“I know... what am I doing in English, Indiana? Lol, visiting the beautiful Patoka Lake, of course. Woke up and wanted breakfast! I'm a sucker for mom and pop shops, so the kid and I ventured through the beautiful countryside and found this hidden gem. We had something extremely basic, but those pancakes had to have been flipped by God himself! They were fluffy, hot, crispy, and buttery! The bacon was crispy and incredibly flavorful. I almost wanted to ask if someone was in the back slicing up the pig's stomach. Before we left, we got a togo for my better half. All I'm gonna say is get the cheese steak! They forgot the cheese, but by the time it was noticed, the sandwich was gone. We left there full and in great spirits! Good job y'all!“

“Made a little trip from across the river early in the day, thinking it wouldn't be too busy. WRONG!! The place was packed! The wait wasn't too bad, about 30 minutes and we got to meet the new owner while we waited. I could tell right away that she's very passionate about her restaurant and she will be adding new items to the menu. The fried chicken is the most popular item, but I got the tenders and I was not disappointed with my choice! Huge pieces of tender white meat with a crispy coating. Too much to eat with two sides and a soft roll (the size of a hamburger bun). They have quite a few items on their dessert menu. The Hummingbird cake with its cream cheese frosting was delicious!“

“Overpriced for one thing along with meat that Looked and tasted like it was days old and pie Crust you couldn’t cut with a fork. I wanted to Go because of a variety of food but we could have had a nice steak dinner for the price.“

We got breakfast and was really pleased with everything. The portions were just right and the prices were very friendly!

We had to wait a little bit with empty coffee cups.
