“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“Haven’t had it in awhile, was driving past and decided to stop. So delicious I stopped the next day too!!!! The only problem I had the second stop was one of my buns was too soggy, but the other 3 dogs were perfect!!!“

“My only complaint is I’m mad I just found out about this place. We ordered a sausage pizza, it’s right up there in my top 5 best pizza’s. It’s very well seasoned and they don’t skimp on the sausage. The sauce was mild and light. The only negative is the size of the pizza. The medium serves 16 square/triangle slices. The medium looks like a small.

The cashier was friendly and courteous. A person in the back, I assume was the owner, was courteous.

Parking: The restaurant is in a small strip mall area, so the lot is shared with other businesses. The main street is busy, but additional parking could be located in the area.“

“My husband and I have been there several times. Unfortunately this Friday I was disappointed in our meals. I ordered the spaghetti seemed like the pasta was a touch overcooked and the marinara sauce was very bland. My husband’s chicken parmesan was huge but the chicken had no flavor other than the crispy breading. Love the Special salad and the pizza! “Leaving Chicago and we wanted a nice little family pizza place. This was the place and boy was it worth it. Pizza was excellent and the cheesy breadsticks oh my so good. The young lady taking the orders was very nice and polite and super friendly. Sauce was good and for a thing crust which my husband normally does not like he was impressed and loved the pizza. If we didnt live almost 2 hours away in Indiana we would be there more often. And next time we are going thru Chicago /east Chicago area we are going to stop again. So worth it.

“The food here is delicious! The menu is huge. If you’re wanting something a little lighter you can opt for a yummy chicken chop salad. We ended up getting the Italian beef and the Ruben. Both are excellent. The Ruben is the best Ruben I have ever eaten in my entire life hands-down you must get! We also had a vanilla shake and the large sizes are ginormous . The food servings are very generous, everything is very shareable. They even have an area where you can grab a beer if you’d like. The restaurant has a large sitting area and there is a covered back patio. Service is excellent and the restaurant very clean. A great place to stop!“

The ovens might have changed from what I was told, but still good food was had. 1989 was the 1st time had ever had.“
