“My husband and I went to a free poker tournament, we are elderly and wanted a place we could socialize and keep our minds sharp by playing cards, which is something we've always enjoyed. Everyone we met were so welcoming and patient with me, as it had been awhile since we'd played tournament. We plan on becoming permanent members of this fun and friendly group of people. I will recommend to everyone I know who enjoys playing cards and friendly folks!“

“Absolutely love the pumpkin pancakes so much, that I get them every visit! And summer the lemon blueberry. We ask for Layla every time, she knows what we drink and brings them before we ever ask. She jokes with my husband which he loves. She's funny, super sweet and such a great waitress. We've been coming here for a few months now, after leaving another pancake place, because of the food and service here. We bring all of out out of town guests here and upon a return visit this is where they want to come. Layla makes each visit the best part of our day!“

“Patachou rocks. Not only is the food superb. Their restrooms are always clean and the service is great. They also take the time to watch out for their patrons when they misplaced their valuables I’m a customer for life. Now if I could just get another cup of their banana nut coffee. “Nice souvenir shop. Very nice lady working there. The shop is in a giant building with a Hyatt Regency, bank, restaurants, and offices. Not sure if it was because it was a Sunday afternoon but the building felt like a dead mall. Surprisingly though, this souvenir shop was packed with people. They have a good selection of Indiana souvenirs at reasonable prices.“

To learn the history on the slippery noodle inn tour was one of our favorite parts! So much to unpack and learn about the building and back history our tour guide was an absolute pleasure and awesome guy! 10/10 recommend can’t wait to return!“

“An impromptu date night with jazz. My husband & I decided to find a venue with food since our fav downtown only serves snacks. We were blessed because not only was a New Orleans brass band playing but we had an amazing three course meal with a perfect seat at the end of the bar. The food was divine. “OMG, I loved this place. Very cool old school nice pub eatery established in 1933. It has gorgeous woodwork throughout and vintage charm. Loved the atmosphere as much as the service and food. “Ate here Saturday and it was amazing. The wait staff were awesome. We started out with their signature onion rings. Soooo Good and crispy !!three of our group had the tenderloin and it was phenomenal. Tender crispy. Yummy. Two of our group got the beef and noodles and they were amazing and flavorful. I had the sunrise burger!! So good and juicy. We had a group of 8 and they were able to accommodate us. It’s very retro it’s like a step back in time“

“We had three (3) appetizers, calamari, shrimp and meat board - all were delicious. Then one had the blue crab cakes, filet medallions, 8oz filet mignon, and white cheese Bacon burger. We will return as the wait staff were excellent and provided enough service that we were impressed. Fished the meal off with cream Brule, carrot cake and chocolate something. Needless to say, they had to roll us outa the restaurant.“

“I was driving through Cumberland on HWY 40 and drove past a sign that read SEROS Family Dining - Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner…… I came back the very next day to find out if this place was what I thought it was? Indeed it was, the entire place reminded me of diners back home in Brooklyn and Queens, NY. The breakfast was amazing , I had the grilled pork chops and eggs, my wife had the Capri Scrambler. The portions of food are HUGE! Let me tell you , we will be back, can’t wait to try the dinner menu!!! I highly recommend. I’m a little less homesick…..“

“I took a work group of 6 for dinner and everything was excellent. They did run about 20 minutes past our reservation time to seat us but once we were accommodated the service, recommendations, cocktails and food were all exceptional. We will back if ever in the area again.“

“The Ocarina of Fries! I’ve never tasted anything like this in my life of dining. Waffle Sweet potato fries with cinnamon and Brown sugar, Cream cheese sauce topped w/ Chives! OMGOODNESS!!! Then The Perfect Pizza totally lived up to its name. Oven baked Flatbread, marinara from the gods, old world pepperoni, fresh mozzarella and peppadew peppers. I added chorizo. Deeeeeeeeelicious! Soooo good!“

“The food was incredible. A few buddies and I were looking for somewhere to go for dinner and stumbled upon this gem. Really nice homely looking place. The server was very attentive, even asked if we needed more queso for our nachos which I've NEVER experienced anywhere before. We got steak nachos and pretzel bites for the table you could tell everything was made from scratch in house. The queso, quac, sour cream, and cheddar cheese dip were impeccable. I got the brisket burger and it's legitimately one of the best burgers I've ever had. My friends got the chili cheeseburger and pulled pork burger and were just as astonished with the quality as I was. Everything was very well done and at a very reasonable price.

The only critique I have is that I wish the sweet potato fries came salted, but I salted them with the salt at the table. So it's really just a nitpick. This place is awesome and we will definitely be coming back!“

That is a rare service provided in this day and age. The specials are always fresh and delightful, and their mainstays are what keep us coming back. “Found this place randomly, I dont even like hotdogs, but I would go out of my way to go back. My man and I got brisket dog, and slaw dog. The man behind the counter wasnt lying, once you have one, you'll come back for 2 at a time. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.“
