“I don’t like to leave poor reviews but hoping this will help the restaurant do better. We ordered at 1:09 pm, at 1:30 I finally went up front to check on our food. I did this because I saw others eating that were in line behind me. My tray with my children’s meals was sitting there, holding on cheese curds. I was able to grab my food. My bun was as hard as a rock, food was Luke warm. They should have brought my food then brought out the curds later. Also, I received 12 cheese curds, this was very upsetting considering it’s a $2 up charge for curds. Never had issues in the past, hoping just a fluke because we love Culver’s!“

“I don't know what it is but I freaking love Chili's. I don't eat at a lot of corporate chains in general but I do this one. I came here for a birthday dinner with my family while we came through town for a high school baseball game. It was outstanding!

I don't eat meat or other animal ingredients. Chili's does an excellent job of cooking vegetables on clean grills and I have never had a problem with cross contamination. My favorite Mexican spot (in nearby Vincennes) has $10 fajitas and they're wonderful. But the Chili's version is different than standard Mexican restaurant fajitas.

Chili's hooked me up with a huge skillet full of vegetables, guacamole, beans, rice, pico, with four flour tortillas. I skipped the cheese, sour cream, chipotle butter, and meat to keep the dish vegan. They let me sub out the chicken for guacamole and loaded me up with it. It was so good.

We also got the bottomless chips (which are outstanding). My wife and son both got the Santa Fe burger. My wife got the meatless kind, my son got the regular one. They both liked it but my wife said she doesn't really like bean patties which is what Chili's has. We also got a free lava cake since it was my birthday. My son ate that and it was pretty big.

Portion sizes on my fajitas were huge. We ate lots of chips and salsa too. I like Chili's but it can be a little crowded and loud. Loud is fine but loud because of kids crying or getting in trouble is annoying. That's kind of what was happening a couple tables over.

I hate that fajitas are $20 at Chili's and especially bad when you consider ordering with no meat. It was cool they let me sub out guac for it though. That's double the price of my favorite Mexican spot, and you used to be able to order two fajitas for $20 back in the day.

I can't wait to go back. We always go somewhere else because of the time and cost. But hopefully I don't have to wait until my next birthday for Chil's again! Service was excellent last night. Thanks!“

“My life was incomplete until I came to Denny’s in Effingham Illinois. I was lost, searching for greater meaning in my life. Today I found it. I was coming through for a band trip with some of my friends all the way from prosper Texas. I said, “yo, let’s go to Denny’s” not expending the utter life change I was about to experience

Jennifer was the greatest server in all of the serving world. Not only did she give us the best water I have ever had, but she knew BALL about fish fry Friday. Not many times can you say that this is an occurrence at your average Denny's.

Lucky for you, this Denny's is beyond average. Service: Excellent, Food: Incredible, Jennifer: Unbelievable. I ate my 10 dollar pancakes with the passion of a man madly in love with a hot Spanish woman. Now that I think about it, I would pick the pancakes any day.

It is with great sadness that I admit my time at Dennys is over, and I hope to return one day to the place of my rebirth. If there is one last thing I can say: go to this Denny’s“

“Nicest new modern IHOP I've been to! Sat at the 8 seat bar aside the plenty of restaurant seating and had a great priced $7 omelet with 2 delicious pancakes! Makala, my waitress, was friendly and a delight! My food came out quick and hot! Great priced gas, along side, to boot! And easy to get to, right off the highway! Plenty of car and truck parking. Highly recommend from someone that travels a lot and eats out a lot. 👍👍😃“
