After we paid for our food, the manager gave her a cookie "for being a good friend." As we left the store, my daughter looked up at me and smiled saying, "Yes. Friend complete!" (She says this every time she has a honestly good encounter with a new acquaintance.)“

“McAlister’s has been nothing but a blessing for our family since 2012.

For 13 years, we have been at this restaurant sharing fellowship with friends over sweet teas, playing board games on their four-chair flattop tables late into the evening on date nights, grading homework and writing lessons, and getting to know the people who serve at McAlister’s.

It’s become a second home for us, and I felt the need to write a small review on Google to share the joy it is to be a part of a company that cares and commits to high quality service in all they do.

When my wife and I were backpacking Europe, we loved the cafes to sit and eat and enjoy the areas we were exploring. In the States, cafes are not really a staple in communities like they are in places like London or France. I can still remember walking to a café on a Sunday night full of crowded people still having a merry time with family and friends. Our culture isn’t in the same sort of social capital, but man, we ache for those experiences.

McAlister’s provides that sense of nostalgia for our traveling in the sense that it brings great crowds of people after church on Sundays, opens its door until late in the evening, and always has a caring staff to connect and share life with. We always found a space each week to connect with the people who serve in this establishment, and it’s the reason why we’ve been going for so many years.

From Brendan Shupe, the current general manager, sharing tips to his employees in personal finance or celebrating the birth of Chris’s son, Henry, there are people there who are deeply rooted to serving others the sweet tea goodness, laughs, and a simply ‘hug’ in food.

I know that there are so many places we can try and experience in this very competitive market and world in the States, but McAlister’s has done something truly unique for us.

They set a high standard of an atmosphere that transcends restaurant into a place of comfort and feeling of home.

For that, we’ll be entertaining ourselves in their ‘café’ for unforeseeable future!

“Clean. The food was delicious. My steak and cheese was not cooked all the way (seemed raw) and I took it up. They apologizes and remade it right away. It was perfect even though lots of other had just come in. Well handled. Would eat again.“

“The night staff (9 pm) on 11/22/2025 at this Westfield location should get a raise for the level of care they put into my family’s food order. They were friendly when I called my order in, took time to make our food orders when we arrived, and these are the best sandwiches I have ever had since I have ordered at this location. Excellent service and highly recommend! Way to go Penn Station staff!“

“I was just so glad to eat this awesome sub this big fella made me. I think his name wasdrew(Andrew page, 6’4 1/2 330 LB’s) made me a meaty 12 incher and I enjoyed every last bite of it. God bless you drew, never been so full of meat like that in my life!“

“Food is good... the Walmart Subway location in Noblesville is meant to only be a carryout only location with the lack of indoor seating. But it is convenient if you are doing your grocery shopping at Walmart anyway. If you are wanting to dine in, you're better off going over to the Retail Center location just around the corner from Walmart... other than that service is great and food is good!“

“The sandwiches are typically consistent and good here. The soda from the fountain is actually great. I order through the app and the food is always ready when I get there. Unfortunately, the app has some hiccups and for several orders I have not been able to receive my rewards points.“

“This was one of the nicest, cleanest, and most friendly Subway that I ever dined at. My wife and I were greeted by the staff, and we both enjoyed tuna salads. We were on the road traveling, and this location was easy to reach off and onto Highway 31.“

“This location is always very fast. However, in the past 6 months, seemingly, each time I pick up sandwiches, I end up with at least one sandwich being completely wrong. I'm not certain what has caused the change but it leaves much to be desired.“
