We have ordered Corn Paloma’s, Mole Pisco Sour and Aphrodite multiple times and always hits the spot. For constructive improvement, it can be slow to order as there’s only one person taking orders. Maybe one order only kiosk or one more person could make it more efficient as folks are waiting in line for 10 minutes. I also appreciate the family atmosphere, but there will be times screaming children are right in the middle of where patrons are dining and relaxing. I would recommend a specified area for the kids a bit further away from the main patrons but I understand the constraints of the space (might make more sense to have the kids play area near the food truck). “Petite Vie was a total "find"! While looking on OpenTable for a dinner spot on Friday, I stumbled across a French restaurant that I didn't know existed. I mentioned it to a few friends and that Sunday we went to Western Springs to check it out. The place is bright, cheery and inviting. We sat at the bar and were waited on by Patrick; bartender, manager, entertainer! The cocktails were creative and awesome, the food (especially the Pork Chasseur) was outstanding and the entire staff was welcoming and helpful. I feel like French food is slowly disappearing from our area, and to find this wonderful place was really fortunate. Please do yourself a favor, book a table and enjoy Petite Vie!“

“Went there for the 1st time last Saturday. The service and the food were both excellent. Amber was on top of everything and was very knowledgable about the menu items. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. The food was filling and kept us going until late afternoon. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Highland Village Texas location“

It’s right by all the shops in Oak Park and there’s usually paid parking or side street parking a block or so away. I recommend their matcha latte or a dark coffee. “Our family absolutely loves Bb's donuts! We do miss being able to go inside the donut shop. So many wonderful memories taking our little girl there to eat donuts and read a book or two. We have a little boy with Autism and it's not safe for him to sit in front by the busy street because he runs. Wish we could go inside to enjoy donuts & coffee knowing it's something our son would truly enjoy.“

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “The food here is amazing especially regarding how many gluten free dishes they have. They have the largest gluten free dessert menu I’ve ever seen! So many delicious options that I just keep coming back. They also have a modern, but warm atmosphere that is delightful. This place is clearly a hidden gem and a must try!“

I've been looking for a good coffee shop to work from in oak park and this exceeds expectations. the coffee is SO GOOD, and I absolutely love that this coffee shop is set up as the most comfortable co-working space + art gallery (?!??!!). as if it couldn't get any better, we absolutely love the authentic Mexican culture and flavors available here. really great selection of savory and sweet baked goods that will keep you full and focused all day. I will definitely be back here to work whenever I'm in oak park.

“My wife, myself, and 2 young kids have been visiting Level Up Cafe & Lounge since they opened. The owners Shawn and Victoria do a great job. The staff is very friendly, they have delicious refreshing protein shakes, smoothies, food, and adult beverages. We absolutely love the atmosphere and free arcade with purchase. There are always young children there whom our kids are always playing with. It’s a great social, playful, and friendly place to be. We highly recommend Cafe Level Up & Lounge for a fun night out!!“

She speaks Albanian & Greek and excellent English. The husband stays back in the kitchen creating the excellent food and the wife serves patrons out front.
