Heat was intense, table was so loose we would not be able to hold it and eat, and table was covered with some sticky substance. We would have asked to move but nobody came to the table. So we left. “We really like coming here and will continue however I have noticed that the tables are not wipe down from employees regularly just watch everyone’s reaction when it’s sticky on there tables i seriously got a large amount of a sticky arm I did not see it there and asked if they could wet a napkin for me the water fountain is turned off the manager had a short get together with the girls shaking his head no , they offered a cup of water, thank you I love my wife she wiped the other tables also I’m sure this was a health risk to ask for a wet towel and I apologized“

“The owner and his staff are very friendly. The restaurant is really clean on the inside. The first time I ordered, I got a rib tip dinner with greens and Mac and cheese. The second time, I only ordered rib tips and one of the staff asked me did I want sides. I told them no because I had sides at home. I let them know that the Mac and cheese was not so great and the owner came out and apologized for that and gave me a free slice of cake to make up. I thought that was really nice of him. He told me that he appreciated my feedback. I still visit every weekend and I get rib tips, greens and potato salad now and a slice of cake but I gotta get it early before it sells out.“

“A continence store that sells halal fried chicken and other southern style foods. The food is quite cheap but it is still tasty. There is absolutely no seating available here, but you can pick up the food at any time as it is offered 24 hours a day.

Basically just eggs on a bed of bland sausage and potatoes with dollops of sour cream and guacamole. Nothing about it was even remotely recognizable as Huevos Rancheros. I did sample other's dishes. The Shrimp and Grits were delicious, as well as the smoked wings, and the bread pudding was very good. I'll likely return, but will definitely never order the Huevos again.“

“It's rare that we have a date night on a weekday with two young children, but tonight was the exception. When I realized our anniversary was falling on a Wednesday, Perso was the first place that came to mind. Perso's Prix Fixe Menú is available every Sunday through Wednesday and offers a three course meal for $29. It's no secret that I'm a fine dining enthusiast; but who doesn't love a bargain? If you're looking for a nice night out without breaking the bank, this is your spot. Perso sits at the corner of Oak and Shelby in the same location as the former Square Cut Pizza. The giant windows in the front provide an abundance of natural light. The interior has a modern industrial vibe with painted exposed brick, plants, and Edison bulbs hanging on pendants. One wall with wooden slats gives a Scandinavian feel to the main dining area. It's a small-ish intimate space with a beautiful patio. For my first course, I chose Crostino Di Tonno- olive oil poached tuna, stracciatella, pickled celery, and Calabrian chili. I followed my first course with olive oil poached swordfish, corn chowder, and golden zucchini scapece. For dessert, I had the chef's choice: apple strudel with whipped cream cheese. My husband chose heirloom tomato with roasted eggplant, bagna couda, and fine herbs. For his main course, he had pork tenderloin with edamame, beef dashi, and fine herbs. We both opted for the chef's choice for dessert. I tasted each of his courses and they were every bit as delicious as my own. The edamame provided the perfect texture and his tenderloin dashi tasted gravy-esque without being overly heavy. Mostly notable, besides the insane deal for such decadence, was the fresh flavor combinations throughout. Our table had fresh rosemary as a centerpiece. The corn chowder was right up my alley. I could've licked my bowl if I wasn't trying to pretend to have a bit of class. The swordfish was tender, juicy, and not overly fishy. The tuna flatbread was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The mint on top of my whipped cream cheese truly set it apart. My lavender Manhattan was earthy and smoky, not just in flavor. It was literally smoking. My husband had an old-fashioned. Neither of us were disappointed. Our server, Amanda, was phenomenal. She offered recommendations. She visited our table to ensure we were satisfied the perfect number of times. Her warm demeanor was professional while also being personable. She was everything we hope for in a server. Perso's Sunday through Wednesday Prix Fixe Menú is hands-down one of the best opportunities for an affordable night out. That being said, once you get a taste of what they have to offer, you'll be sold on splurging any day of the week.“

They were hot seasoned and delicious, just like Grannies were back in the day. “Despite the other reviews, posting this out of my ordering experience (POV, ordered around 8, almost 8:30pm ish).

There's not much staff out since its not very active is my guess. Though once someone was finally able to come, I was treated very fairly. You go to the hostess stand to order actual food (10-20 a person depending on what you get, the pasta I ordered was actually 30 bucks) on a menu given. It's mostly burgers, fried food, pizza, pasta, that kind of thing. Kids menu too!

They unfortunately didn't have change for my 100 at the tether, but the hostess was very determined to be able to help and ran around to get it, bless her heart. Wish I got her name.

All in all, as someone who has worked in the food business, very great vibes that they're doing their best for having so little staff. Keep it up!

Ate real scrambled eggs and real hickory smoked bacon. Greens were great. Beef brisket was tender, juicy and flavorful. Service was exceptional. Cody was our server and he was very attentive - clearing used dishes and keeping our water glasses full. Overall a great restaurant!!“
