I would definitely pick McDonald's food and prices over Culver's. I'd be glad to go to DQ over Culvers because the food is so much better. “This place was a joke took my daughter for lunch ordered a hot dog special wanted to add cheese (to pay extra) and he said they won’t add cheese on specials. Smh well now I see why this place is always dead. The man at the front register was super rude mumbling to me about cheese as I told my daughter let’s go. Excellent cusotmer service“

“Pretty typical Firehouse Subs. If you are in a hurry call ahead. Everyone except me ordered ahead. I had a 15 minute wait. If I wasn't on my way to work it wouldn't have mattered. “I find it wild that im doing a review for a McDonalds, but here we are. I have eaten at tons of McD's in Ontario, and never thought twice about the experience, but our visit to this location in Portage was exceptional. We were driving back home from Chicago to Ontario, and stopped in here to stretch our legs and get some food. Food was good, consistent with all McD's, and filled our bellies. The service however was exceptional. Not once, but twice, we had staff come up to us to ask how was our meal, and offer refills for our drinks. They approached us with a smile and kindness, which is awesome, truly above and beyond expectations. So kudos to the front of house staff who were working around 11am on Monday October 28th, please pass on our thanks and congratulations on making a simple stop for weary travelers, into something exceptional.“

“I would add a photo, but the food was so good that we ate it before I remembered to give a review. The ladies working were quick and worked fast to make sure we got our food in a timely matter. One of the cleaner subway restaurants I’ve seen and the food was pretty good and tasted fresh. Workers seemed like sweet and genuine people.“
