“The concept for the menu is a unique trip along the Pan-American highway with stops at various Latin countries. Each dish and drink is thoughtful in its ingredients and presentation. The jicama salad was refreshing, but not at all plain. The pastel de choclo was a wonderful surprise of a warm dish. The frozen el arenal was seriously dangerous in how delicious it was, I can’t recommend it enough. The atmosphere was beautiful and the music was perfect. We are so thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood and can’t wait to see what they do in the future!“

Then they suggested fresh flowers to lift the cake up and admittedly I had no idea how it would turn out. Well let me tell you all, this was the prettiest, best tasting cake I've ever had before. People stopped me as I was walking out with it to admire it. The people at the restaurant we hosted the party at wanted to know where it was from. Cakes are honestly such a center piece of a party and this cake did not disappoint. Mindy and her team are some of the best, most talented people around. “A small celebration was planned at Giordano's in Willowbrook for my nieces' Baptisms. My Hubby and I walked in early with balloons and flowers, two hours early, in fact. Yet this did not faze anyone there. They could not have been nicer. "You're a little early..." "We came to decorate." Stephanie showed us to a sunny corner of the restaurant, all set up for the expected 20 guests. She offered us an ice-cold beverage. Several hours later, the party was in full swing, with a wide variety of fantastic pizza spread out among the many tables. It was served after a delicious and very fresh Caesar salad. Yum! All of our many favorite flavors/crusts were represented, which kept Stephanie busy serving the tables. The pizzas were hot with crispy crusts. The mostaccioli had stretchy cheese with an almost creamy texture. It had a little kick, too. Fabulous! A dessert table followed the pizza, which was just right. We never felt rushed, and so stayed to visit a while longer. This Willowbrook Giordano's was super clean with a cheerful, efficient staff. Thank you, Stephanie and Manager Patrick. We will return!“

“I came for the first time during the lunch time rush. I was attended to within 1 min, and my food was ready to go within 5 min after that. When I opened my Asada Protein bowl, I was impressed with the presentation! Lol I've never noticed that before with any previous bowls I've ever ordered anywhere, so the cook placed care into it. “This little shop is the perfect addition to west town! It’s very modern but cozy inside with a 4-5 tables. I’ve been a few times for both dine in and takeout. The staff is super friendly with great suggestions and happy to make modifications. In the morning I’ll get a banana fosters latte but half sweet which is just perfect. It’s got a lovely banana cinnamon mix. For lunch I’ll get the shawarma salad with chicken, the rice in a nice touch that makes this feel more like a meal than just a salad. I’ve had the gluten free treats and they are definitely on the healthy tasting side. All in all love this place and will be back again and again!“

I spoke to the manager, Jackie, at the Damen location . She understood my dilemma and told me to come anytime to Damen location. I came today to pick up my order , even though, it was more than a week after I placed the order. She remembered who I was on the phone and the order and personally made the chicken burrito for me. However, I want to specifically highlight a young man by the name of Dominick. I can’t say enough about Dominick. He possesses exemplary customer service skills. Every encounter I have had with him, he has been very courteous, very professional, very engaging and above all has gone the extra mile to accommodate my “special requests“. In addition, my most recent encounter, approximately two weeks ago, I could see the absolute joy he received when seeing how happy I was when he was, once again, able to Grant a special request for me. You just don’t see this level of customer service in the fast food industry. There just aren’t enough adjectives which adequately express how great of a representative Dominick is for DiCola’s.“

“I have tried most of the Cuban restaurants in and around Chicago and this is the best for authentic Cuban food and consistency. I find the BYOB a real plus. The only problem is the hours are short if you want to go out for dinner. Almost impossible if you are a working person to get to the restaurant before closing. Even weekends are a problem. The quality of the food makes it my favorite place to go to eat the best Cuban food.“
