“We had reservations for 6:30pm on a Thursday night. At the time of reservation we requested a quiet table because we had my 78yr old father who has hearing aids and loud noise makes it difficult for him. When we entered the restaurant there was a band right to the side of the door. The hostess brought us to a table at the far back of the restaurant but it didn't matter where you were seated; it was loud. Whether you were 78, 48 or 18 the band was loud and made it hard to have a conversation, especially when ordering from our waitress. Because of the loud band our waitress didn't hear our food order correctly and brought out wrong plates of food. She apologized and did what she could to make it right. I don't think we'll be coming back for dinner when there is a band in this small establishment, unless we plan to just hang at the bar for a drink.“

“Attended a per wedding event. There were 30 persons in attendance. The salad, bread, fresh green beans were great. Along with the beef . I was surprised as the restaurant is known for their seafood, the honey glazed salmon tasted very fishy.“

“Really enjoyed our visit to MBC. Our bartender, Christian, was spot on. She answered my many questions quickly and correctly. A small mix-up in my order was remedied immediately. Good draft selection. (32 0z. option, mmm). Cheese curd sampler outstanding. The two of us almost couldn't eat more. Glad we did, though. Double patty smash burger, yummy. Three bacon choices, yummy. (Think large Steak and Shake, but GOOD). Fresh cut fries, battered fries, and tons of menu choices. Will be back.“

“I’ve been on their first customers from the reopening after Covid . Brought a lot of people there . The entire of the USS NEW JERSEY got to know about this place because the jersey is directly next to it . It became me go to hang out spot . Great patio. View of Lake Michigan especially during fall and winter. Sorry to hear the food truck is gone but Patrice does a great job with the limited menu specials . Always a great experience with her . Today I leave Great Lakes permanently and I will miss it and the people I’ve gotten to know there . A more mature crowd , more peaceful and less annoying environment a as we all huddled to this place for the same reason after a long and possibly stressful day on“

“😀Great food, however, the “build your own burger“was a disappointment. The onions tasted bitter and very salty. I got the worst case of heartburn from this burger! OMG. Otherwise, everything else is top quality! Be careful when ordering this “build your own burger.”🍔 I’ve never tasted onions so bad, and seem to be imbedded into the meat that tasted so bitter and awful salty. “The best fried chicken I have had since my mom's fried chicken. Tastes exactly like fresh home fried chicken, not reheated from frozen, but fried to perfection. 🥰😋 Delicious!“

“🍔🍺 Stopped by Mickey Finn’s Brewery to grab a burger and enjoy a beer. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it’s a great little local spot to hang out. Unfortunately, the service was slower than expected, with the beer taking a while to arrive and refills coming pretty late as well. The burger was decent, although the fries were a bit overcooked. 😊 Overall, it was an okay experience with a nice vibe, but there’s definitely some room for improvement before I’d give it five stars.“
