We were picking up a few blizzards, and two of them were off menu requests (older/retired recipes). The manager (owner?), Rerish, took great care of us and gave us very good recommendations. He made sure we got what we were looking for and shared the recipes so the recipients would know what to ask for next time. The two blizzards were delivered, and the kids LOVED them. Thanks so much! “I was waiting for my cookies when I observed a worker who was rolling dough. She stepped away from the dough table, and went on her personal phone, then immediately went back to touching the dough. Wearing the same pair of gloves the entire time. I made a comment that she should probably switch gloves if she is going to touch her personal phone and then peoples food. Just wanted to be sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s gross.“

“I have visited this restaurant twice. The first time, I went with my husband, and the second time with a group of friends. Both visits were excellent. On our first visit, we tried their popcorn chicken, and it was absolutely delicious — crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. When we returned for the second visit, the taste was just as good as we remembered.
we also tried their braised pork rice and matcha latte — both were equally impressive. What stood out to us is how consistent the quality and flavor were on both visits. We’ll definitely be coming back again when we get the chance!“

“I enjoy getting an original rainbow cone and I'm thankful there are more locations to enjoy them. We accidentally discovered they have a junior size cone which provides just as much flavor and the (required) obligatory drip(s) on my shirt and pants despite my efforts otherwise. They currently offer the Jr size for a buck off on Tuesday making the trip less costly.
I'd suggest a trip to the original Rainbow Cone at 92nd and Western for the true experience. Walk in, stand in line and sit at the tables out back. The original location is on my personal list of Chicago favorites. Thankfully they no longer close in the off-season...“

Their elote is delicious, I get it every time I get a chance.They also have aguas frescas that are refreshing. The co-owner is a really nice guy and always says hi when he’s around.
