“Always great and fresh sushi here. Keep in mind this isn't a sit-down spot and is strictly a take out place. Not much options if you were to walk in as you are required to order ahead (which can take some time ~ buffer at least 60 minutes ahead)

Parking: Somewhat difficult depending on time. The free parking lot doesn't have a lot of space.“

“Delicious! We saw the recommendation on Dine In/Dine Out Lake Bluff /Lake Forest Facebook page. So we decided to try it tonight. We were NOT disappointed. Service was friendly, nice casual dining spot. Great bar choices. The meal was delicious - we had the skirt steak and the flavor was top notch. My meal came with 4 shrimp and prepared well, not spicy. The flavors were yum and truly can’t wait to go back. From reviews the seafood looks delicious. We will try that next time!“

“I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

“This place is so cute. The ambiance is chill and sexy for a date or cool to have a girl's night out like I did. Even the neighborhood was really cute. The drinks were very delicious and refreshing. We ordered the shareable ribeye, mashed potatoes, broccolini and mac n cheese. Everything was great! Our server was amazing and just attentive enough without over checking on us. He was very good. “Well, we just loved it! We expected a slightly more bustling urban Italian experience, but being a bistro, we got a more home kitchen feel. The prices were a little lower than expected, but typical with a dine-in Italian experience.

But the food! We have tried lots of Italian restaurants in Chicago recently. This was a standout. They offer a delicious homemade cornbread and feta spread upon arrival. We ordered the Gorgonzola fettuccine and the linguine putaneska and they were just to die for! The Gorgonzola was creamy and not overpowering. The putaneska was savory, salty in the right way, with lots of umami. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. And the carrot cake with cream cheese icing was delicious. The food was just wonderful.

Going along with the home kitchen feel, the server was casual and friendly. Lovely and personal attention is given. Please give this place a try. It is worth it.“

“I believe this place is a sister location to The Sipping Turtle, that being said the food is so good. I love the freshness of the ingredients, it truly is fully customizable. Only thing I wouldn’t recommend is their smoothies, I just don’t think they have a lot of flavor (super bland smoothies, taste like a lot of ice)“

“We visited the Capital Grille in Rosemont for our wedding anniversary. When making the reservation I noted that we were celebrating that special occasion. We do occasionally go to the Capital grille for special events because they have outstanding food and service but I have to say, they did actually take note of the special occasion and decorated our table and prepared a wonderfully customized dessert, especially prepared for our anniversary. It was an outstanding experience for my wife and me. Great job Capital Grille!“

“Staff is extremely friendly and quick to turnaround orders. It's a small establishment with several tables and high top seating next to the window.

Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich:
The sandwich was a decent size and came with shrimp, pickles, shredded lettuce, and a remoulade sauce. I ordered mine with no tomato. The sandwich was flavorful and the shrimp was fresh. The sauce also carried an added kick which was really good. I recommend getting an extra side of remoulade sauce so you can put more on if you like.

Hush Puppies:
A side order comes with 10 hush puppies and oh boy are they good! You can hear the cook deep frying them in front of you so you know you're in for a treat. They come with a side of honey butter but you can pop these in your mouth without anything they're so tasty.

Crab Cake:
I got a side order of crab cake and they are massive. They could almost be considered a meal. They are flavorful and the breaded crust provides the perfect crunch and contrast to the crab filling.

“Such a great surprise! We had heard about La Perla and live in the neighborhood but hadn't made it over to this gem. Such a lovely evening! Food was delicious and beautifully presented. They are working out a bar issue so no alcohol for now but just go for the food! Service was beyond expectations and super accommodating. Rh r chef even came out to see how we were enjoying our choices. Run for the rigatoni! The swordfish special was awesome, Caesar salad -yum. Its location is a little hidden on Clark south of Belmont but don't pass it by.“

“I used to live in Chicago but have not for almost 20 years. My loved the Fish Keg when I was growing up & used to take me every once in a while. Came back to visit family and had to stop in and get some fish chips before I left. It tastes just like I remember. Staff is very nice as well.
It’s so nice that the Fish Keg is still around after all these years. It’s one of those places that really makes me miss being a kid and living on the North Side of Chicago.“

“PS Bangkok is a great restaurant run by an even better person! My boyfriend and I visited this evening and had the BEST Thai food we’ve ever had. We ordered the Chive Dumplings to start and they were sooo chewy with a tasty chive filling. We also ordered the Siamese Curry Noodle with chicken and veggies! The noodle dish was soooo yummy and had great flavor. While eating our food, Sue, the owner, checked up on us and chatted with us as we ate. We had such a great time at the restaurant and chatting with her that we decided to stay for dessert and order Mango Sticky Rice, the perfect treat to conclude our wonderful dinner at PS Bangkok! “Tucked away from the main street in Devon is this humble place for some fantastic North Indian cuisine. Great authentic taste !!Had both the tandoori chicken and the chicken along with garlic naan and plain parathas and everything was delicious - Everything served hot and fresh. The tandoori chicken is made after ordering so will take approx 30 mins to be served but it’s worth the wait. The only thing that stuck out as an anomaly is the chicken looks more reddish than regular meat. It could be likely due to the red chilly spice used or maybe a little bit of food coloring ( not sure ).

This not a fine dine but a regular walk in restaurant with limited seating so pls set expectations accordingly. If you are a lover of Indian cuisine, highly recommend checking this out.“
