This was one of my favorite places we ate on our road trip. The food was fantastic and it was so fun to have some derby drinks.
Def overpriced for the food, but honestly really good for cafe food. Had to try the Kentucky foods but they were goodd.

Derby Café & Bourbon Bar is a popular spot near Churchill Downs, offering cafe-style food and Kentucky specialties. The Hot brown panini and burgoo soup receive high praise for their quality and flavor, with some reviews noting the prices are a bit high for the food. The Derby Pie Tart and baked potato with brisket are also enjoyed. The establishment has a nice setting with plenty of seating and fast, friendly service, making it a good stop after touring Churchill Downs. Customers appreciate the strong mint julep and the Derby Pie, though some find the prices steep. Overall, it’s a fun place to try Kentucky foods and enjoy a drink, especially with good service and a lively atmosphere.
