“My favorite place to get Chinese food! I’ve tried soooo many different places and keep coming back to this location whenever I visit my dad’s place in the burbs. I live in the city now and have tried many places there as well, but wish there was a Chen’s like this near my place. The food here is fresh, high quality, filled with flavor, good texture and never fails to make me full with the portions they give. I still have leftovers for the next few days!“

“Been going here since 1994. They were the best for a long time. Then something changed. For at least the last 15 years the food just doesn't taste that good. Keep going back every once n awhile to give another chance, but it's just not good. This will probably be the last time going here. It's a shame. They used to be sooo good! When everyone loved Lang Lee in Orland, I told them Dragon Palace blows them out of the water, way better.“

“Bamboo garden is a hidden gem inside of a first I almost passed it by well, I'm glad I didn't. This place has been a local gem ever since Number One Chop Suey in Oak Forest closed this is. My new go-to for Chinese food. I had the chicken walnut dinner spicy and my friend had beef. Broccoli, both dishes were very good. The restaurant itself was clean. However, they did seem a bit unexpectedly short-staffed for our visit. I would go back. I would recommend it to local friends.“

“I have been coming here for years and Ruma Izakaya remains my favorite Japanese spot in the area. From the sushi to the entree’s, sides, incredible miso soup, and smoothies, Runa Izakaya wins my heart and my stomach over every time! Great flavor and perfect temperature and wow, the service we received was amazing by our waiter, JULIA. She was the absolute sweetest and made our experience 10 times better. I had not been to this location but myself and my husband were blown away and will be back. My kids and whole family loved it and even forgot to take pics. “First time ordering from this place and I was surprised when I was in their menu Chinese BBQ ribs! They were tender and well seasoned. The rice with chicken was great you don’t need any additional side with it since the rice itself is delicious.“

“Great little spot for take out or quick dine in and relax so far my meals have been delicious. The sweet and sour chicken and red sauce is good. The tofu with mixed vegetables is absolutely delicious. The spring rolls are good and so is the egg rolls. The plain fried rice is ok if I wasn't cheap and added meat id be more happy but delicious food and we are back for second round now will update later.

“My favorite Chinese restaurant and the most authentic in the suburbs. Our favorite dishes are the roast duck and double pan fried noodles which is the closest I've been able to find to my grandma's Cantonese cake noodles in all of Chicagoland.“

“I love this place, DO NOT GO TO MOES, Li's uses a variety of vegetables in their food where as MOES does not use anything but celery. So if you want to get your moneys worth and get good Chinese food with amazing portion sizes go here! The protein is always cooked properly, they do not use a whole bottle of soy on their rice like most places which is good, they seem to use low sodium and little to non MSG. SO HERE!“

“I don't want to lie. Their food was the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. The egg Foo Young was slightly spoiled bean sprouts were not fluid fresh more like celery sitting out month. Yuck. “Been wanting to try this place for the past year and a half. Finally had dinner there. I love good Chinese food but am very picky where I eat it from. This was the best Chinese food I've had in a very long time. Served hot znd was high quality meat and vegetables that were fresh. It was actually clean there too which is rare to see anymore. I will definitely go back in the future.“

Walking in, you're welcomed by two doors. The outer door slams, leaving you with a jolt of fright and embarrassment. The inner door opens you to what can be described as a small ma and pop shop with two visible tables and 4 seats each; making this a carryout spot but, leaving you with a seat or two if you're on lunch and looking to rest for a bit while eating. I'm pretty sure this was the first time I've eaten food from this restaurant but I am certain, after tonight, it won't be the last.

When it comes to eating Chinese cuisine, I usually have to prepare myself for sodium overload. That wasn't the case here. Every dish prepared for us was cooked perfectly. I could actually taste the other flavors they cooked into their food aside from salt which I've come to associate with most food from Chinese restaurants I've eaten at. The Orange Chicken was also really really good but, diabetics beware, it is extremely sweet; so make sure you have that insulin pen ready for after your meal. I should also mention that their food portions are very generous.

One other thing of note: I scheduled my food to be ready 30 minutes before my arrival. I showed up 5 minutes early and they were still cooking my order. The owner explained to me that they made sure to cook the food as close to the time of arrival as possible to make sure it's still hot by the time I got home with it; given that I show up on time. Most places just cook and let it sit until you show up so I think that was really cool of them.

All in all, I really enjoyed their food and if you're looking for a small ma and pop place that values good and fresh food, you've hit the nail on the head here.“

“Pretty Good! I had the Singapore Noodles and Crab Rangoon. I really liked the veggies in the noodles, however it wasn't alot of chicken and shrimp throughout. Also ordered beef fried rice. 3 items..$37.00. They are a bit pricey! Definitely have a lot of leftovers.“

“One of my favorite Chinese places. The eggrolls are the best here. They are crispy, savory, sweet and always super fresh and hot. The Mongolian beef never has any weird chewy pieces and the sauce is always really flavorful with a little kick.“

“I have been a customer of Double Dragon now for over 10 years the food is some of the best Chinese food I've ever tasted they have a nice quiet cozy dining area but most of their business is take out and delivery and the young lady and the gentleman that run it are very good workers and very helpful when they deliver they always give you a time but always deliver earlier than what they say

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. My son even ordered Spider rolls and said they were amazing! My two teens and 1yr old enjoyed it immensely! Thank you all for the great celebration. We will be back for sure!!! “The place is nice and clean. The food was great. The server was this small chinese dude he needs to be a little more friendly for his position. not to mention, he has a language barrier but does understand "more water" and other request apparently bc, he use to people.

Parking: The parking lot is for all of the businesses in the strip mall. Like going to walmart or any mall.

Kid-friendliness: It appears that children would be fine in this establishment. Yes, i can't wait to go back there. You get a nice portion, I know when dining in.

“The food is legit. I get the beef fried rice, extra spicy with a large shrimp and lobster sauce. The shrimp and lobster sauce is the darker sauce so it’s a good one. They told me 25 minutes but it took about 35 minutes for the food which was fine because it came out piping hot. I’m waiting in my car and the woman brought it out to me. This is my go to Chinese food place even though it’s about 20 minutes from my house.

“They have great luncheon specials with generous portions and a free egg roll. I love hot and spicy dishes; my favorite is Kung Pao Beef which has a ton of flavor (nice heat), a lot of beef, peanuts and very tasty fried rice. I also like their Shrimp Egg Foo Yung. The other reviewer here is totally wrong. Either he needs to add soy sauce or maybe he was going through chemotherapy and had lost his sense of taste. Their service is also terrific and if you phone in your order ahead of time it will be piping hot ready for pickup iun about 15 minutes within 15 minutes.“

You can tell everything's fresh made because there are variations to the ingredients, but ultimately it's all the same.“

“I order from this spot all the time for delivery. Ordering over the phone is easy and quick, delivery is even quicker. I'm a big fan of the lunch specials and recently tried the pepper steak and shrimp in lobster sauce. This is a great easy takeout option with really good portions.
