“I came in to grab a quick lunch and was really impressed by the service, quality, and atmosphere. The lady in the front was super sweet, really attentive and patient. The sushi chef was obviously a skilled man by looking at his knife skills. The food tasted fresh. The fish in my sushi bibimbop was fresh, as well as the mango and salad. Ingredients look like it was maintained and stored to proper procedures. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi or poke. “We ordered sushi for take out from here on a whim (after our regular place turned out so busy on Good Friday that they disconnected their phone and turned off online ordering). They have a great selection of maki, both basics and specialty rolls at very fair prices. Edamame was piping hot when we got it home. We found a nice surprise in our order - they had included 2 ice cream desserts with a hand written note to have a good night on the box. Really sweet touch. Everything was fresh and yummy - I also feel like the specialty roll portions were very sizeable. Will definitely come back again to try some of the bento meals and udon noodles! Thanks :)“

“The service is always amazing, the green tea is fantastic, the atmosphere is lovely and the sushi is out of this world! The sushi chefs are VERY conscientious of food allergies and modifications are not only recommended but often accommodated. We highly suggest the edamame with garlic, salt and spice. Delicious!! For sushi their Grinch roll is a must. We have never been disappointed with anything we’ve tried and we have went way outside of our comfort zone a few times. ;)“

“This has quickly become my 'go to' place for sushi. I've had quite a variety of their rolls, and everything was quite good! In-person dining is best described as intimate owing to the small size of the restaurant. If you're claustrophobic, this might be off putting. Seems clean; a bit heavy on dark wood. Service was efficient, though the woman that served our table during my first visit seemed overwhelmed (I believe she was the sole server). Poor thing! My preference is to order for takeout so I can pig out in private at home. If you love the spicy kick of wasabi as I do, don't hesitate to ask for extra--they'll readily compliment your order with more. Overall, good quality sushi in terms of sizes of the rolls and taste, at price points that won't cause considerable angst. I can, and do, recommend Abishari with great ease.“

“This restaurant was pretty good. They seem to mix Japanese, Thai, and Korean flavors which is very unique. The tonkotsu broth was good but I found it weak. I liked all the topping they added to. It makes the Udon taste better. This place is good if you're craving some unique Asian flavors. I probably would come back if I'm craving Udon again!“

“This place is legit. We came here for the Korean Sashimi experience. I wasn't expecting much since this place is in a pretty unassuming strip mall but the quality of the fish is what did it for me. I believe the owner buys an entire tuna and expertly slices different parts himself. I had the best tasting sashimi here. And as much fish as I have had in my life I found myself asking the waitress what part of the tuna I was eating. First time trying Tuna jaw meat and it was astounding. The amount of toro grade tuna that was served amazed me. Service was a bit slow but with high quality fresh fish that they serve all was forgiven. 5 stars all the way.“

“First time dining here since the ownership changed and I'll definitely be back. Restaurant is spacious, comfortable and clean. We came Friday for lunch and tried their lunch specials which come with soup. I tried the Orange Shrimp (pictured), Sushi Platter and Beef with Mixed Vegetables. Both the sushi and Chinese dishes were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the hot & sour soup with my platter which is one way I gauge the authenticity & quality of a Chinese restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. The soup and dishes we ordered reminded me of my parent's restaurant which they ran for over 30 years. There are very few restaurants serving quality Chinese dishes in the Northwest suburbs so come out and support this restaurant.“

“I finally discovered this cosy restaurant which was on my list quite awhile. Everything we tried today was excellent. Miso soup and boiled edamame were just as good as expected. The highlight of my dinner was a sashimi plate! The quality of the medium fatty blue fin tuna and lean blue fin tuna was outstanding. Sake toro and escolar sashimi were mouthwatering. The charred flavor of my husband's squid and mushrooms was delightful. His skewers of chicken and beef were well prepared. His sushi selection of octopus, squid, egg and smoked salmon was fresh and well presented. We were really impressed by the very generous portions and the very fair pricing of the outstanding quality fish compared to the other Japanese restaurants. “Reservations require a minimum payment of $50 per person. Even for infants and babies, if you use a reserved seat for one person, you will need to commit to paying $50. In most cases, infants cannot eat meals that cost more than $50, so parents have to order extra food to cover the cost of the child. Therefore, if you have small children, it may be better to walk in instead of making a reservation.“

“I ordered a bowl for pickup through their website. I chose crab sticks for my main protein. Extra $1 each to add avocado and crabstick salad. It was delicious and the sushi rice was hot. Bowl was ready at their estimated time. My only complaint is that they forgot 3 of the ingredients that were written on the receipt: pineapple, mango, sweet onion. There was no extra charge for these so I wasn't too upset about it but forgetting 3 items in the bowl is kind of a lot. Next time I'll order there inside the restaurant.“

The only critique would be to to change the sesame chicken recipe because it looked and tasted exactly like the orange chicken with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Sesame chicken meat was tough too, we were disappointed with that dish. Otherwise we will be back to try more things off the menu.“

It's bigger that what the storefront would suggest.Quite a large selection of Canton, Hunan, Mongolian and Szechwan dishes.They also carry a wide selection of Sushi dishes, which I do not eat.Beer selection is pretty much Asian brews. The wine list is rather limited. If you go here, it is for the food, which is quite tasty.“

“The all-you-can-eat dinner is a good way to try many things on the menu. I have tried about ten different rolls over the years. My two favorite rolls are Black Dragon and Snow Mountain (see the attached picture). The Snow Mountain Roll is not on the all-you-can-eat menu. For some reason, the salmon tasted slightly fishy this time. One time we came as a large party and only two people wanted the all-you-can-eat option. We were told that everyone at the table needed to order all-you-can-eat. I can understand the reasoning for that.“

“I have been wanting to try this place for a while now. I had made a reservation for my friend's birthday. However, I did arrive 10 minutes after my reservation that was a big mistake. It was early afternoon, and the place was already packed. The host was more than accommodating and put us on the list, all we had to do was wait in an additional 30 minutes and I'm glad we did. I do recommend that you make a reservation. They max the table at about two hours so use your time wisely. If you are new to hot pot, it can be a little confusing. Our server tried to do his best and explain how everything works but again, as I mentioned above this place gets pretty busy so he had his hands full. I met some cool people in the buffet line that explained how this particular hot pot will go. While sitting at the table you can purchase additional items outside of the hot pot menu you selected. My friend and I chose to go with the unlimited Wagyu and sushi. This is definitely a restaurant that you would go to on a special occasion. The whole WOW factor is the robot serving you. Just make sure you're sitting at your table and move fast because that robot is on a mission. With all that being said, I truly enjoy the experience. If I had to rate this restaurant, I would give it a 7 out of only because customer service was lacking that day due to the restaurant being very busy.“

“It's the hubby's birthday..he was in the mood for tempura.. so we stopped in here. Service was fast and friendly.. answered any questions we had. We ordered crab ragoons, pot stickers, hot tempura plate with shrimp and white rice.. he ordered tempura vegtables and shrimp plate with fried rice. We also had the meso soup and house salad..
