if ur an adult all the teenagers come here and it’s super crowded, it took me 20 mins to get my order.
They had 3 people behind the bar kudos to them.
To be fair it’s the first day that they released the winter drinks but omg I had to say excuse me several times just to get through.“

Not just pierogi ---Gelato, soups, empanadas, tamales, pizza pie (takes 50 mins to make from scratch and worth it!!) Premium Belgium chocolates, shakes, Coffee and most recent.....160 (yes one hundred and sixty) different premium teas from around the world!!.....and more to come! They also own the tea room and book store next to the cafe. Owners are THE BEST! Welcoming, personable and humorous. Dinning outside available and pups are welcome! “Cute little coffee shop across from portage park! Decent street parking nearby & indoor / outdoor seating options. I got a seasonal oat nog latte & it was fantastic! I also got a vegan chocolate muffin which was great too, very moist & rich. They also had a vegan trail mix scone and sometimes have locally made cookies. Lots of fun drink choices that can be made vegan. Highly recommend!“

“The largest of the BlackBerry Market installations and the one I gravitate towards the most; while both the Glen Ellyn and LaGrange locations are charming, the Oak Brook building is more impressive, with higher ceilings, a gorgeous amount of light due to the ample windows, and a great mix of different seating options. I’ve been to BlackBerry market to simply grab a quick bite after running errands in the area, but I’ve also come here with a larger group of friends for relaxed brunch. No matter the occasion, I’ve never been disappointed with the food! It hits every time— my special shoutout goes to the Italian Wedding Soup, as well as the Chicken Avocado Club! I always gravitate towards those dishes and they never let me down.“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

“what a great coffee shop!! I am visiting from Portland, OR and obviously have an obnoxious pretention about coffee... Vigo coffee is absolutely great. I've been looking for a good coffee shop to work from in oak park and this exceeds expectations. the coffee is SO GOOD, and I absolutely love that this coffee shop is set up as the most comfortable co-working space + art gallery (?!??!!). as if it couldn't get any better, we absolutely love the authentic Mexican culture and flavors available here. really great selection of savory and sweet baked goods that will keep you full and focused all day. I will definitely be back here to work whenever I'm in oak park.

“I’ve been going to Addis for the past 7 years and rarely skip a day… What drew me in was the very best tasting pour over that I’ve ever had and what keeps me coming back is the family feeling: from the friendly crew behind the counter to the local residents who make Addis a must have part of their daily routine, this place is well worth a try. “My wife, myself, and 2 young kids have been visiting Level Up Cafe & Lounge since they opened. The owners Shawn and Victoria do a great job. The staff is very friendly, they have delicious refreshing protein shakes, smoothies, food, and adult beverages. We absolutely love the atmosphere and free arcade with purchase. There are always young children there whom our kids are always playing with. It’s a great social, playful, and friendly place to be. We highly recommend Cafe Level Up & Lounge for a fun night out!!“

“I am pretty critical of boba as there are so many places that pop up and fall short. I was honestly very impressed with palgong and have nothing but good things to say.
1) we arrived an hour before closing, and the tapioca was still fresh with a good chew (already winning in my book!)
2) they had a great selection of flavors, but more importantly, they offered the classic flavors like regular milk tea which had the perfect amount of ice & sweetness.
3) the Korean corn dogs are made in house which I thought was so cool! They are 100% beef which is appreciated since I don’t eat pork. It was fried to perfection and dressed with yummy sauces.
4) they had some fun activities, there was a wall of claw machines that you could buy tokens to play and another side that had some free family games like jenga and connect four.
5) Lastly, and one of the most important points; it was very clean inside like surprisingly clean. The tables did not have crumbs or anything sticky, the bathroom was spotless.
I love when establishment pays attention to large & small details, it is very aesthetically decorated . I will definitely be back when I’m in the area and highly recommend to anyone looking for some good bubble tea!

“Visiting from Ohio. We have great coffee shops in our home town so we are rather picky. Upon entry I got a cinnamon smell, not of coffee. My husband ordered ‘la toxica’ and he said it was made with authentic horchata. I had the mazapan latte and it was so good.l was pleasantly impressed that it was not overly sweet but had the rich peanut flavor. Glad to have found this place close to our lodging!“
