“The 1st hour was terrific. We were celebrating our anniversary. Then a very loud group of four were seated right behind us. They obviously had been in the bar before coming to dinner. The remainder of our time was spent in silence since we couldn't hear each other. No fault of the restaurant or staff. Just self absorbed rude customers.“

They are the best around, if you ask for them extra crispy they are very accommodating and do it with no issue! I’ve slowly started to explore the menu because you can never miss with the tots! “The staff have been really rude to me ever since I pointed out that my tab was wrong and I was overcharged. I wasn't upset about the double charges, I just wanted them corrected. I've barely been waited on since then it seems. I tried to step in a help once when a patron had been over served. It wasn't welcomed at all. I was given the same look as I get when I walk up to the bar to get a drink. Too bad, it's really close to home to me. I haven't been in over a year and have no plans on returning.“

The menu had a lot of reasonably priced options for food as well. 4 stars because one of our old fashioneds was served with a vibrant red cherry that had a pit in it. So it wasn’t the usual luxardo cherry that I am used to having.
I also love that there is an overwalk that connects you to Santo Cielo.“

“Stopped in with a friend after a metra ride. Hung out at this establishment while we waited for my phone to charge up and for Uber to come. Typical mixed bar of locals and commuters. Sports oriented. Did not check out the menu. We just ordered a beverage. Wait staff was kind, cheerful, and attentive. They have a nice patio as well. A great place to relax as you wait for a train or a great place to unwind after a day downtown and long train ride.“

“We went here for a Friday night fish fry. We did carry out but they are open to the public. Fried cod, baked potato and coleslaw. Myhusband liked the fish alot but said it needed a little lemon or something to spice it up. I had fried shrimp which were very large with a baked potato and coleslaw. The coleslaw was not that great, but we enjoyed the rest of the meal alot. I would recommend this place for a good inexpensive fish fry.“

“The local craft beer selection is diverse enough to satisfy basically any beer fan. I loved the bacon and jalapeño mac and cheese, and I want to take bottles of the fried pickle dipping sauce home! The bartender Jim was very knowledgeable and handled a very busy bar extremely well. I'm looking forward to my next visit!“

“I've traveled around a LOT selling my wears and no place I've ever been has good hotel food, except here. Every year I always buy food from them. Super yummy and you get a lot of food for a decent price. This is the one time I don't have to worry about bringing food because they have options for all. “Poor service and horrible beer. I ordered a brew dog hazy IPA and the waitress brought me some kind of red ale which is clearly not a hazy IPA. See attachment for what the beer should look like and what they brought me. Waitress does nothing to remediate the situation. Never seen such a poorly run business. Staff have bad attitudes and beer was definitely not right. Maybe it was spoiled or they substituted a cheaper product. Do not go here.“

“Love this place. Food and beverages are overpriced and they can crank up the a/c more otherwise I absolutely love the vibe and the staff is friendly. Definitely a classier jazz club. Not your average nightclub at all. The place is filled with nostalgia. Highly recommend! Note: the cover charges can be a little steep. Paid $15 just the other week. Still though, 2+ hours of live music and dancing is worth it to me given the atmosphere.“

“I hired B'n Chingon for a party recently and they provided superior service and absolutely delicious food. The set up, cooking, serving and clean up were seamless. I didn't have to lift a finger and could just enjoy the party and my guests. The food was expertly prepared and at a very reasonable cost. I received multiple compliments.“

I recommend this place 100%, the drinks are good, the bartenders are friendly, and the Viper Burger was our favorite. Alan is an awesome guy with a great sense of humor.
