“We love skippy’s! The food is always fresh and delicious but the real star of the show for me is their dips! The ranch is amazing and the honey mustard is THE BEST. They have their own recipe and make it fresh in the stores. Can’t go wrong!“

“Our first time coming here, and no doubt we’ll be coming back here when we are in the area. Friendly staff and generous complimentary pieces! I had the chicken shawarma and the taste was perfect! Reminds me of our time in Dubai, so the dish was delicious and very authentic mediterranean food! On top of the generous given out appetizer of pita bread and chips, Chef Abdul personally handed us 3 pieces of balaclavas and chocolates. I recommend checking this place out!“

“Food was great as usual. We had a short wait even with a reservation, but not too long. The staff is so friendly, welcoming & efficient. We brought friends that had never been and they already want to go back. It can be a little crowded but definitely worth it.“

“Would not consider myself a "kabob" kinda guy. Feed me a hotdog n burger any day of the week. My friend recommended this and I gave it a shot. Thought the food was great. Got the steak kabob dinner that came with pita bread, rice, potatoes, and a side salad. Even though it was a bit pricey, there was plenty of food on that plate. Also got the spinach pie and it was delicious! The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. Only down side is, its a bit small on the inside and the parking lot becomes difficult to navigate during busy times. Decore could be updated but it wasnt a priority for me. I would return again.Parking: Small parking lot. Difficuly to navigate during busy hours.“

“Good food and good service. My three pictures I included are of the Beef Shish Kebab, jalapeño poppers, and the side salad served to begin the meal. Besides the beef, which was excellent, the plate has the rice (saffron probably?) which was very tasty and the parsley and onion salad with some seasoning on it. Not sure what it was but it was very good. Two sauces came with the meal, a very hot red sauce and a garlic white sauce. Used that white sauce on some of the meat but it also pairs very nicely with the pita bread that comes with the meal. The poppers were also quite good (and there were several more; we ate a bunch before I thought to take a picture). Not overly hot but just right. There was enough food to fill you up and it was reasonably priced. They do have a credit card surcharge of 3% so you may want to pay cash if you have it with you. The restaurant is clean and neat, and nothing fancy, but the food and an attentive cashiers/order taker/server/everything person made the meal go great. I don't live too near here and found it almost by accident since it just happened to be near where I was. I would make the trip to come back.“

“First things first... they have moved from the gas station location to about a couple of blocks south. They share the place with Big Skillet Pancake House. ( picture posted) . Their food is still the same. However, the service has considerably changed for the better. The place is obviously bigger ( than the gas station location). I'm not sure if I like the idea of sharing the place with a pancake house. All said and done they do deserve ****“

“At first when I walk in there's no music playing and it's eerie. The atmosphere seems a bit sad. When he brought us the food that's where the focused changed. The food was good, just wished it would have been a bit hotter but there was flavor in the food. It kept us busy. He seemed to be friendly and kind with everyone he met. I am assuming he is the owner or some sort of management. I would recommend it for eating out but if you are looking to eat in maybe not a good idea if atmosphere matters to you.“

“If you’re looking for authentic, home cooked Chicago food Brandy’s is your place!! I love that it’s family owned and the food never disappoints. I’ve lived in the Chicagoland area my whole life and I’ve never had a better Maxwell Polish than the one at Brandy’s. The spicy feta gyros are another must try when visiting. The staff is always friendly and they have very fast service, even with their crazy huge menu! Anytime I visit family in Hanover park I make sure to get Brandy’s at least once a trip. Such a gem!“

“It has a vibe of mom and pop restaurant. Service is good but the restaurant can use a bit of face-lift inside. Food tastes good but like the other reviews, some care needs to taken. When we went there were few other guests who seemed to enjoy the food. Our server made sure we got good service.“
