“Only leaving this review because they surprised me. I tried them for the first time and the food was so unbelievably fresh for a Chinese restaurant. While it could’ve used more seasoning it’s so fresh tasting I don’t mind. So Just use the soy sauce packets for extra seasoning.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. The food is ALWAYS delicious. The owners are ALWAYS pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean, and that is a big plus. Their orders are very fulfilling. I've also never received a wrong order. They absolutely care about their patrons, and that means a great deal. I live in Chicago, and have a Chinese food restaurant in walking distance from my residence, but I come here, and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else“

“I am so glad they were able to reopen. Due to the passing of the previous owner last year, they closed their doors. My husband and I had just discovered them and was so excited to find a Chinese restaurant we truly enjoy. The very next day January 1st 2024, they announced their closure ( we get Chinese New Years Eve and we got it from here). “I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to try this place for their lunch special. It comes with shrimp fried rice, combination egg roll, and a few options for a main dish. I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was tasty, tender, and a bit spicy. The food was fresh and delicious. However, I do wish they had shrimp egg rolls as I’m not a fan of the combination egg rolls. Nonetheless, I enjoyed everything for just under $10. I will definitely go again when in this area.“

“Vegetarian options: They can make any entree per your request. We often order Singapore Noodles without any meat or eggs.

Dietary restrictions: They will make entrees to my request. For example I order chicken and broccoli steamed instead of with gravy and I have them make spicy ?“

“This my third time eating from this place food on point only one thing I would say don’t buy broccoli with chicken that’s not really taste of chicken other than that food is great and they chop up meat if you ask

Parking: Small lot in front of stores for shoppers but not a big lot“

“Best best pho ever. I get pho combo each time. Egg rolls are delicious and wings are delicious I always come here for a few years now. Pleasant servers. Cordial and accommodating.“

“Order for delivery at 4:30 and Tim? (name on receipt) you can tell he was a bit overwhelmed. Let him know he did an amazing job and we appreciate him. I was sketchy about ordering the egg foo young cause it can be a hit or miss but, it was really good today so much flavor. Thank you for that.

2/24/25: Service was great, food came in hot and fresh. We tried Yu shen beef, not spicy at all, lots of fresh vegetables, beef was extremely soft in a brown sweet and sour sauce. Also ordered Beef with green beans and it was just as good. Since I can’t write multiple reviews on Google, I’ll just update it from my original post. Thank you!“

“I cant say that ive ever had a bad experience with C&J, they are one of the two Chinese Restaurants in the area that i frequent the most... I believe ive been C&J's longest running customer since it first opened back in 2009 or 2010 if im not mistaken, they were so good at service their delivery guys use to recognize me at different addresses lol... I can say that everything from their General Tso Chicken, to the Orange Chicken,
to the Bourbon Chicken, to the Kung Pao Chicken, to the Egg Foo Yung, to the Steamed Dumplings and Pot Stickers ARE ALL EXCEPTIONAL AND WELL PREPARED. I hope that they can continue to give us the same quality of service for years to come without having to price gouge like other restaurants... Theres nothing but love from me for C&J's ?“

“I would’ve gave them 5 stars because the food is great and the service was great too. However, I ordered Shrimp fried rice and they add beef and chicken to it. I had to pick the chicken and beef out of my fried rice while eating it. Other than that everything was good. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long while. Now I know to check my order before I leave the restaurant.“

“I ordered egg foo young extra spicy spicy spicy and also chicken fried rice spicy there was nothing spicy about my order. I called first they said they’ll come back and get the order and fix it right then they called me back and asked me would chili oil or pepper or whatever they use would be OK and I said yes, they did not send enough for the order that I had only thing about this place that I really enjoy was the delivery driver don’t get me wrong. The flavors were there but I love my spicy if it wasn’t for Enrique, the delivery guy I would’ve been totally pissed. Thanks Enrique. Stay safe out there . I’ll give them a four out of five if my spicy was there it would’ve been 100%.“

“chicken fried rice had no flavor, all i tasted was eggs and bean sprout. Their crab ragoons are okay but the sauce they give you with it is like jelly its super thick likes it syrup or something. They're very fast at serving you your food, but they lack flavor and are cutting corners with their store bought sauce. If i wanted to eat over priced ragoons i couldve made them myself. The workers are great but im not crazy over the food. Its edible that's about it
