“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“My experience, at Pop's Italian Beef Restaurant, has all ways been a pleasant one. The food there is very delicious and homemade fresh. We bought our your grand twins there, at the time they were 6yrs. old, a few years ago, and they still ask about coming back. The staff treated them so well and were so impressed with their young mannerisms, and said to us, to bring them back at anytime. “As I walked in the cashier was too busy playing a game on her phone. She acted as if I was disturbing her. Anyway now to the pizza I ordered a small pizza with 4 toppings, extra cheese and sauce. It was 30 dollars a couple of the toppings was a double charge. They told me 40 minutes. I've never waited that long for a pizza but okay. It wasn't definitely no extra cheese and sauce. I must say it was delicious. Just a few things rubbed me the wrong way so I'm not sure if I will try it again“

“I grew up in this neighborhood and started eating this pizza in the 70's. Geneo's wouldn't be around if it wasn't great pizza! I can't wait to be back in the old neighborhood, stopping at Geneo's is a must.“

The food servings are very generous, everything is very shareable. They even have an area where you can grab a beer if you’d like. The restaurant has a large sitting area and there is a covered back patio. Service is excellent and the restaurant very clean. A great place to stop!“

“Visited Mr Brown’s in Chicago Heights with my wife and ordered the 6-piece mixed chicken meal with fries and corn fritters as sides. The chicken was juicy inside and crispy outside, not greasy at all. Fries were perfectly cooked and the corn fritters were sweet and flavorful. You can tell the food is made fresh. The guys there were so nice and helpful, very satisfying meal overall.“
