“My friend and I stopped in at Firewater BBQ in Elmhurst on Thursday Dec. 1st for the "Granny's Lunch Box Special" which is available daily from 11AM-2PM. This was my second visit and my friend's first at Firewater. We both ordered the Angus beef brisket sandwich with a side of 3 cheese Mac & Cheese and a soda. The brisket (smoked for 22 hrs) is amazingly tender and flavorful. It was piled high on a toasted brioche bun and is served with your choice of sweet or spicy BBQ sauce or both if you like. The Mac & Cheese is sooo silky-smooth and creamy and compliments the brisket quite well. There are complimentary pickled jalapeños and sweet & spicy pickles available as well. My friend was so impressed by this amazing brisket that he placed another exact order to go to bring home. The cashier who also took our order was very friendly and polite. We told one of the chefs, Shawn, (pictured) that we really enjoyed the brisket and complimented his skills. My friend and I will both be returning to Firewater BBQ and we'll definitely be letting our family and friends know about this wonderful BBQ spot.“

“Top tier bbq, even better customer service. I placed an online order for delivery for my family dinner and got a notification that the food was picked up and on the way. I live fairly close to the restaurant so I was surprised when I saw that the delivery driver (third party service) was in a different town and my ETA kept getting longer and longer. I called the restaurant and told them about the issue and actually ended up being put on with The owner Joey. This guy ended up repacking my order and hand delivering it himself!!! Great guy. 10/10 bbq 10/10 customer service.“

“Bbq + tacos, yes please. BBQ Chicken Taco with pico de gallo, cilantro, Pulled Pork Taco caribbean salsa, pico de gallo & spicy lime aioli and Brisket Burnt Ends Taco with chimichurri, slaw and cilantro. At $3.50 to $4.00 a taco, they were small. But they were tasty. #spicemeister approved.“

“What an excellent eating experience!! The waiter was friendly and seemed to anticipate our requests. It was my first time in a Korean restaurant and I was glad that my son accompanied me and explained the various foods and choices. It was SO comfortable and enjoyable! The food was AMAZING! “This was a welcome surprise. My family and I would frequent the location in Bolingbrook when it was around. After they closed we figured no other locations would be near us. We happened to be in the area yesterday and saw this location pop up in maps while searching for someplace to eat. As indicated this location is carry out only. We placed the order online and it was actually ready a few minutes before the time given. The staff that we interacted with were friendly. I gave the atmosphere a 5 even though it was carry out only but the restaurant it was in looked 5 star. I was going to complain about the pricing but we were actually pleased with the amount of food we got for the price point. I gave a 4 for the food because while the ribs were excellent the chicken was mushy and sides were fair but not great and I remember the mac n cheese being more palatable than what we got. I would definitely order from here again but not include the chicken in that order.“

“My fiancé and I have been a gyro war. I’m a Skokie Dengeos girl and he’s a diehard Squabs fan. While it’s hard to compete with childhood memories after trying Squabs I totally get it. The gyro was perfectly cooked, the tzatziki was beautiful, the fries were delicious. The absolute standout was the customer service. I was having such a bad day. I confused the gyro plate with the gyro dinner and they took such good care of me. I had cried the whole ride over and left with the biggest smile and a plate of leftovers. 10/10 I will be coming back every chance I get.“

“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! Highly recommend!!“

“Tribute in Villa Park is the coziest, quirky little night spot around! Tribute is not way off the beaten path located across the street from the Villa Park Historical museum and the Illinois Prairie Path.
When you're inside Tribute you just feel at home and you get a neighborly backyard party kind of feeling.
The staff is super friendly and they have a fun trivia night on Wednesdays.
There's a spacious outdoor patio and a cozy banquet/ meeting room with floor to ceiling windows that makes you feel like your outdoors.
