“Chuy is the best bartender AND the fish'n'chips are the best in the city of Chicago, bar none! The cod is so fresh and flavorful, the batter is deep fried to perfection, the "chips" are perfectly done, tartar sauce delicious, and the cole slaw is pretty good too! “This is a great neighborhood pub! We've come here for all the different meals and have not been disappointed. As they have expanded their menu it has only gotten better. Highlights are the pies, gin drinks, and the matcha latte. It's an unexpected fun spot for breakfast on weekdays too. If we lived even closer we would be here all the time. “We met up with friends and family members on Thanksgiving weekend, and had a blast! The band was awesome and made the night- Patrick Bale and the Pale Ales- hope to see them play again soon! The atmosphere is so unique, with character and charm, also artsy and styled- fun for all ages. We didn’t eat but drinks (and shots!) were flowing. We’ll be back for sure.“

“Attended a group event at Cary's Lounge. Great little bar with an outdoor patio and art gallery upstairs. Bartender was very nice and helped me choose a drink (a special that they technically didn't have anymore but still had the ingredients for) and it was awesome. It was a nice surprise that a friendly cat came up to us on the patio and let us pet him.“
“Pleasantly surprised by this place located on Bryn Mawr between Kedzie and Kimball. The initial impression was that the prices on the menu seemed a bit high given its location. And some dishes like hummus plate, which consisted of cut up carrots and cucumber with pita bread and a large spoonful of hummus, was not worthwhile at $14. Same goes for a bowl of Irish cabbage soup for $10. Having said, other items like chicken wings and burgers were quite delicious and were worth paying little more for them. Given their great beer selection and wonderful cocktails, it is worth a visit.“

“This is a cool spot in Highwood. Nothing really stands out as exceptional, but everything was pretty good.I got the rueban sandwich because we were there on St Patrick's Day. It was ok. The plain French fries were very average, but the truffle fries were much better.The calamari was good, but the other appetizers were not so much. However, the server here gave me an extra chair and took care of my camera bag. I've never experienced such hospitality in a restaurant before. However, I wish they had more seafood. -Oden Soup: it was on the house. Even my daughter, a picky eater, said it was excellent. “We very much enjoyed the service drinks and food. Apps we tried were Brussels sprouts broccoli (basic but garlicky good), fries. Entrees hamburgers and crispy chicken. All were very good. Apps were not hot and that was the only complaint t. Drinks were fun and we all liked our choices except pear vodka drink was too sweet.Parking: 5:30 we found a spot close.“
