“I stopped here for coffee and ended up getting a latte to go. The latte was smooth and delicious, and the staff seemed professional and polite. The interior looks nice, but this doesn’t really seem like a coffee shop meant for spending a lot of time in. There wasn’t much seating I could see, so this is definitely more of a takeout spot. It was definitely good coffee though.“

My husband David treated us to a delightful dining experience for Valentine's Day Eve. (I love dining "off holiday" for a more peaceful pace.) We've dined at Salt on Mass many times and continue to be thrilled with our experience. We reserved through Open Table and were seated immediately with our on-time arrival. I love a table with a view of the room's comings and goings, so #41 was ideal, again. We were welcomed by our server Ryan, who explained he was also our bartender. (Love it - special insights on cocktails and wines.) He served us well, attentive but not too much so, and we loved his creative chocolate martini as our "appetizer." :-) We chose our dinner favorites - Chilean Sea Bass with delectable risotto for David and Salmon with expertly grilled asparagus for me. The portions remain appropriately generous, so we split the Key-Lime Chiffon Cake for dessert. Congratulations Johnny and crew for delivering another memory-making visit. “Stopped by Chicago Beef And Dog Company last weekend while strolling through Irvington. I got the Italian beef loaded with peppers and my partner tried their classic dog. Both were fantastic — juicy, well-seasoned, and honestly better than anything else we’ve found around Indy. The folks at the counter were super friendly too, made us feel right at home. We’ll definitely be back to try their burgers next.“

“Date night at Bocca never disappoints. My wife and I live near downtown, and it’s become one of our favorite spots. We grabbed seats at the bar last night, where Maritza proved she can shake a cocktail like nobody’s business. The carbonara is my go-to—hands down the best I’ve had this side of, well, Italy. The oysters are my favorite in Indy, always perfectly shucked, and the wine list makes me grin every time I spot my favorite Vermentino. You don’t have to be a neighbor to feel like one once you’re at Bocca!“

It is a small area to sit in, but we went on a late Monday morning to which it was not as busy! The latte I had was filled with good flavor! And Alex got a smoothie which I had to try and it was amazing! He loved it as well! The barista was so beyond friendly! Very top notch! Good vibes and wonderful drinks! Definitely recommend! “My girlfriends and I have known Joe for many years- from when he worked at Buck Creek Winery. He is The BEST! Now that I have finally visited the shop 2 days in a row- I know why everyone raves about Heartland. Last night there was a great crew working! The teens were very personable and friendly. They offered us a sample. Everything tasted sooo good. If you know how great Joe is- you won't be surprised that he has a phenomenal group of employees representing his shop. As for the ice cream...my youngest son LOVED the Superman. I chose Cornbread and Coffee Cookie. Sooooo good! You HAVE to try the Cornbread ice cream! It is the most unique, delicious ice cream ever! I had to get it again today. My oldest son came this time and he sampled Cornbread. He liked it so much- that is what he ordered, too! The Cookies and Cream is also to die for! I love how easy it is to sign up for the rewards program. We also loved how many options we had to choose from on the menu. If I can ever tear myself away from the Cornbread ice cream- I would like to try the Italian Ice. It was great to see you today, Joe! What a wonderful business you are building. A few weeks ago, we had dinner for a friend's birthday. Overall, a party of around 8-10 on a Sunday night. We had a fantastic server all evening, who was attentive and had good humor. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was so nice and cozy.
It was the first time I've been there in many, many years, and I don't know why we don't try to visit more often.“

The drinks were fairly priced, but was sad they were out of rootbeer. Main issues: not enough restrooms & at least for this event they didn't have enough bartender for the size. Will probably look for other show or event to justify coming out this far north.“

“Just had an extremely tasty breakfast eating in at Open Kitchen at 10th and Drexel. Best biscuits and gravy I have ever had at a restaurant. Slightly spicy-Huge portions everything homemade. The place is very small with 2 four tops and 3 or 4 two tops. It took quite a while to get the food because they make everything fresh but it was well worth it! They do carry out as well as Grub Hub and Door Dash. They also have lunch and dinner which I can’t wait to try.“
