He offered 2nd helpings (my only regret is that I did not indulge on that offer). Our meal was plentiful, delicious and presented beautifully! The bartenders cocktails (garnished w/ fresh flowers!) are pure elegance and his customer service skills are excellent! The drag show was a blast! The music was a hit (inside and out) and the upscale atmosphere will always have me anxiously waiting to come back soon! Freddy’s is like I went back to 1990’s St.Calistus St.Joseph’s table. Stop in the Food Service and Establishment all live up to its promises. You can not have a bad meal here.

The fried hearts of palm were tasty and crunchy, the mac and cheese was creamy and not too heavy, the sweet potatoes were Thanksgiving-y, and the greens did their job. And the hibiscus and ginger tea I ordered was delicious! I just wish it was less than a 40-minute drive for me, but what can you do?“

Everyone of the invitees raved about the quality of the food , the presentation , timeliness , and the competency of the staff . “I can’t say enough great things about this place, I make a stop every chance I get! I’ve tried nearly everything, but the Kale scones are amazing! The coffee drinks are great and delicious. I’m a full time working mom, and my parents who watch my baby while I work said the only payment they need is a box of broken tart pastries! The people there are great, they really work as a team and are super efficient. Saturdays beware though, people are lined up, and for good reason!“

“What a great family restaurant. We were in Elmhurst and not familiar with the area and I saw the High View Family restaurant in Villa Park on Trip Advisor. Loved it. We like the Greek owned American restaurants in my neighborhood. Mini mall parking lot and some handicapped parking. Went in to two large rooms, very clean and welcoming. Sign at front desk had 4 different kinds of soup. Our waitress was Aleka and she was excellent and was very attentive. Need extra napkins, water refill, didn't even have to ask, she was right on it. I had the chicken noodle soup and chicken sandwich and fries and my son had a chicken bacon one that we both liked. Left a tip and paid by the door. Would go again if in the area.“
