“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“I recently got married at Morgan MFG and Gerard/Occasions catered the meal. Everyone from our wedding has commented on our food and how fresh and amazing it was. The food came out hot (which RARELY happens at a wedding with 200+ guests). The service was phenomenal and I couldn't speak more highly of Gerard and all of the staff. “We had our son's first birthday here and cannot say enough good things about Gilhooleys. The manager Jim was incredibly helpful and easy to work with. The staff the day of was amazing and friendly. The food (we did the brunch option) was so delicious. We got so many compliments about the food and the space from our guests. It was our first time hosting a party so we were nervous, but Gilhooleys made everything easy for us. We are so grateful for such a wonderful time!“

However, this new location is closer to my house and I would be a frequent customer if they would ever answer the phone. I called both numbers on this page. One is out of service the other never gets answered. I want to see this restaurant succeed. It is Black owned and I want to support it. “I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. Food was delicious 1/2 Henny chicken, green beans & potatoes, and macaroni & cheese) and seasoned perfectly, except for the bed of rice that the 1/2 Henny chicken was served on. “Looking for a fun place to take my staff for lunch. Decided to try Wilma’s bbq (former tilted kilt space) It was really good……as with any bbq place it’s all about the sauce. We ordered a couple of lunch specials (tips & wings) ad a seafood platter (shrimp & perch)
Everything came with fries, slaw and our server Ashley brought tons of ketchup & sauce. Highly recommend“
