“Extremely good burger for super cheap, only accept cash and wait is longer than normal but worth it. No indoor seating and packed usually bc its so good. If you eat in their outdoor seating expect the train to interrupt your conversation every 15 mins because its right under the tracks“

“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

“New to the neighborhood, I was excited to try this place, and MAN OH MAN. It was so good. Classic comfort with a delicious twist. We got the Tahini Ranch Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Kefta Burger, and the Stuffed Falafel; not a dud in the bunch. The toppings and condiments that some on the burger and sandwich made basic diner food such a delight without feeling over the top. The real stand out was the stuffed falafel. I never thought of having a filling in a falafel, and the sweetness of the caramelized onions was such a delicious complexity to a classic Middle Eastern dish. Now I want to eat through the whole menu to find my favorites.“

“We came here for lunch a few days ago unplanned after doing some work Resolution. I’m glad we did!!

We had a few dogs and I tried their gravy bucket which was amazing. Yes it was 90 degrees the other day but whatever, it was fire. Chili and Tamale in a cup. Super. The dogs were tasty and the fries were crispy.

The staff were friendly and the seating has a few booths. My big hang up was parking. It was limited on a Wednesday afternoon at 1p.

I work across the street, and I’ll admit—I eat here way more than I probably should. The Philly cheesesteak is hands down the best I’ve ever had. Their burgers are incredible, the hot dogs are classic Chicago perfection, and honestly, I’ve never had a bad meal.

The real testament to how good it is? Even when I’m home in Irving Park, I find myself craving Johnny’s so much that I’ll drive all the way back to Lincoln Park just for dinner. It’s that good.

The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and made right every single time. If you’re anywhere near Lincoln Park and wondering where to eat, do yourself a favor and stop at Johnny’s. You won’t regret it.“

“From our of town, but we found this place on FindMeGF app. It's a cute place. I got a burger with gluten free bun and my partner got GF chicken fingers. No GF menu, just tell them about your gluten allergy. They have separate fryer for gluten free folks. There seems to be no cross-contamination either, we did not have any reaction. The food is really good. Not many variety but they do very well what they offer.“

“Absolutely the best Italian Beef sandwich on the south side, arguably the best in Chicago. The home made Giardiniera is also very good, with the perfect amount of heat. The sandwich is huge and the price is very good. Wish they had fresh cut fries. People working there are always nice. Small place, not a lot of seating, but has the old school Chicago vibe that I like. I live an hour away, but if I'm in the area I always stop in for a bite.“
