I had a large pickup order today for myself and my family and when I arrived the kitchen manager came out to describe that they had to restart one of the pizzas, offering to let me go now with the rest of my order - plus the messup free for extra snackage - and that he would come deliver the remake himself in a bit so I didn’t have to wait. The entire staff was so friendly, kind and accommodating during the pickup and communication process. If you haven’t had Kaisers, what’re ya doin??“

We had a wide variety of dietary preferences in our group - basically a bunch of picky eaters in different ways - and everyone found something they were happy with. “We were so happy to find that Little Joey's was still here after we moved away from the area for 14yrs! We started getting pizza from Little Joey's when they first opened - our son Joey was 5 or 6 at the time, so it was perfect! Now, their pizza quality has remained very good! “We hosted an end of the season tackle football banquet for 50 people in the party room at JJ Twig’s in Wauconda tonight. Tiffany was a dream to work with — super responsive, accommodating, and had great insight into just how much food to order. The party room was the perfect private venue that allowed our rambunctious group of 10 year old boys some space to roam without disturbing other diners. Food was good — we ordered pizzas, baked mostaccioli, meatballs, chicken tenders and salad. Compared to other local venues we considered, JJ Twig’s is a real value. Along with the good food and great service, JJ Twig’s is the full package!“

“This is a solid pizza joint. I’ve ordered delivery 4-5 times. Good ingredients, speedy delivery and consistent results. Plus the delivery guy is a nice guy and seems genuinely proud of the pizza. I compare it to to Rosatis, but I like this better, and that’s with zero shade. In conclusion… if Jimanos is in your neighborhood hood, you should give it a chance. Ps the BLT Pizza was awesome. I feel like I invented it in 2002… But immediately thought it was better than the one I made. Only complaint… Too much bacon. But then I say that out loud and it sounds stupid. You can’t complain about too much bacon. That’s dumb. Everything that was supposed to be crisp was crisp and everything that was supposed to be hot was hot. Almost like a McDLT…“

“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza.
