“We attended the final Winter Warm Up at Mallow Run on March 11th. The Vinyard was bare but proving for summer visits! The barn has a tasting room and store, with a downstairs kitchen/bar and seating. It's a walk-out so those averse to stairs can drive down to the door. If I remember correctly. Rest rooms are on the main level (or my rating would be 5 stars). We first enjoyed tasting 4 different wines. Got lots of great info during our tasting. I ended up purchasing a port/brandy ... very tasty! Lunch included loaded baked potato soup. Other food items available for purchase as well. And, you can bring your own! The music started at 2pm ( we arrived for soup at noon). Go early cause the place fills up!“

“Met friends for dinner. Monday special is $12 burgers with fries. We all ordered a burger and all were very happy with our choices. Our server was very nice and attentive. We will be back soon for another burger on a Monday. I drank wine but the rest enjoyed their beers very much. Great selection of their brews, wine and alcohol. The menu had a nice variety of dishes to cover everyone if burgers are not what you are looking for.“

“My parents came in for a visit and I decided to take them to Taxman for dinner on Saturday night. The weather was perfect so they had outdoor dining open. Our server was really nice, I don't remember her name, but she was very pregnant. We ordered the nachos with chicken and pretzels & cheese for appetizers, they were amazing! My dad couldn't stop talking about how great the nachos were! Our drinks were amazing! I had the espresso martini, so good!!! I had the mushroom risotto, my mom had the chicken & waffles, my dad had a smash burger that had an egg on it (forgot the exact name of what it was) and my husband had the steak frittes. All of our food was amazing! My mom said if this place has giftcards, she will get one for us at Christmas. Thank you for the great experience and thank you for providing my parents from Wisconsin a great time as well!“

“I was greeted by a friendly fella as soon as I walked in. Had a nice quick chat and ordered.I got the brisket combo without the bun and sweet corn casserole?(better than your grama's just don't tell her?). I used the sweet sauce on the brisket and mmm it was good.Combo comes with a drink. They are local made pops without the high fructose syrup. They have little cups for tasting. Mexicola(like vanilla coke), lemon-lime, cherry vanilla(like Dr.Pep), and Root beer. I chose root beer ?.All in all, I left having a good meal at a good price.I will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: The kids will enjoy the food. They have mac n cheese. Lol They have other options too.“

“This place is phenomenal. I have not had French pastries quite like these before. It was my first time here so I got just about one of everything. The croissants are MASSIVE, flaky & down right immaculate. The chocolate is an excellent dessert & the ham is a great way to start your morning with a cup of coffee. This bakery is a hidden gem & if you are reading this review, I promise you won't be disappointed.“

“We have had nothing but good experience here! And when I say we I mean even our chocolate lab! He goes to training and afterwards he knows that he gets an ice cream so he absolutely loves the experience and behaves so well in line. They will either for free give you a small ice cream with a dog treat in it or you can choose to pay for a pup cup which is what we usually do. We only do that because of the lactose we're afraid it will hurt his belly but it is great that they offer both!“

“1823 Bakehouse made our wedding cake! They were so lovely to work with and the cake was delicious! It was so fun to have the opportunity, as a gluten free individual, to still customize our cake and having something I knew would be safe to eat! They delivered the cake day of and it was an overall great experience. Plus, it was always fun to try new treats each time we went in!“

“I love these types of places. Tons of beer to choose from. Don’t have to wait on a bartender, and can pour as much or as little as you like. Plenty of different beers and seating with a nice outside patio. Love the exposed bricks and the shiny floor. Could use some TVs to watch sports games and currently they don’t smoke meat at this location and bring it in.“

“I kept driving by this space ship of a coffee place and I had no idea what was happening. It's a cute lil space ship. Drive thru only. So there's no inside coffee service. My friend and I drove up with hesitation, but then we encountered Jerry who was so helpful. The menu is a bit daunting for first timers, but Jerry helped us navigate it expertly. We both ended up ordering his favorite - German Chocolate! It was delicious. Jerry even asked for my digits. It was to sign me up for rewards, but it still counts!“

“Super cute, old-timey ice cream and snack shop. We visited on a chilly March evening and the service was so fast!! They have a great variety of classic ice cream parlor treats and also some traditional snack shack foods as well. They have only outdoor seating but it's a fabulous, large courtyard with chairs and tables. I loved stumbling across this little gem while visiting from out of town.“

“South of Chicago has the best combo I have had outside of Chicago. The food is so good I dont even miss my home state of Illinois. The service is great and the atmosphere really feels like a Chicago diner. Go get a cheesey beef and sausage combo with hot peppers. Itll change your life.“

“I've been craving a man apple carrot juice so I hopped on my Yelp app and searched near me and Root 2 Rise showed up. It's so weird that this place is right down the strip from Le croissant. How perfect is it that you can be bad and indulgent at Le Croissant and then pop in to Rott to Rise and heat a healthy juice? Balance. But it's super cute on the inside and whispers, "come sit on the comfy couch and read a book." You can even borrow a book off of the bookshelf! Love this super cute cafe! I will be coming back.“

“Absolutely best pizza around! The service app is so friendly, and so nice! They are always on it and very quick to take care of their table. The servers are very attentive. In the summertime on Saturdays it gets very busy due to the car show but it's a nice way to spend an evening with the family! it can get a little noisy at times, but still very manageable. Compared to some other places!“

“We were greeted immediately after entering the restaurant. It was a very busy Saturday, but we quickly had drinks and menus. This place has a family friendly sports bar vibe with a very friendly staff. They have a wood pizza oven that I really need to try. My kids had cheese burgers that they really enjoyed. I had a BBQ Angus Burger with pulled pork, BBQ sauce and onion straws. Plus the burger had legit real thick bacon. It was all very good.“

“I stumbled upon this place and it ended up being AMAZING. Their service was excellent, they were so nice and helpful. As well as, they got my order out to be in 10 minutes which is so much quicker than other places I've gone too!! I got the Paneer Masala and their Garlic Naan and it is SO SO GOOD. I have not thoroughly enjoyed food in so long because everything usually tastes processed, but this establishments food was so fulfilling and you could tell that this food was cooked with the skill and effort of a chef who is so so talented. “Great frozen custard, but the random nature of the flavor selections from day to day and the unreliability of the websites to express those flavors can be frustrating. We have 3 Ritters near us, and you can't trust the website for two of them.“

“Richard’s Brick Oven is a Franklin and Indiana staple of how a brick oven pizza place should be. Coming from a vast traveling background and eating at a lot of places in the country this place does it right! They have beer and pizza to the tee, the service is amazing and they make sure to take care of their people. Eating here is like eating at your friends family owned restaurant. The staff is friendly, humble and most of all just normal people like you and I. Amazing place and amazing pizza I gladly drive 20+ minutes to here for dinner with my family and enjoy it every time. “I put in a large take-out order for a lunch staff meeting. The crew of Greek's knocked it out of the park. The food was hot, on time, delicious, and the staff took the effort to mark each container with the contents and/or order number on the box! Wonderful experience with this establishment!Dietary restrictions: We had diners who had food allergies. The staff attended well to these needs.“
