“Visiting Indianapolis for the first time. When looking at the front you don't expect a whole lot don't make the mistake of missing it. Entering your immediately hit with the smell of breakfast. you open the menu to a abundance of options, you're met by your server in a very timely fashion and the manager comes over to say hi. At the end of the experience we left with a full stomach. And a happy heart I heavily suggest this place good food, and great company.“
“Went here for 1st time today with friends from church. Nice little cafe. Good food, good coffee & service was quick. Only complaint was french toast was little hard/rubbery. But all 3 of the others had tenderloin. BIG & MEATY they said & loved them. ♥️. Definitely going back to try something different.“
“The food was very good. I had the hand breaded tenderloin sandwich was was excellent. Big and juicy. My wife had the boneless wings which were big and our friends had cheeseburgers who they liked. The fries were very good as well. The service was excellent and the waitress was very friendly and helpful.“
“We went in for breakfast finally after hearing about it for months and never really finding the time. Our waitress Rene was awesome. My coffee never got cold and never ran out (because she was so attentive to it). The food was delicious. I got the fruity waffle which came topped with very fresh strawberries and bananas. Also got grits and eggs which came out hot and cooked/ seasoned very well (not over seasoned, just right for me). We never felt like we were waiting for the waitress to come back around like you do at some places. Rene was very attentive even though it seemed like she had a ton of tables and people to look after.Parking: We got there pretty early and found the parking lot empty but passing by it’s usually pretty full in front of the restaurant. It’s in a strip so there’s plenty of parking around if you don’t mind a walk. After having been in, it’s no surprise why the parking lot fills up fast; it’s a go to for many because it’s such a pleasant experiences all around.“
“We LOVE Vida❤️! The food was phenomenal, the service was fantastic (shoutout to Miss Shanna!), and it has an atmosphere of elegance. The personalized touches throughout our visit, such as calling us by name right off the bat, wine samples when we couldn't decide which to get, and an Amuse-bouche from the chef that was beyond words made it spectacular. I highly recommend making the trip to Vida!“
“Amazing cocktails and mocktails. Sad at how much I like this place bc I hate leaving my home but will definitely make the trip downtown for this place. The staff was so kind and helpful and I really liked the vibe. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to try more items. We have two appetizers. They were amazing!“
“The sides, despite how generous in size, were priced well and delicious. We tried the sweet potato crock and cole slaw and both were very good iterations of their respective recipes. The appetizers seem priced a little expensive for how small they are. We tried the hush puppies and if they offered more pieces, we'd definitely order again. The mainstay of this restaurant is the fried chicken. For the price, the portions are fair and available in dark meat, white meat, and chicken half variants. To be honest, the breading was a little disappointing. It was a bit overcooked and browned instead of the gold you would expect from a crispy piece of chicken. Maybe the staff was having an off day.The restaurant smelled like a very clean Brothers Bar and Grill, which is to say there's probably a heavy drinking crowd at night. I would still go again, but only in the day.The waiter was very helpful, knew the menu inside and out, and attentive. The restaurant itself looks like it was AI-generated so you can tell it's some corporate franchise but otherwise it's a cute spot. If you have a picky eater to deal with, this is a good restaurant to choose.“
“Consistently great service, delicious food, and a very cool atmosphere. Allowed me to have a quick bite yesterday as needed but was also very welcome to taking my time when I wanted to relax. Excited to eat here again next time I'm in town!“
“My husband and I had reservations at 6:30 on a Saturday for my birthday. We had never been before this was our first time. I have to say the food was delicious. I had the lobster risotto with filet medallions, and my husband had a New York strip with the delicious potato and honey cumin glaze carrots. The bread is delicious but the dipping oil not so much! The bread needs some whipped butter or some good olive oil. That oil is a little spicy. The Stonecreek martini was delicious and my husband had a couple beers. The entrance is a bit confusing, especially when it’s dark out. The entrance is at the back of the building and it is not very well lit. Just a heads up. The only complaint that I have is one of the kitchen staff members drug a trashcan through the middle of the dining area to empty it and then brought it back through.“
“Was looking for Brunch on maps and decided to check it out on a whim. And the food was amazing!!! We watched them making biscuits by scratch in the back. Food took a while to come, but knowing it was all made from scratch made the wait worth it. Would go back if I’m in town!“
“I can’t tell you how great it is to have this restaurant in our community. Truly a staple in our neighborhood. It’s always a great place to bring friends from out of state to get a flavor of Hoosier Hospitality. It’s just one of those must visit places that gives you the Hoosier vibe we all need from time to time.“
“Small but nice dining experience. The beef filet was a bit salty with the sauce that came with it. Was cooked to perfection though. We were celebrating a birthday, I noted on my reservation, and the server said nothing about it. I had to ask her about it! Will probably go back but not for a special occasion.“
“First of all, if your music lover, this is an amazing venue. They're literally isn't a bad seat in the house. Generally when I get into a music venue, expect the food to be just OK but here it's absolutely delicious. We went to see Rock E. Bassoon and it was amazing. We didn't realize that they were in effect and opening act but the guy they opened with was really great. Definitely worth checking this place out.“
“I grew up next to a legit deli and this definitely is that and then some! Excellent food and drinks. It's certainly more of a restaurant vibe than the get your pastrami on rye to go version of a deli.... and the better for it if you're looking for a relaxed lunch. The Caesar actually had anchovy like it should and rye croutons for an extra treat. The tallow fries are furreal. Reminded us of Hot Doug's duck fat fries in Chicago back in the day. We're newer to Indy and Turchettis was recommended by friends as "good but pricey" which we are learning is the Midwest version of 5 ⭐, 10 out of 10 highly recommend. It's a 10-15$ sandwich and worth every penny!“
“We had an amazing time here! Got to the cafe at around 11:30 and got seated right away at the bar. Connor, our server, was super friendly. Food came out shortly after it was placed. Make sure you try their famous cinnamon toast! Parfait and chili were delicious too. Parking was easy, a ton of street parking available. Would definitely come back again!“
“i checked out Twin Peaks with family and thought it was amazing. we ordered the bacon cheese fries with ranch and the appetizer trio to try. the trio included fried pickles, mozzarella cubes, and buffalo chicken tenders. i ordered a side salad with the adult macaroni and cheese. my boyfriend got the jalapeño flatbread pizza. my mother in law got a the sirloin steak and my father in law got the billionaire bacon burger. it was all delicious. the restaurant was crowded but our food was hot and fresh. i loved the taxidermy decor, it's so fun pointing out which animal is where. the waitress and hostess's are all very sweet. i would definitely come back! the food was so flavorful and the portions are great to share!“
“Amazing, amazing amazing! Such a great little gem of a restaurant in a fun area of town. The food was great but what stood out to me was the service and the wine list. We ordered a bottle of a well priced Willamette Valley pinot noir that was excellent. I liked it so much that I took a picture of the label to be able to purchase it at a local wine shop. We asked the server about the bread pudding as we typically try it everywhere we go. We were torn to try the signature dessert (doughnuts) or the bread pudding and decided we had to try both. The server was so kind and ended up comping our dessert in the idea that we were "taste testing" the menu and it needed to be done for "scientific reasons." We were very appreciative and certainly didn't expect that. Great service, Great food, & Great vibe!“
“I attended a conference at the Indy Convention Center the last 4 days. Stayed at the JW Marriott. High Velocity is located in that hotel. It became my main eating place during my stay. The food is very good and moderately priced. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the short rib tacos. The service was excellent. I highly recommend High Velocity for those staying at the JW Mariott in Indianapolis.“
“Crunchy shrimp tacos=GREAT‼️There WERE 4, but I couldn’t wait and ate the 1st delicious one quickly!! ??vodka tonic!Heading down to their Speakeasy “Bootleggers” next ~. An awesome evening out!BJ-bartender, wonderful!!!Chef Glenn Brown, wonderful!!!Get yourself out to the FLATIRON!?????“
“Rob, Lou and any of the other staff I've interacted with have been amazing. Perfect dive bar for downtown Indy. Great price on food and it's Delicious. Will definitely be around regularly. The Garlic Parm Pizza Rolls are my kryptonite. Rob's Hot Honey Biscuits and Gravy is bussin so get it while it's hot.“
“What great dinner!First of all our servant, Brennan, helpful, attentive, friendly, enthusiastic. A true son of Indiana! Everything you would expect a great restaurant to have.I had the 14 ounce dry aged ribeye with green beans. The Mrs. had the 8 ounce ribeye with mash. We could not resist the famous shrimp cocktail, which we washed down with a bottle of Hess Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon topped off with the Woodford Reserve bread pudding with caramel sauce and ice cream. What an experience truly one of Indianapolis’ finest!Aloha nui to your team Harry and Izzy’s!?❤️?“
“As unbelievable as this may sound, not a single state has an official sandwich. And after eating the unofficial state sandwich of Indiana I think I know why. First things first though, according my extensive internet research, the official unofficial state sandwich of Indiana is the Pork Tenderloin. And if you are only going to eat one, which was the plan, then it should be eaten at the Aristocrat Pub & Restaurant. It comes on a bun (mine was oddly from Toronto) that covers a maximum of 33% of the loin, with lettuce, tomato, and three dill pickle coins and a loin eater's choice of ketchup, mayo and/or mustard (I chose mayo). For some it might be advisable to share. Washed down by a draft Ayinger Lager: Excellent!!! So good in fact I'm thinking I'll share another with Mrs. AAR if the opportunity arises. Oh, yeah, the reason why this great country lacks even one official state sandwich¹ may be the same reason this country can't provide adequate health care . . . politics. In Indiana's case House Bill 1143 has languished since 2023 possibly due to pushback from the Polish sausage and fried brain sandwich lobby. ¹ According to Wikipedia the "Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese," is the only official state sandwich. It was made "official" by the New Jersey governor on May 25, 2023, though this might just be due to the Taylor Swift's impending visiting to MetLife Stadium. Either way it has not been been approved by the state legislature.“
“This is the classic American Burger place. Lots of burger choices and good classic sides are offered. They have other items including other sandwiches and salads but the burgers are the star! Quality meat and fresh veggies make even a basic burger a treat! I have not tried their shakes yet, but they lk amazing!“
“First time in. Had to get the cheeseburger and fries based on FB recommendations. Did not disappoint. Sat at the bar. Cheeseburger was cooked well. Got fries that were very good. My neighbor's onion rings looked pretty good too. Nothing fancy. Just good food.“
“We had an appetizer I forgot to take pictures of it lol it was loaded nachos though. We order the bone/grill for 2 maybe 3 & it did not disappoint at all. The cornbread is magically delicious it’s so good and it cook just right. The BBQ didn’t disappoint either the only thing I didn’t really like is the potato wedges take that off the menu and substitute to that for meat if I was Smokey bones. The atmosphere is 5/5 from the music, to the lighting it’s a vibe for bbq. I’ll definitely be revisiting when I’m in the area.“
“The wandering Canadian here! The Slippery Noodle is one of the premiere places to go in Indy! So many amazing memories have been made here, in the past and today. The food, the atmosphere, the staff are all amazing. Tatum ensured our rowdy crew behaved and had the time of our lives. Thank you!“
“Shortly after we arrived to The Oakmont my Blood Sugar dropped. We were sitting at the bar and the kind Bartender took good care of me. He got me orange juice and kept refilling my drink quickly. He got my food very promptly. I really appreciated his attention. My yogurt bowl with fruit and granola was delicious and my blood sugar came back up shortly thereafter. At that point I was able to enjoy spending time with my family (all over 21) and was able to take in the wonderful atmosphere. The rest of my family also enjoyed the great food. To the Bartender, Thank you so very much!Dietary restrictions: Being diabetic I found several items on the menu that I could eat. I chose the yogurt bowl with fruit and granola. It was delicious. Husband had biscuits and gravy with an egg over easy and he enjoyed every bite.“
“Great place with an industrial feel. The shrimp and grits are incredibly good. The chicken and waffles with the hot (spicy) honey is fantastic. We split 2 entrees between 3 people. A perfect fit.Definitely recommend reservations, but we had no problem getting a seat at the bar.Riley and Lindsey were friendly and attentive. Great recommendations from them for food and drinks.“
“We have heard good things about this Greenwood spot and decided to finally make the trip. I cannot say enough good things! Great ambiance, friendly bartenders, and the food was truly delicious. Didn't take many pictures, but we enjoyed the crab cake bruschetta, short rib, pork tenderloin, and espresso crème brûlée. The pork tenderloin was perfectly crispy with a fantastic short rib gravy. The short rib entree had a flavorful spice rub and was served with mashed sweet potatoes and some incredible Brussels sprouts with Brie sauce. Husband and I both agreed it was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. Can't wait to go back!“
“As usual the food was good the location is a bit awkward to drive around traffic is very heavy in this area but overall perfect experience that you would expect from Culver's even got a free Shake because someone accidentally made one extra star for that “
“seen this place and thought i would give it a shot! So glad i did great food the cook and bartender were very nice and welcomed me in. I will be back for sure 100 percent . The place was clean very nice inside and like i said the food was perfect. Got back to work and told all the guys that rhis place will be the one we will get food from. Dont know what it was but they treated me and cooked for me some great food . Now i will bring the wife its a good place and i dont write reviews but i felt this place needs to be reconized for a great place to eat.Thank you Good Spot i will be back?????????“
“This was our first time to Yolk and the food was terrific! The restaurant is clean, the wait staff was great, and we had an awesome family brunch! This is definitely a special occasion restaurant with the prices, but you definitely get what you pay for and won’t leave hungry. The hardest part is choosing something from a menu with so many unique options available. My kids both chose the “S’mores pancakes,” I had the “Hey Ricky” omelet, and my wife had the “Very Berry” French Toast.Serving sizes are enormous! The omelets are 5 egg and come with two pancakes and a side like cheesy grits (yum!), kids had two full sized pancakes, and the French toast consisted of three 1-inch thick slices of bread cut into halves. After food, walk down the street a little and get your picture by the butterfly wings.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved having specialty pancake options.“
“This place is a top place nice store the employees are friendly the store is clean the food they have is really good and delicious the best wings I have had in a while loved this place definitely will be back here soon highly recommended if you are looking for a nice and clean food and restaurant this place is the go too!“
“I was hungry last week on a Friday and I saw this restaurant near an acquaintance's home so I went in at sat at the bar to order some food. Even though I waited a little bit for service, one of the bartenders gave me a menu after asking for one. I ordered the fish and chips with coleslaw and the chicken fingers for my Daddy. After one bite of the fish, it was so hot and delicious and fried to perfection and fries and coleslaw was awesome too. And I'm sure the chicken fingers were good .“
“I had the burger and fries. Very good. And our server, Sarah was very pleasant, had a nice attitude and did a great job.Dietary restrictions: My daughter is vegan, and wife restricting her diet. Sarah got it all right, and they enjoyed their meals.Kid-friendliness: We had 2 toddlers and 3 young boys and 4 adults. Staff was very kind and patient with them got their kids meals out quickly.“
“First off, let me just say that the bar staff here are so friendly truly made my experience here memorable. I had just left the bar nowhere special before I walked into this establishment, which where I had an awful experience at, and I decided to try The ball & biscuit and I’m so glad that I did. The cocktail menu they have available here was amazing but I’m a pretty picky person when it comes to my taste preferences in craft cocktails. I expressed my preferences to Casey the bartender and her and Ryan both worked together in coming up with a delicious cocktail to fit what I wanted. I was extremely impressed with the cocktail they made for me based off of me just stating that I loved egg whites and gin. My cocktail was delicious, they had created a grapefruit gin fiz for me and the presentation of the cocktail was amazing. The bar staff and Todd also gave me some wonderful suggestions as to other places I could visit as a tourist in this city which was super helpful. I hope to visit this place soon with friends. Thank you for this wonderful experience.“
“Bartender Shay was on point! I was there two days watching the mens and womens NCAA tournament. It was extremely busy yet she took the time to connect with every guest. First time there, definitely not the last. Hope Shay is behind the bar again!“
“I’m going to be as fair and as honest as possible with this review. I’ve heard from multiple people to try this place because of the stew, so I did today for the first time. 1 stew topped cheeseburger and 1 stew topped Tenderloin and my bill was $32.09. No sides, no drinks, and no bread supplied with the tenderloin. Just meat in a pizza box and a container of stew. Now, with that being said, the tenderloin was very good, the stew was very good, and the burger was nothing special. But when I carry out a tenderloin, a burger, and a small container of stew, for my money, there is better out there. I’m not trashing the business at all. Their food is pretty good, but I can’t justify spending 32$ on 2 sandwiches. If I had a recommendation to offer, it would be a little more bang for your buck. For example, an 8oz steak, 2 sides, salad and drink at Texas Roadhouse is $14.99…a tenderloin with stew on it with no bun, no sides, no drink and no fixings at your establishment is more. If I come back again in the future, I’ll probably just stick to your namesake.“
“Traveling from Illinois to Kentucky, stopped at Dennys for a meal. Alyssa was our server. She was on point as well as whoever was staffing the kitchen. Their experience shows! Reminds me of the old days when this kind of experience was the norm and not the exception! I would stop here every time!“
“Dugout has long been on my list of bars to try but I never got the opportunity to until this Friday while trying to post up for the Purdue game. Drink specials are phenomenal, $9 pitchers of either Yuengling or Miller Lite is a steal. The bar food is pretty decent as well so if you get hungry I recommend the pizza as it too is reasonably priced. Overall this is a top spot to watch sports, no shortage of tvs and room to post up. Obviously you don't want to show up too close to tipoff because it will be standing room only.“
“We were in town for a Pacers game and chose TDT for pre-gaming. It was perfect. Atmosphere was great - "upscale bar". It seemed like everyone there was going to the game, which is fun. Service was friendly. Burgers were delicious. Nice draft beer selection. We'll be in town for a concert in a few months, and may just eat here again!“
“Have only eaten here a couple of times. Each time the people, employees were friendly, smiling, happy.I and my party enjoyed the food very much. The fresh, moist rolls and sweet butter were well received.More food than each could eat, boxed for home. Two complaints.A. The benches are extremely hard and are pitched rearward at an odd angle. Uncomfortable at there best.B. The seating at said booths is very narrow to your dining partner, elbows will be rubbed. Little room at table.“
“As usual the food was good the location is a bit awkward to drive around traffic is very heavy in this area but overall perfect experience that you would expect from Culver's even got a free Shake because someone accidentally made one extra star for that “
“I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW DELICIOUS THIS MEAL WAS!! I had moist & savory fried pork chops (2), greens and mac and cheese. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECTLY SEASONED AND PREPARED! It comes with tomato, A green onion and cornbread that made me want to slap the closest old person!! It was the icing on the cake! THIS IS A GREAT MEAL FOR THE PRICE!! CHEF ALI PUT HIS FEET (Not just One foot, BOTH FEET!!) IN THIS FOOD!! I got a bit choked up a little teary eyed from nostalgia) because it truly reminds me of my mother's cooking. I CAN'T WAIT TO TRY THE REST OF THE MENU!! CHEF ALI!!! Can I get a serving of EVERYTHING?!!? DELICIOUS!!!“
“Brought our family of 6 on St.Patrick's for my husband's birthday and Anthony was our waiter. He was wonderful with being attentive but not overbearing. Food was hot and delicious, desserts where delicious as well. Will gladly come “
“We met friends for dinner tonight, just as coincidence, We all had Caesar salads for starters, my husband and another gentleman had the meatball also which was amazing! his wife had the Barada salad, which looked fantastic. I know because I've had it before. She also had the tuna fillet. She said it was amazing. I had a fillet with the cauliflower and I could kick myself for not ordering the cauliflower before!! The fillet and the cauliflower were so good! I've already made a reservation to come back.“
“Great Surprise!! I've driven past this little dive so many times but we couldn't find parking at another location and saw how busy it was and decided to give it a try! It was wonderful!! The place was full of happy people, a piano player filled the space. The waitress was friendly and service was fast! Best potato soup I've ever had! Everything was very affordable and we can't wait to go back!“
“Ordered fried pickles, probably the best we have ever had! Great fries too! Paid extra $1 to try different sauces. The sandwich was good but I did not care for the bread choices. I wish I could have had my chicken in a lettuce wrap. Great that they have a parking lot across the street.“
“WOW! We rented out Beholder's Pink Room for our wedding dinner and WOW! Not only was the food f-ing delicious (as always!) but Josh and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the evening special. Leading up to the event, they were responsive and super easy to work with. The service was impeccable and we dream of the six course meal (again- f-ing delicious) and perfect wine pairing. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!“
“Incredible food! We got the 5th Ave wings which are tossed in whatever flavor you want and then passed through a flame leaving the wings super juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The pork tenderloin sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the fries are the perfect blend of crispy and fluffy. Service was very friendly and cheerful, and the restaurant playlist was great as well!“
