“Only leaving this review because they surprised me. I tried them for the first time and the food was so unbelievably fresh for a Chinese restaurant. While it could’ve used more seasoning it’s so fresh tasting I don’t mind. So Just use the soy sauce packets for extra seasoning.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. The food is ALWAYS delicious. The owners are ALWAYS pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean, and that is a big plus. Their orders are very fulfilling. I've also never received a wrong order. They absolutely care about their patrons, and that means a great deal. “I am so glad they were able to reopen. Due to the passing of the previous owner last year, they closed their doors. My husband and I had just discovered them and was so excited to find a Chinese restaurant we truly enjoy. The very next day January 1st 2024, they announced their closure ( we get Chinese New Years Eve and we got it from here). “I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to try this place for their lunch special. It comes with shrimp fried rice, combination egg roll, and a few options for a main dish. I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was tasty, tender, and a bit spicy. The food was fresh and delicious. However, I do wish they had shrimp egg rolls as I’m not a fan of the combination egg rolls. Nonetheless, I enjoyed everything for just under $10. I will definitely go again when in this area.“

“We came here because a friend recommended it and oh my god we loved the orange chicken and the chicken noodle soup so good. We also loved our drinks we had the honey lemonade and the strawberry smoothie. Update: We tried the crab ragoons and they were AWESOME!!! I've never tasted crab ragoons like that so yummy 😋“

“I would’ve gave them 5 stars because the food is great and the service was great too. However, I ordered Shrimp fried rice and they add beef and chicken to it. I had to pick the chicken and beef out of my fried rice while eating it. Other than that everything was good. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long while. Now I know to check my order before I leave the restaurant.“

“I cant say that ive ever had a bad experience with C&J, they are one of the two Chinese Restaurants in the area that i frequent the most... I believe ive been C&J's longest running customer since it first opened back in 2009 or 2010 if im not mistaken, they were so good at service their delivery guys use to recognize me at different addresses lol... I can say that everything from their General Tso Chicken, to the Orange Chicken,
to the Bourbon Chicken, to the Kung Pao Chicken, to the Egg Foo Yung, to the Steamed Dumplings and Pot Stickers ARE ALL EXCEPTIONAL AND WELL PREPARED. I hope that they can continue to give us the same quality of service for years to come without having to price gouge like other restaurants... Theres nothing but love from me for C&J's ?“

“I stopped going to Hoe Toy, which is kind of close to this Grand Chinese Kitchen, because Hoe Toy' s employees tend to be rude sometimes, and their food isn't as good as Grand Chinese Kitchen, I love going to Grand Chinese Kitchen, their food taste better, you get plenty, and the employees are very friendly!“

“chicken fried rice had no flavor, all i tasted was eggs and bean sprout. Their crab ragoons are okay but the sauce they give you with it is like jelly its super thick likes it syrup or something. They're very fast at serving you your food, but they lack flavor and are cutting corners with their store bought sauce. If i wanted to eat over priced ragoons i couldve made them myself. The workers are great but im not crazy over the food. Its edible that's about it

“I was a restaurant kid, where my dad owned an American Chinese restaurant while we grew up. I helped out as a kid since it was our family restaurant and l love eating American Chinese food. It has a special place in my heart. We moved away from Chinatown, so after moving south, I needed to find a new place for my cravings, and this place is really good and hits the spot. Shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, and shrimp egg foo young were excellent. Egg rolls were okay. Definitely will be coming back.“

“Food was wonderful and the lady behind the counter was super nice. I was over an hour late picking up my order because of unforeseen delays, and she made sure that everything was hot when I got there. They definitely prefer cash which is understandable seeing as credit cards charge them money. I'll be back. Food was incredible.“

“We live right down the street so this is spot is near and dear. I just got the lunch special general tso and lemon fish and they were excellent. The fish was so gooood. Egg roll and rice were spot on too. My husband took a picture of the Teamsters Local 710 sticker on their door. He is in 710 and a truck driver for UPS.
