“Been here a handful of times ..
The pizza is th Star !!
Last few times the food was not as on par with the first 3-4 times.
Staff was slow and food was slow.
The first few times i went was when they first opened.

“I've been craving Malnati's for several months knowing I'd be flying in for a quick work trip. I did a maps search and found this store closest to Oak Brook and my hotel. A friend agreed to drive 45 minutes to meet me.

The store seems new but was almost empty at 7:00. I couldn't believe it! The service was subpar. It took a very long time to order, get drinks, and get our pizza. The salad came out fairly quick. Then when I paid I saw the server carrying my card and Bill around the restaurant for at least 5 minutes talking to other tables before he went and processed it. I was tired from traveling and wanted to go to my hotel, but we couldn't leave! If I'm right and this is a new store, they have some clinks to work out.“

We had an appetizer, a custom pizza, and a few rounds of drinks, and everything was delicious. Not a single note. “OUTSTANDING gluten free pizza. Truly the best gluten free pizza in all the land. We ordered the gluten free spinach, artichoke & ricotta white pizza for dinner last night and it was amazingly delicious. Ingredients and crust were so fresh and so flavorful. Top notch service as well. This is my new favorite spot for gluten free pizza; and a wonderful, local business to support. “By far the best Italian place for breakfast,lunch and dinner !! The atmosphere here is the best from the cashiers to whoever serves you your food ! Ann Marie was the sweetest I came when I was 8 months pregnant and ate everything!! From a meatball sandwich to the chicken limón to everything else my husband ordered off the menu !! Ann Marie made me feel the best straight out of the hospital this day!! She gave me a good long list of baby names that I will appreciate forever !! I cannot wait until my baby boy gets a taste of this place !!! If I can rate this 10 stars I would ! ❤️“

“Slyce wings review

I Checked out the new wings offered at Slyce.

I ordered the mango habanero (6pc) and honey bbq (10pc) a slice of pizza while waiting for the rest of the group to arrive…and I’m glad I did. Bc the rest of the guys came, ordered, got their food before the wings arrived. Took atleast 20 min for the wings for dine in.

The wings were cut so drummette were separate from the flats. So 1 anatomical wing is considered 2 pcs.

The pcs were on the small size. Nice presentation. The wings were very hot (temp wise) since we were dining in. There skin had a nice crunch. Not overly bread coated. Minimal fat under the skin which I prefer. Generous amount of flavor sauce. Comes with a cup of ranch

Mango habenero flavor was on great. Not overly spicy. Good tang/kick to it. Spicy bbq is bbq sauce with red chilli peppers. Standard stuff.

Overall value is there. Would be better if the pieces were bigger. (I had the halal BWW a week ago as a comparison and those were almost double the size). Order ahead. And I believe if you eat them too late they become soggy. Which might be the case with any wings.

Overall I give these a solid 8.5/10. Will get again in the future.“

“I’m no stranger when it comes to Serbian food, since I have been to one Serbian restaurant and now 3 Serbian style cafés. The location can be easily missed if you don’t look closely, but it’s between J&C Modern Way Dry Cleaners and D’Pelos Salon. When you walk in, you order at the counter. They have 5 tables that you can sit at if you choose to dine in. I decided to go with some of their traditional bakery items like burek and mantije. I also ordered prosciutto cotto calzone. The owners were very nice and helpful. One of the owners offered me a piece of mantije to sample. Prices were extremely reasonable, they definitely give you a generous amount of food for your money.

-burek (meat) 5 - they have 3 different kinds, meat, cheese, and pizza. It had a flaky crust and the meat was very tender. If you have this for breakfast, it is filling but it’s good if you’re in a hurry.
-mantije (meat) 5 - kind of a miniature version of a burek but bite size. Crust is crunchy with a plentiful amount of meat in each piece. This was one portion.
-prosciutto cotto calzone 5 - you will have to be patient because it does take a little awhile to prepare and cook. I loved the big pieces of prosciutto and I like how the pesto just oozes out with each bite. The crust has a tasty, cheesy taste from the mozzarella.“

“I made an online order for 2 pastas and when my boyfriend brought the food home they didn’t add meatballs to the pasta. I called the restaurant and the guy who answered was extremely apologetic and super kind. I just wanted to write this review to praise this employee (we didn’t get his name, but he was working on Thursday May 1st around 4pm.) He went above and beyond and made sure to make it right. A lot of restaurants now a days have employees who simply don’t care and lack customer service and kindness, so it’s nice to have people who actually help out. We will continue to keep going back. A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in! Overall, an excellent experience, but with all the personnel exuding immense warmth and gracious hospitality. Definitely coming here OVER and OVER again!!! Yum!“

I assume the guy we spoke with was the owner & he was a super nice guy and said we wouldn’t be disappointed and we weren’t. We live close to downtown and the pizza was still good before we even warned it up!Next time we will be going in person to pick up to get it fresh out! Definitely good and they were not stingy. I do wish it was bigger. We ordered a XL and it was pretty small but other then that, we will return!“
