“usually go to this panda at least once a month and in the past year have been really disappointed with the portions of noodles and cabbage in the chow mein it's always way too much cabbage!!! but whoever was cooking today 5/10 needs a raise because this was the perfect amount of noodles and barely any cabbage which is what i am always hoping for!! my orange chicken and honey sesame chicken were also sauced to perfection. if y'all could be like this every time you'd be golden 😩🙏“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. The food is ALWAYS delicious. The owners are ALWAYS pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant is ALWAYS clean, and that is a big plus. Their orders are very fulfilling. I've also never received a wrong order. They absolutely care about their patrons, and that means a great deal. I live in Chicago, and have a Chinese food restaurant in walking distance from my residence, but I come here, and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else“

“I am so glad they were able to reopen. Due to the passing of the previous owner last year, they closed their doors. My husband and I had just discovered them and was so excited to find a Chinese restaurant we truly enjoy. The very next day January 1st 2024, they announced their closure ( we get Chinese New Years Eve and we got it from here). I came here after an event for a lunch and luckily has a seat and table. They should clear up and allow sitting space for customers to sit and eat. My food came out fresh and the orange chicken was great. I will come back if in the area. Prices were very fair.“

“C & J has the best mixed vegetables, fried rice, egg rolls, & sesame chicken. & you can get a meal for a reasonable price. My mother introduced me to this place when I was a little girl. She would get the sweet & sour chicken w/ eggrolls to share with me. Now I've introduced my child to C& J. It still tastes the same. 10/10!“

“We have ordered a few times from here and they never disappoint. I am highly allergic to anything sesame seeds, sesame oil etc. every time we order we explain to them my allergy. The girls at front desk were great they took my order and told the chef and they came back letting me know that they will not cross contaminate. Very clean very attentive and I highly recommend. “I would’ve gave them 5 stars because the food is great and the service was great too. However, I ordered Shrimp fried rice and they add beef and chicken to it. I had to pick the chicken and beef out of my fried rice while eating it. Other than that everything was good. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long while. “Food was wonderful and the lady behind the counter was super nice. I was over an hour late picking up my order because of unforeseen delays, and she made sure that everything was hot when I got there. They definitely prefer cash which is understandable seeing as credit cards charge them money. I'll be back. Food was incredible.“

“I love this Chinese restaurant! It’s my favorite around. I always try something new each time and have never not like anything.“

“First of all, if you want Chinese take out for less than $10 for a combo plate, you probably are thinking pre covid prices. However if you want your stir fry on a budget, you can have it here. The combos during the lunch hour are around $8 before taxes without drink.

For that price, the food is pretty good. Portions are a little smaller than some places but still filling. Flavors are lighter, so if you want a kick, ask. The egg roll is a little soft inside but decent. Above, for a price below what you will pay at EVERY FAST FOOD PLACE NEARBY, you get good fare. ( sorry for the caps, but I read a few reviews and people are just too demanding these days.)

Staff is undermanned, so expect a wait. You pay in time, not so much in dollars. No dine in service, but this is common to all chinese take out locally at present (deal with it. Most of you whiners don't understand price point at restaurants.). The staff, however, is very friendly and accommodating and will work with you. You can't ask for more.

Seriously. It's chinese stir fry on a budget and it delivers on that promise. Worth considering for a lunch plate.

Vegetarian options: Mandarin stir fry. Vegetarian options are available.

Parking: Parking is ample for expected traffic.“

“We’ve been eating there for years. They know us by name, voice & order. We use to love Kowloon In Schererville until they closed & have been going to #1 Chop Suey ever since!!!! They work very hard to make us happy!!! We love them. 💞“

“Forget Panda Express, and even a few local Chinese places, we will be coming here instead. It was super fresh and the ladies were super sweet, and gave me a few samples to see what I liked. The honey lemon chicken is amazing. Didn't expect it for mall food. Prices were that of Panda but they loaded the box, we got the number three combo and I shared it with my toddler and I still have leftovers.“

“We live right down the street so this is spot is near and dear. I just got the lunch special general tso and lemon fish and they were excellent. The fish was so gooood. Egg roll and rice were spot on too. My husband took a picture of the Teamsters Local 710 sticker on their door. He is in 710 and a truck driver for UPS.
