“Fantastic all around! We ate outside, and they were very accommodating for my senior dog..locked his stroller outside so it would be safe and out of the way, got him water. Service was sensational, fast and attentive! The shrimp tacos were probably the best I've ever had, and the rest of my family loved their burgers..all different varieties. A+“

“I stopped by on a walk and decided to check this out prior to selecting a dinner spot for my trip in Chicago. Greeted with charm as I requested to just take a glance at the space. We ended up coming back around 7 pm for dinner and I have to say… it was a stellar choice. Willow was a delightful human to serve us. We picked a seat in the window, it was a romantic and cozy vibe. Low lighting, just perfect for a dinner with a friend. Shepards Nachos are a MUST. Beef Tips…a must. Get the cheesecake… Shoutout to Willow for being a wonderful person to be around during our trip. Excellent service. 👌👌👌 We will be back. 💚“

I don’t do valet often, but seemed a little weird that they only hold the door open for the driver, not the lady. Little awkward having them hold the door open for me, while I walked her around to the passenger side to open, then back to my door where the valet was waiting. Is this normal?? They also did not open for her when we arrived. Maybe for efficiency since it gets backed up there often?“

“The sign says established in 1932, and every time I've driven by, I think I need to stop in. I finally did, and am kicking myself for wasted time. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The large bar and restaurant seating is comfortable and spacious. There is a variety of beers on tap, served in well-frosted glasses. We sat at the bar and I had one of the best burgers I've ever had, served with homemade chips. It was so good that I almost returned with another companion the next day!“

“We held an 80 person event here and the coordinator Caryn was detailed, communicative and so nice! The waitstaff and bartenders, the food runners, and managers all helped to run a smooth luncheon, the busboy was attentive and kind! Everyone loved the event and the food and we already want to book again!“

“I truly cant explain it.... I have been to some of the best steak joints in this city but none have been able to compare to the steak frites here. It is consistently top tier, seasoned so well, and cooked to perfection. All the other food is fantastic but that steak slaps every GD time.“

“I’m going to be so honest and say I’ve never been there but we can’t wait to. The owners and their family saved Thanksgiving when they donated food, resources and a kitchen to prepare food for 400-500 people (free of charge) at the 28th annual Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Benedict’s when the church’s kitchen became unusable. We met Halsted personally while volunteering and we were just take aback at how generous, kind and lovely these folks were to take on this challenge and on a holiday. I hope our community will continue to remember this and support these fantastic folks for a long, long time.“

“I had an amazing time at FTW Arcade Bar! The atmosphere is perfect for a fun night out with friends. The arcade games are a blast, and the vibe is electric.
What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service from our bartender, Luke. He was not only super friendly but also knew how to make some killer cocktails! Luke was attentive, quick, and always had a great recommendation ready when we were unsure of what to try next. His energy added to the overall fun of the night, making our experience unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a great place to unwind with games, drinks, and top-notch service, FTW is the spot to be. Huge shoutout to Luke..he made our night! Can’t wait to come back!“

“Absolutely obsessed. I ordered the charred veg salad with rotisserie chicken and it was massive, packed with veggies and absolutely delicious. Way better than any other office lunch I’ve had in the loop. The seating area was really nice and was clean. Didn’t have to wait for a table during peak lunch rush.
It took everything in me not to order the chocolate chip cookie. It looked incredible, chewy, and clearly made with brown butter.
The cashier was super friendly and urged me to check out the market and cafe that are all on the first floor of the building. I was so impressed! Will absolutely be back at all three. The coffee shop uses Dark Matter which is my favorite coffee in Chicago so I know where I’ll be tomorrow morning!“

“This is a fantastic new spot located at the Wilmette Public Golf Course ⛳️✨ The place has been completely renovated and looks fresh and modern, which really adds to the overall vibe 😍 The menu is thoughtfully put together by an experienced manager named John, and you can tell there’s a lot of care behind it 👍 The food is great, and they also offer an impressive selection of top-shelf spirits 🍸
It’s exciting that the menu is still evolving, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how it develops over the summer ☀️ They’re planning an open-wall concept that will blend the indoor and outdoor spaces, along with a spacious patio where you can relax and enjoy drinks with friends 🍹 Definitely a place worth checking out!“
