“The wife and I went back to the old neighborhood to visit somebody at the hospital driving around we found modern plate. We figure we’d give it a try. There is no doubt in my mind that this place eventually will be a five star restaurant. The food was phenomenal service atmosphere But I will tell you this much. Don’t go there with your good. Looks thinking you’re gonna buy something bring your cash, but it’s well worth it. The wife and I cannot wait to go back to try something else.“

“My husband and I dined at this restaurant last month for the first time and loved it so I suggested it for a cousin’s dinner last night. Divino is a family restaurant. Chef Gabriel’s food is creative and delicious. His brother-in-law Jose, I believe, is the one behind the great cocktail list and making housemade aperitifs.
The four of us shared two appetizers. The tuna tartare - chopped tuna on top of creamy avocado surrounded by crispy capers and quail yolk. It was served with homemade potato and vegetable chips. We also shared the goat cheese - creamy melted goat cheese sitting in a pool of tasty marinara. This was served with grilled baguette pieces. This appetizer could use more of the baguette as we ran out of bread and still had goat cheese left to enjoy.
For dinner, my sister had the gnocchi with braised beef, short rib, spinach and mushrooms. I know this dish was delicious because this is what my husband ordered the first time we dined here. My two cousins had the chicken limone and said it was very good. (I have my eye on this for next time ). I opted for the branzino which was moist and served in a delicious lemon caper sauce. I would like to see a traditional pasta with marinara sauce on the menu. I think that would be a great addition for clientele who are into the traditional instead of the creative and unique.
There was no room for dessert, but shots of limoncello came to the table. So sweet of Divino. Let me tell you the limoncello was amazing. Luckily, I was able to buy a bottle of this housemade limoncello. Since the four of us were raving about the limoncello, right before we walked out the door Divino gave us a tasting of the housemade pistachio cream. Omg! So smooth, creamy and divine. We enjoyed our conversations with the chef and his brother-in-law, the other owner. Great guys who care about their customers and restaurant.“

“This is hands down our favorite restaurant. We eat here at least twice a week, and the consistency is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. The service is warm, efficient, and always welcoming. The chicken skewers are outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right every time. They are flavorful without being heavy, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The Greek salad is equally impressive. Crisp vegetables, generous feta, balanced dressing, and always fresh. It is simple, but done exceptionally well. When a restaurant can deliver this level of quality consistently multiple times a week, that says everything. We highly recommend it.“

“We were looking for new places to try this week and I came across Ella’s. Not too far from home and the menu looked great. Stopped in early on Saturday evening and grabbed a spot at the bar. Great bar for sure!! The whole place looks great. A little swanky and dim lights so it makes for a great date night. They had a super inviting patio out front but it was a little hot out so we stayed inside. We will be back to dine outside for sure!
We love to share plates so we got two appetizers and a salad. The Arancini alla Vodka was absolutely delicious, should have ordered two. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing. The house salad, perfect. Great drink selection as well. The menu has a great variety, not just Italian.
The staff was great, super friendly and attentive.
I love when smaller local places just do it right and Ella’s does it right!

“I stopped in on a Friday evening and was pleased to sit at the bar and chat with the accommodating and attentive staff. My water glass never went empty. I appreciate the wines could be ordered in smaller 3 ounce pours which allows one to be able to sample the various offerings. The ambiance was warm and quaint and the evening ended with an acoustic set by musician Doug Bardolph.“

“Everything was great. From the food to the service and even the prices. My husband and I went for Valentines day. We got the V-Day which was a birria pizza n desert for $25. My husband had the ground beef enchilada dinner. We both had a passion fruit margarita. The birria pizza was cooked to perfection. The meat was seasoned, tender, and tasty. The consome was 10 out of 10. My husband said every in the enchiladas dinner was good. The owner and his wife are very friendly. The wife took the order and had a wonderful conversation with us. Food didn't take long to prepare. Great experience will be back soon.“

“We ate at Phase Three today at the recommendation of my doctor. And it did NOT disappoint. We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

“Stayed at the doubletree hotel and was very pleasantly surprised how great the food was at Osteria Italian restaurant. We dined here two nights in a row because it was so delicious. Julio our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Made our first evening at the restaurant memorable. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana and Caesar salad. It was wonderful. I had plenty of leftovers and can’t wait to enjoy the other half when I get home. My husband ordered rigatoni with chicken and the soup of the day. He had plenty left over for another meal also. Had two Tiramisu martinis and unfortunately ran out of room for dessert. The second night we sat in the bar for happy hour. Joey, the manager remembered us and made us feel like we were friends dining at his home. Handsome gentleman and incredibly friendly. Tony the bartender managed a full bar of people yet was very available to take our order. Happy hour is a great deal with $7 martinis and affordable large appetizers. Luckily we saved room to share a piece of Tiramisu. Absolutely divine. Can’t wait for our next visit to Chicago to dine here again. Highly recommended.“

“Barrelman's Room is my go-to place on a Friday or Saturday night when I want delicious cocktails and cozy ambiance so I can actually talk to my friends & hear each other. It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. You won't be disappointed!“

“My wife and I watched the bears vs packers game. Great atmosphere and fun time watching the game. However, BOTH bathrooms had issues and one urinal overflowed causing a mess. When the game was over and we left, we were blocked in by someone who made up a parking spot in the back of the lot. Multiple people made up spots all over the lot. When I addressed the issue with the front desk and spoke with the manager, they did nothing and said to call the police. It is not up to the customer to manage your property. I thought it was a joke of a response when a concern was raised.“

“1st visit to MK Steak and we were very impressed. We were seated right away and started with wine and cocktails ( spicy Bees Knees was awesome!). Our server, Chelsea, was knowledgeable, friendly and tentative. Atmosphere was lively but not loud. Both our entrees were cooked to perfection. My husband, who knows his steaks, was pleasantly surprised to hear the steaks are from Meats by Linz. His steak was amazing- great flavor. I had the scallops, which were also very good. The baked French Onion soup was hot and cheese was nicely browned. We were too full for dessert but saw a few being served. So wish I had saved room! We will be back!“

“Wonderful food, service and atmosphere. I had a large family event here and everyone loved it! Favorite dishes were kugelis, potato pancakes, beet soup, salad, combo platters. The desserts were amazing! I highly recommend.“
“Breakfast restaurant at the top of Le Meridien. I would highly suggest the Eggs Benedict and did watch a guy a table over annihilate the Waffles. He said he loved them. The coffee is done European style using illy brand, so it will not be sweet.“
