“Although I hear they have good smashburgers had a taste for wings. It's rare to find places that will give you the whole wing. Only downside, I wish they were a little bigger and on the online menu it pictured it came with coleslaw. It did come with fries that were nice and crispy. Overall, the meal was good and hot by the time I made it back home.“

“They have a really good smash burger that they cook on the flat top to order. It was juicy and flavorful and their house sauce was better than any condiment you could put on a burger. Surprised they don’t have bacon. I tried to add bacon to my double burger and they abruptly said they don’t have bacon. Fries are pretty good too.
They are cash only so make sure you come prepared.“

“Red Hot Ranch is amazing. I appreciate the staffs and managers kindness to me even though I have autism and their food is amazing and really good. Owner Brad is very nice. The restaurant is in good condition. Chicago style hot dog is wonderful. Must come back. 10/10.“

“Cool spot!! My wife and I had a random craving for a juicy (not fast food) burger and decided on BRGRBelly in Portage Park. It was exactly what we had in mind! I got the Rising Sun A thick, tasty juicy burger that was not overpriced, served with waay too many fries! We'll definitely be back. 100% recommend“

“Don's. If you've ever had Waffle House, this is the closest I've found to it in Chi. Great food, great service. It's a bit tight, they only have about 12-15 barstool seats, but it's never been an issue, never had to wait.

“Butcher & Bear was absolutely phenomenal. We had the Rockefeller meatballs, Wagyu steak, and vodka sauce pasta — every dish was outstanding. The steak was some of the best I've had in the city. Service was incredible too, super attentive without being overbearing. 10 out of 10 — highly recommend.“

“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

“New to the neighborhood, I was excited to try this place, and MAN OH MAN. It was so good. Classic comfort with a delicious twist. We got the Tahini Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Kefta Burger, and the Stuffed Falafel; not a dud in the bunch. The toppings and condiments that some on the burger and sandwich made basic diner food such a delight without feeling over the top. The real stand out was the stuffed falafel. I never thought of having a filling in a falafel, and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was such a delicious complexity to a classic Middle Eastern dish. Now I want to eat through the whole menu to find my favorites.“

“I have enjoyed my experience at Slim’s. The food was jaw-droppingly delicious. I had one of my favorite Chicago style hotdogs EVER! My uncle completely ADORDED his Chili Dog. The food was five a out of five! The service was as good our food came quickly which showed us that the chefs really cared about their loyal customers. Our server was ok but she was a little monotone. Like, would it kill her to be a little more cheerful? Overall the service was ok. The atmosphere was what I really didn’t like. First of all it smelled like gasoline or something was burning. Plus, the video game was broken. Even though there was a few mishaps here and there it was ok and I would probably go again. Thank you!“

“5 stars for HECTOR in Western Springs!!! Hands down this was the absolute best dining experience I’ve ever had! While the food was delicious and the overall ambiance and decor of the restaurant was cozy, it was our server that made this dining experience over the top, great! HECTOR, you are a gem, a diamond! You have an absolutely charming personality and made my mother in law’s birthday dinner an experience to remember! “I went here to celebrate a birthday and I absolutely loved it. I got the chicken sandwich and my partner got the 8am burger with fries. They give you a mountain of fries. Both sandwiches were big and left me feeling full. The chicken is fried like a fish and I love the breading. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for varieties of burgers and a pretty chill restaurant environment. Parking was easy to find (street parking) and they have some games in the back while you wait for your food which is nice.“

“Finally got to try an Italian beef sandwich, and it didn't disappoint.
Huge sandwich at a decent price. I barely had time to put my credit card back in my wallet that my order was ready 🤪.
The beef is juicy and delicious. I also liked the hot peppers. I had mine with extra american cheese but it didn't really add much, the beef speaks for itself.“

“The food is excellent. The Italian Beef is The best italian beef I've had. The meat was well seasoned, well proportioned and not dry. The bread was also really good. The polish was also excellent. The polish was well cooked and well flavored. All the way had peppers and onions and they went well with the polish. Cash only spot, to go only.“

You pay what you get and it’s worth every penny. Keep up the great work Alexander’s!!
