“The first time I ever went, I went with a few friends that recommended it to me. I usually don’t like milk tea, but kopa had a smoothie option that I absolutely loved. The boba was chewy but I liked it. When I went for the first time I got to write on the chalkboard and that was a happy experience for me being able to have someone read what I wrote and have a better day. Every time I get the chance to go, I go. This place gives me exceptional drinks that I absolutely love and good vibes whenever I go. I have never had a bad experience here and I would recommend this place to anyone I meet. The staff here have been so kind to me and will take full responsibility if my drink was made wrong. I love going here and would 10/10 guide someone to this amazing place.“

“The ice cream is fantastic, the only downside is the service is kind of mid. They sometimes take forever because they’re always understaffed but the food does not disappoint! They always are asking to tip on their computer though which is super annoying considering they just stare you down while you are on the machine. All the menu items are diverse and I prefer the marshmallow, strawberry banana, and strawberry chocolate ice cream!! Also all their teamonades are super good!!! I prefer raspberry, peach, and lychee. They also sometimes add the actual fruit and a lemon piece into the drinks. The ambiance is kind of meh, it’s a very bright atmosphere but with empty and big spacing around the seats. Sometimes when it’s busy there’s not enough space to even enjoy your treat, but I love the ice cream and drinks! “

“This place is really cute. I wanted some bubble tea and I found it first on maps. There was an odd smell when I walked in but it was very clean. No one was there but there was a little kiosk to order. I put in my order and sat down. They got me my order within 5 mins and I left. The boba was soft and sweet and the tea was Sweet and nice. I wouldn't go out of my way to get to this store but if I'm in the area and I want some bubble tea, I'll stop by.“

“The owners deliver pure magic to both children and adults alike! It truly is a happy place, you can feel it as soon as you walk in. The Peach smoothie was excellent and I look forward to trying more, there were many sorbets and ice cream flavors to choose from. The creations in ice cream that we received were works of art and joy. Highly recommended from a local parent’s social media group and delivered 100%! We will definitely work this into our routine. “Absolutely a treat to have this place in Glenview. They have a location off Glenview Road but are also in The Glenview Park Center and a Evanston location. Whether you are health conscious, have good allergies or just like to try different thing... the staff and owner is sooo informative. They know all about their ingredients and products. They have seasonal items too and holiday themed too. Love the Smoothies, he wide varieties of available bowl and oatmeal bowl, great soups with cheesy waffle is a must. The spinach waffle is awesome and the banana bread waffle is a must to try! Also great detox beverages! You can find fresh pressed juice as well. Worth the extra few dollars for truly high quality ingredients and superior service. They also have a strong wifi if you want to do some work or just hang out and play a game of connect or arcade game or read. This spot is a must to visit. They do dine in, take-put and delivery.“

“This place was great. We stopped in this morning I had the green bowl & the Oreo donut. I have no idea how he got the bowl of the base so light & airy. Normally bowls are dense, it was not at all, I really enjoyed it. Husband got the peanut lovers shake. It was all so good. It was filling & satisfying. The setup is great, loved the post it note wall.The owner was super friendly & welcoming. He said he’d been in business one year, hope he has many more years of success. He has a great shop.Dietary restrictions: I’m soy & dairy intolerant & there were plenty of options on the menu for me to enjoy.“

“Food was very good. I ended up with chilaquiles (with chicken breast) and my friend got the pupusas and dobladas. Really solid, and I appreciate the subtle differences in flavors between the Guatamalan dishes and standard Mexican fare. However, only 4/5 because ordering (in English) was difficult. I tried to get grilled skirt steak and a green chicken enchilada (as a single item, listed that way on the menu) but what was originally brought out was 3 green chicken enchiladas. I explained the issue and thought it was clear but ended up getting brought the chilaquiles. My friend got his pupusas but the dobladas was not brought and had to be ordered again. The food was delicious and I'm not a picky eater so this wasn't a huge deal, but others that need to order a specific thing, in English, may have trouble. I will be back though, and I will brush up on my Spanish.“

The flavor was so rich and creamy, and you could really taste the freshness of the strawberries. The staff was super friendly and helped me pick the perfect flavor. “I saw this place online through a search in the area for healthy foods. The physical place is very nice. The atmosphere is great too! The menu is much larger and diverse than you would expect from a small healthy food establishment. The food tasted great! I had the avocado toast, see pic. The only issue I had was that I received a single piece of GF bread with the avocado and egg on top for $16! I expected at least twice this for the price. This was definitely less food than I expected for the money! I suggest they reconsider the portion size for that much money. Otherwise, I really liked the place!“

Ordered the healthy scrambler and it was full of flavor! Was so good and filling! My husband ordered the Latina skillet and thought it was rich and spicy! Generous portions!“

“Really appreciated the fact that the food is freshly prepared and comes out piping hot. The fries were really good, nicely seasoned and not greasy at all, actually a bit crunchy to perfection. The chicken sandwich and burger we ordered were really nicely flavored. Overall a nice lunch place when craving burger or chicken sandwich with a bit of a kick. We didn't try any drink so can't comment on the bobas they did look nice though.“

I will say though as a frequenter, the portions seem to be getting lesser and lesser over time and the prices keep getting higher and higher. It’s almost ridiculous how expensive it is. Their soups & chili, hot sandwiches and pastries are exceptional. The source organic chicken and fresh eggs from from Harrisons; bagels from Kauffman, different dairy and butter from Wagner Farm, pastries from Bennistons and etc. Truly a cool spot to read a book, work on your laptop or just sit with a friend and chat. They get into themed items for holidays and go out to decorate. Also have coordinated events too. Kathy the owner truly knows how to run a great establishment. Very kid friendly and excellent prides for the value of what you get. Plenty of parking and a block from the library, train station and a park. My only grip is that the bathroom need a little more attention. They also have a reward system too eirh gracious cash back and a drive thru. Also have gluten free option. Great variety of fresh items. Truly a gem to have in Glenview.“

“A well-needed casual cafe in Lake Forest outside of the typical Starbucks offerings. Great size, nice patio in the warmer months. Menu is pretty large. Coffee, smoothies, and pastries are fantastic (the cookies are quite decadent). Service is great - while you order at the counter, your food is brought to your table (and cleaned up afterwards)!My only gripe is that the entrees are pretty bland. Bagels are flavorless, sandwiches need more spreads/seasoning. It's like the don't use salt/butter or something.They are fine, but quite expensive for being mediocre. I guess you are paying for the service more than the food. 2 coffees, 2 breakfast sandwiches, and 1 pastry to share between my wife and I was close to $50 before tip...“

“Came here in the middle of the day during a weekday, so it was pretty empty. That also mean we got served very quickly. The store had a cute wall and seating along the wall, but no tables. So it might be a little awkward if you have a large group. The drinks were pretty good though, we got the brown sugar milk tea everything was decent. Definitely not the best boba I've had, but the pearls were decently chewy and the flavor was decently good. My friend enjoyed his smoothie as well. Overall a pretty solid boba place. I'd come back again.“

“I went here yesterday on my drive home from Michigan because I wanted my mom to try Tropical Smoothie Cafe. There was only one employee working and it was around the lunch hour, so there were quite a few people standing in line, myself included. The employee name was Quentin. This young man did an outstanding job from greeting people to making smoothies and did it all by himself. He worked as quickly and efficiently as he could and did a great job. I was very impressed and didn’t mind waiting over 15 minutes for my food and smoothie. The young man definitely deserves a raise or some recognition from the company.“

“I have visited this location multiple times and I am always greeted very well by the staff. I've tried the shakes and they are AMAZING!! It does not have a traditional protein powder taste that is bad, they are genuinely good! They have other options like coffees and teas that look great as well. The inside is well decorated and super cute. The only bad thing is their hours of operation are always changing so if you're planning on going, check out their Instagram to see what their hours that day is.
