“My go-to coffee is from the Little Creperie. I used to be a starbucks drinker, and now I can’t ever go back to it after tasting the quality of Little Creperie’s coffees. “This is my first time here, and I have to say I absolutely love the atmosphere! It is so pretty inside and it's so clean. The staff was super nice.
The only negative thing that I could say was that it did take a long time to get the food even though we were the only ones in there and for what we bought it was really expensive. I thought we were going to get these like full sandwiches and they were these little tiny bitty appetizers.
We also ordered drinks the refreshers and they were so good. I highly suggest to get them with water not with lemonade because they are very sweet. But my first time there and I definitely will be going back. Also you can sign up for points and earn free food.

Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“I usually come here once a week when I work from home. I live a block down, so this is a very convenient place. I sometimes get a sandwich or empanada or an iced coffee. But, what I get every
time is their deserts. Frankly, I do not have a sweet tooth, but this place is the exception for that. I always get their tres leches cake and that is my least favorite desert usually, so this is saying something. They had a horchata tres leches cake last year that was SO GOOD and I'm really hoping that comes back soon. They also have different types of cheesecakes (which is my fav desert) so I've tried those too. They usually switch them around, so depending on when you go, they may have them or not. I've tried the Oreo and Reese's Pieces, which were good, but they had a lemon meringue cheesecake and man.... sooooo gooooood. Haven't seen it there in a few weeks, so I'm hoping it makes a comeback soon. I've only eaten in there a couple of times and it's a good vibe. Staff is super friendly and I don't have anything to complain about.“

“My family and I cannot get enough of Alisha's cakes. Her tres leches is the best ever. We typically get the Oreo tres leches for our birthdays now. Everyone asks for Alisha's cakes for their birthdays. The cake is dense and rich so we usually serve smaller slices (but people will go back for seconds).“

The server noticed they didn't each much of their sandwich and banana and brought them complimentary rice and beans which they ate a TON of (to my surprise). The husband-and-wife team are so amazing, we go out of our way once a year to when we are in Chicago to go there for breakfast. Mimi in the front of the house remembers what we like to the person for all five of us. The prices are on the low side and the portions generous. Two things stand out though the repartee with Mimi tops the list, but the nuanced flavors bring back memories of how my mother made it. Eating here is more than getting a great breakfast at a good price, it’s a step back, in time and attitude. It is a full-on experience. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. “One of my fav breakfast spots to go to. The fact that they give me a whole pitcher of water and coffee makes my experience the best. I don’t have to wave down a waiter for coffee or water continuously. Instead I have it at my fingertips at my leisure. I don’t know why more restaurants do this. The servers are always great. “After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer.
