“All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.

I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.

Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back“

“All other ramen pales in comparison to Chicago Ramen Annex. The Jiro style Ramen is amazing, the appetizers have been outstanding. The staff is super friendly and helpful.“

“My coworkers and I wanted to get some ramen and I will say ramen house was the right choice. We all loved the gyoza that we shared. Flavor and done’ness level was on point! I got the vegetarian ramen and enjoyed every bite and drop of soup. The service was a little slow which normally isn’t the case. “Santouka is probably the most popular option in the Mitsuwa food court: the line can get long at certain times of day.
Ramen menu offers three sizes for a range of appetites, along with combinations with small rice bowls topped with pork, fish, or other meat.
Customizations are limited compared to other local ramen shops, but a decent stop for food court dining. Noodles are thinner cut and not quite as chewy as I prefer. Egg is not soft boiled (ajitsuke tamago) if that is a deal breaker for ramen heads. :)

“Had an opportunity to visit this place again after 6 years during my trip to Chicago area. I have to admit I’m impressed that the flavor and the taste hasn’t changed.
Ordered spicy Hakaido ramen and the broth is so much rich and savory; it’s spicy but not overpowering. The noodles are cooked to perfection.

“We re glad to find this place. They have rice dish and ramen menu. We ordered regular champ ramen and spicy champ ramen for lunch..I love their broth, it was so rich and flavorful. I never tried ramen broth with seafood juice on it, usually its a pork or chicken broth. Surprisingly, I dont taste any hint of fishiness. It was so good! I also like their noodles. The portion is enough ( or maybe too much) for a person. I did not really care of the cabbage and carrot in the ramen. Next time I am back, i might ask if i can have it without veggies. They provide salad and hot green tea, water for complimentary..Will definitely be back again to try more of their menu!“

I say so because they have authentic items like Nira Tama and Kampyou Maki (both fabulous, by the way) that you won't see on the menu at other places. “This is a small, Mom and Pop location serving up sushi, ramen, rice bowls, and noodles. A simple but diverse menu of the dishes makes ordering easy. I had the Spicy Umami Miso Ramen. It's a dish or ground pork, white miso, noodles, veggies, a fish cake, and boiled egg. The broth was flavorful and balanced with mild heat. (Be warned, my mild heat can be very hot for some people...)The price was reasonable, the servings large, the service was efficient, and the place was clean.I will most definitely visit again, and I recommend this l9cation.“

“Ramen is one of our favorite meals. Ronin Spoon is our all time favorite. We're fortunately to be able to frequent RS and can enjoy their food. The ramen, its key is the broth. Theirs is the best we have tasted. With that base, the ramen of choice, Charshu, Ribs, etc will taste good.

We typically go for carry-out. If you are thinking about that, it works well since they use quality tupperware containers to store the food. Give it a try if carry-out works for you.

Oh, and one time we wanted a large carry out order. They didn't have some of the items we wanted, including running short of some ramen options, but they worked hard and with patience to help us with the other ordering options. Kudos.“

“Great Fresh Sushi. A very popular place, so expect a wait. But the staff is quick and attentive. Skilled chefs. One of few Sushi places that do not add extra rice as fillers to make the Maki or Sushi seem bigger. Bottom line ..... Good Food.“
