“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“Petite Vie was a total "find"! While looking on OpenTable for a dinner spot on Friday, I stumbled across a French restaurant that I didn't know existed. I mentioned it to a few friends and that Sunday we went to Western Springs to check it out. The place is bright, cheery and inviting. We sat at the bar and were waited on by Patrick; bartender, manager, entertainer! The cocktails were creative and awesome, the food (especially the Pork Chasseur) was outstanding and the entire staff was welcoming and helpful. I feel like French food is slowly disappearing from our area, and to find this wonderful place was really fortunate. Please do yourself a favor, book a table and enjoy Petite Vie!“

Tribute didn’t just feed me they seduced me. The BLT? Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, and toast so perfect it deserves its own fan club. Onion rings? Golden halos of happiness. Birria fries? A glorious, cheesy mess I’d gladly ruin a shirt for. Drinks? Smooth enough to make bad decisions taste good. Patio vibes? “After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. We have a little boy with Autism and it's not safe for him to sit in front by the busy street because he runs. “Our family loves coming to this location. We’re obsessed with anything pistachio here and the Dubai crepe and Dubai cup are amazing. The staff is always friendly. It does take a while for the order but I don’t mind the wait because the crepes are always warm when served.“

I don’t have to wave down a waiter for coffee or water continuously. Instead I have it at my fingertips at my leisure. I don’t know why more restaurants do this. The servers are always great. “My wife, myself, and 2 young kids have been visiting Level Up Cafe & Lounge since they opened. The owners Shawn and Victoria do a great job. The staff is very friendly, they have delicious refreshing protein shakes, smoothies, food, and adult beverages. We absolutely love the atmosphere and free arcade with purchase. There are always young children there whom our kids are always playing with. It’s a great social, playful, and friendly place to be. We highly recommend Cafe Level Up & Lounge for a fun night out!!“
