“Stopped by finally to try the pork steaks, unfortunately for me they sold out right before our visit (but a very good problem to have). We pivoted and tried the turkey and brisket…dee lish shush! The Mac n cheese was creamy but the potato salad…try it! We will make the trip again, 100%, to chase the famous pork steaks😉”

“Great Coffee and breakfast items. The place is small and the wait is well worth it. We stopped by while visiting my parents in Waterloo and will be back when we are up in the area again.”

“I used to go here once sometimes twice a week when I lived in town while I was a traveling nurse. As someone who’s lived all over the country this is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to, and great service! Keep up the good work!! Much love from Maine!”

“after finding you online & reading the great reviews, we decided to celebrate our 44th Wedding Anniversary there tonight. Even though you were busy at 6:30, the service & all of our food, including appetizers were exceptional! My husband wanted me to leave a great review & he has never done that before. We definitely plan on going back!”

“Crazy Train is a very friendly and fun restaurant. Yes, it's rustic, but that's a bonus because it's always a welcoming place. It's always been clean too. You can't go wrong.”

“They are soooo nice! We were in the area and just wanted to some ice cream. We arrived a little early, right before they opened and they welcomed us. We were able to sample the ice cream. Oh and they had a childhood favorite flavor, Superman. The ice cream shop is adorable and the ice cream is off the chart good! We will definitely be back for more.”

“Will come back, if only for the pie lol.
First impression: We parked across the street due to pulling a trailer, like the vehicle near us. The parking lot was pretty full. Parking in front. Table available immediately. Ten tables for four, a single, and one for six. Covered for tables. Cute little Waterloo town historic photos on wall.
Menu is short, easy to read and understand, and laid out well; but plenty of variety. Priced right for the food and portions.
Food was served quickly and served at right temperature.
We ordered: Fried clam strips and sides of onion rings and coleslaw. He thought clam strips were tasty and liked them. I thought they were slightly on the dark side and a bit chewy. Onion rings have a crunchy breading and yellow onions are used. The coleslaw was a unique recipe; instead of mayonnaise, oil was used and pepper added. It was different than regular slaw and we found it really good. (I’m picky about slaw and cringe a little each time I try it someplace new.)
I ordered the Philly cheese steak and slaw. Got to say, perfect amount of meat with mozzarella shredded cheese, small diced onions green pepper and the bread was a treat. I needed mayo on it to moisten it up, and asked for a side of shredded cheese (of which they were very generous about), and voila ! it was an amazing sandwich.
For dessert we ordered cherry pie. It was fantastic. Crust tasted homemade, and though it had canned cherries(of course, a restaurant doesn’t have time to do otherwise!) you would never know it. It was made perfectly and had a sweet crumble topping. More please and thank you!
Service was friendly and she was a good waitress, however we were at lunchtime and she had seven tables. We realized she was busy and felt free to voice our needs, like refills etc. she was good, but couldn’t give 5 stars because she was the only waitress and it was a little too much for her to keep up with the tables AND cashiering.
It is rare I give five stars, so that says something. If you are near here or local, I recommend Family Kitchen.”

“Had stayed away forever because, come on…Casa Romero. We were going to go back to our norm (which in all honest, had been mediocre at best the last handful of times). Of course, we couldn’t get on the parking lot, so I decided to roll the dice. I am so happy we did. This is our new home for Mexican food. The service, the food, the drinks, the cleanliness of the building, the bathrooms…the ample parking…I cannot wait to go back and enjoy the insanely good quesabirria tacos again.”

“Uncle John's RRR Bar, or triple R, has a great atmosphere. It's normally a diverse crowd, ages are a pretty even mix between 21-50+. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Don't sleep on the smash burgers, they are amazing, and the kitchen is open late.”
