“Tried the new menu item Gyros. Hope they keep it on the menu. They were great. The Tzatziki Sauce which makes a Gyro was perfect with enough cucumbers. We now have a new place to go to for Gyros. Last, I had just about everything on their menu and everything is delicious.“

“My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

The man who helped me was very friendly, was pulling fresh bread out of the oven and put a good amount of meat on my subs and made them perfectly. I then went to my car and read the reviews. Other Subways go cheap and barely give you any food on the bread. I don’t eat at Subway as often as I would because of this. I forgot about this Subway location. I just happened to google search locations to see which location was closer to me and this store popped up as the closest to me. I will definitely be back!“

What made this visit truly special was Brooklyn. Her personality was outstanding—she was attentive, warm, and wasn't shy about spreading positivity with genuinely sweet compliments. “Crunchy Tacos at Taco Bell
I have something to get off my chest. Whoever is making the Crunchy Taco Supreme at Taco Bell in Fox Lake, just know, you deserve a raise, a new truck, and a winning lotto ticket, maybe even a Nobel Peace Prize. Seriously, if you air dropped these to the war you could bring an actual peace deal to the Gaza Strip. It comes out the way it looks on the menu, it isnt soggy or broken, for some reason it doesnt fall apart at all as youre eating it, and yet the lettuce has yet to make me have explosive diarrhea. Brave of me, I know, but this has been consistent for a couple of weeks now. I have yet to crush through an entire 12 party pack of crunchy tacos, but I feel as though if I did, theoretically, all 12 tacos would be pristine, immaculate, and in their most prestigious form of taco, with the most perfect layers of ground beef, sour cream, lettuce, cheese and tomato. If my body is a temple, mine is constructed out of a foundation of crunchy tortilla shells. I wish you the best and I hope that both sides of your pillow are cool. Don't Ever Change. I love you. 🫶“

“What a breath of fresh air. I know running a Subway is incredibly difficult with how corporate gouges the franchised locations, but this location stands above the rest. No skimping on ingredients, great attitudes and friendly employees. This is the Subway to go to.“

“UPDATE: Back in July, I had a negative experience here and originally left a poor review. I’m not in the area often, but I finally stopped back in today to express my frustration.
The manager was extremely understanding, kind, and professional. They listened to my concerns and made things right by replacing the food I never received. Luckily, I was hungry! 😂

“Always a delicious spot for lunch and dinner. Daily specials posted on the white board inside. Tacos never disappoint! I always get 2 tacos and some rice with a horchata. Dine in available but beware parking a little weird outside and if you're unfamiliar with unloading wheelchairs in a slight slant I would park in the side or exterior of the building of at all possible. Parking is limited and easier to pull into going north bound on rt 12. South bound you sit in the meridian until traffic dispurses. There are also signs posted for not parking at the local deli next door, just avoid the south end of the building actually.“

“This McDonald's is a model for how it should be! I went through the drive-thru to pick up my online order, and there were a few cars in line, so I figured it was gonna take at least a few minutes. “Good food. Service is VERY hit or miss. Several times I have had to walk in and grab sauces or plasticware they forgot to give me though the drive through. Including once where they handed me my drink with no straw, I waited, handed me my bag of food. I said we don't have a straw. He said it was in the bag. I pulled forward while looking and obviously there was no straw so I had to go inside. Also have waited 5+ minutes for teriyaki chicken and she walks it out to me with no teriyaki sauce. So basically go inside and order if your easily frustrated so you can hold their hands while they bag your order. I'm apparently incredibly patient. Been coming here for years and this is constant, maybe 10-20 percent of the time I have to go inside to get something they forgot.

But the food is normally pretty good so I keep going back.“
