“My sister Shelly Nagy purchased tickets to a Sunday afternoon drag brunch to celebrate my birthday! Marco not only held the door open for his guests, but he was also very kind and generous! He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! The music was a hit (inside and out) and the upscale atmosphere will always have me anxiously waiting to come back soon! Thank you Marcos & Shelly for the most wonderful birthday celebration anyone will ever dream of! Gorgeous Downtown LaGrange is lucky to have Marco’s Kitchen! Take me back already!“

“We dined at Seasons 52 after the Easter Brunch had concluded. While the restaurant was really crowded, we were seated within 10-15 minutes of our reservation time. Our server was friendly and attentive, as well as helpful in making suggestions about menu items. We enjoyed the shrimp flatbread and crab stuffed mushrooms as appetizers. My husband's Chilean sea bass and my wood grilled salmon were both perfectly prepared. In addition to the sides which accompanied each of our meals, we shared the Brussels sprouts. Our meal was capped off with a flight of six desserts which we took home .“

“The food here is FANTASTIC. We ordered the stuffed banana peppers, coconut shrimp, salmon that’s on corn tamale cake (oh my goodness), seafood linguine, and lobster mac n cheese. “We were indifferent to Mora when it first opened several years ago. The food was ok but not great. We went back for the first time in years a few weeks ago and were absolutely delighted by everything. We returned on Sunday afternoon and continue to be bowled over inspite of the noisy laughter coming from a couple of women in a corner booth.“

“We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception at Francesca’s Amici Elmhurst. The event coordinator, Nancy, was hands down the best. She is well experienced and has a true talent. Our group of nearly 80 people were very comfortable in the private room. There was plenty of room for our guests to enjoy a standing cocktail hour followed with a sit down dinner. The food was even better the evening of, kudos to the kitchen. And they did any excellent job making sure they were well staffed for the event. The staff was EXCELLENT, attentive and helpful. “Best burger spot in town, hands down! Everything is made fresh — from the buns to the lettuce to the patties. You can really taste the quality. My personal favorite is the Green Line with avocado — absolutely the best! And even though it’s a burger place, their chicken wings are amazing. The waffle fries? Come on… so good! “What a great meal and service at Pasta D'Arte Trattoria Italiana!
To start, the drinks were solid—a nicely balanced Manhattan on the rocks and generous pours on the wines by the glass. Our group of four shared the Caprese Salad and Caesar Salad, both excellent and plenty to go around.
For entrées, we enjoyed the Linguini Del Mare, Pumpkin Ravioli, Osso Buco, and Walleye Alla Piccata. Everyone loved their dishes! Note that the tomato-based sauces have a nice spicy kick from red pepper—we really enjoyed it, but if you prefer milder, I assume they can likely accommodate.
The attentive and knowledgeable service made the experience even better, guiding us through choices nicely. Free valet on a busy Saturday night was a plus as well, and the overall vibe was welcoming.
My only complaint: the place gets very noisy on a packed Saturday night, making conversation tough without raising your voice. It's that lively, bustling trattoria energy, though!

“Our Estillos Barber Studio team has visited Amerikas Restaurant a few times now, and it’s quickly becoming one of our favorite spots in Oak Park. Great mix of good energy, great people, and a welcoming atmosphere.

“The chili is good. Entered into a chili competition at work and really didnt feel like cooking. Purchased 4 quarts of chili and told my co-workers how I slaved over making this chili, putting just the right spices in to give it its unique taste. Everyone loved it! I lost 1st place by two points, probably because the judge can't add, but whatever. And yes, those are hotdogs in the picture. We made chili dogs. Their cream of chicken soup is good too.“

“We ordered 2 of the Spuntino Family Meals for 6 for our holiday party and as always they were delicious! We went with the Chicken Limon and Chicken Parmesan with both penne marinara and penne vodka sauce. More than enough food for 15 people easily ! They give you an abundant amount of salad and both choices of chicken were super flavorful! And we absolutely love the bruschetta! Did I mention the 2 pizzas! My family definitely recommends Spuntinos not just for the value but the flavor and quality of the meals. Delicious, fresh, and always a crowd favorite.“
