“My first time at the Modern Plate today. I was blown away by the beautiful dining and club room. The food is absolutely amazing and filling. The owner Ted is a very passionate man about his restaraunt, and I admire that. It absolutely shows that there is concern and care that goes into every corner of the Modern Plate. Now, I was here for an event in the club room, but rest assured, I WILL be coming here for just the dining experience and the food. I live about 50min away, but it is...THAT good. “Absolutely delicious! We ordered delivery from New Era. Food arrived quick and HOT! I ordered the Steak Huarache, my partner ordered a chicken quesadilla. He said it was the BEST quesadilla he’s ever had. Homemade tortillas, melty cheese, seasoned chicken - YUM! I had honestly never heard of a huarache until this restaurant opened. I had to try it - it was phenomenal! So delicious and full of flavor! Their red and green salsa is amazing! Definitely will order again and look forward to visiting in person!“

“We ate at Phase Three today at the recommendation of my doctor. And it did NOT disappoint. We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

“We love Five O Four. Their brunch is served from 8 AM until 3 PM and they do a fantastic job. The food quality is excellent. Our favorite meal is breakfast and they do it so well. We have yet to eat here for dinner, but the menu looks great. They’re open evenings from 5 to 8 or 10 weekends.“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

Went back second time with a relative, got the shrimp diablo......should have taken the server's advice about the heat, but I didn't, therefore I suffered 🥲 the consequence......she was awesome though and had the heat taken down for me. Owner came out to greet guests and was super sweet. This place is a hidden jewel that has some of the best Mexican food in the area. I would say take my word for it, but being that you probably don't know me, don't take my word for it, go try it for yourself!!“

“Our server, Dee(?), was amazing! Great recommendations and she anticipated all of our needs. The food was top notch, as well. Started with the flaming cheese fondue served with fresh focaccia bread. Yum! I had the Surf and Turf and my husband had the Grouper. Both were perfectly prepared and the sides were delicious. Cocktails were fantastic and their Bourbon choices were great for an after dinner pour. We finished with their blueberry cheesecake and devoured every crumb! “Wooden Paddle for the win! I have a pretty serious dairy allergy (weird that I chose to come to a pizza place, I know), but I saw that they had a cashew dairy free ricotta option. I figured it would be worth a try! Since developing my allergy, I haven’t been able to indulge in a pizza that tastes anywhere similar to a “real pizza”, but let me tell you that Wooden Paddle served me the best dairy free pizza I have ever had. It seriously almost brought tears to my eyes, lol! My choice was the pepperoni pizza and I felt like the dairy free ricotta really complimented it well. It is not often that you find a place that has owners so invested in the quality of their products. I was immediately sold when they said there was no seed oils, they only sell organic sodas, and their food is quality. I’m so excited to come back.

“This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides: no free coffee in the morning, a bit noisy at night, and the mattress is so comfortable, it makes me realize how uncomfortable my mattress is at home!“

It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. You won't be disappointed!“

From the extremely friendly wait staff, amazing food that is cooked exactly the way you want it(even if you have a specific request!), and the owner that is more than willing to go out of his way to ensure your time at his restaurant is memorable…by the time you leave you are extremely full and feel like a part of the Capri family. We are not local but we will most definitely be making a special trip back just to have dinner at this restaurant!“
