“I recently got married at Morgan MFG and Gerard/Occasions catered the meal. Everyone from our wedding has commented on our food and how fresh and amazing it was. The food came out hot (which RARELY happens at a wedding with 200+ guests). The service was phenomenal and I couldn't speak more highly of Gerard and all of the staff. If you are between a few options - choose occasions.“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“I absolutely recommend Lencionis for your next banquet or party. The Jarosky family were the best to work with, they accommodated all our needs and helped in every way possible without a problem. We had close to 300 people at our annual Harvey Daze event and they took care of all of us without a hitch. The food was excellent. We had fried chicken, potato salad, coleslaw tossed salad, baked beans. Later in the evening, we were all in the pub enjoying the evening. We will definitely come back. Great family to work with.“

“I am recommending the restaurant based on past experiences at previous location. Even though the service was slow, the food was delicious and the man who served us had a great attitude. However, this new location is closer to my house and I would be a frequent customer if they would ever answer the phone. I called both numbers on this page. One is out of service the other never gets answered. I want to see this restaurant succeed. It is Black owned and I want to support it. Please update your number on Facebook to the correct number that will get answered. Until I am able to call to place an order, I will place my order at Daisy's Cafe 2 in Hazel Crest. “Wow is all I can say. You provided amazing box lunches for JMD Angels Foundation annual board retreat. One of our board members, Errika Williams, sponsored our lunch and made an excellent choice! “My family utilized Southland to cater my wedding rehearsal dinner. Due to Covid-19, no restaurants were accepting our party of 20 into any indoor or outdoor seated areas. ? But I am glad because Southland did NOT disappoint! The food was incredible! We ordered jerk chicken, lemon broiled chicken, and Italian sausage and peppers. We paired our meats with their rolls, glazed carrots, and roasted potatoes! Everything was seasoned well, juicy, and tasted incredible. We literally had no leftovers ??. Pricing was super affordable and food was nice and hot at arrival. “Ordered online got a Bucket of Tips, When I arrived there was a window for Door Dash pickup so I went to the register. It was a lot of customers inside they did have a sign that online orders and Door Dash are the same window. It wasn’t really a problem for me I just went to the end of the counter and asked the young lady who was calling out numbers for my order. Now about the Tips one word Delish!!! I give it Five ⭐️ ‘s. “I had the BEST experience with Honey's Chicken! I had to place a large order for catfish fillets for my wedding, and the owner actually came out to assist me with the order. He and his staff were very nice and accommodating. Not only were they nice, but the fish was AMAZING! I had to scramble to make sure my husband and I had fish. I'm truly grateful for the service. “Food was great and flavorful , big portions for the price. Tacos de Carne Asada are my go to along with the chile rellenos . They have the BEST Menudo I have ever tried, not watery at all like most, and it is packed with flavor. I definitely recommend the menudo, a must.“
