“My wife and I enjoyed a drink and a meal before a Thursday evening concert at the nearby Bluegate Theater. The Bang Bang Shrimp salad was fantastic and my wife enjoyed her Fish/Fries basket. Unless you are a huge eater, the lunch sized shrimp salad was quite large and more than enough to satisfy my appetite. The place was packed and loud. Our drinks took a bit to arrive but that was due to the busyness. I had a double Eagle Rare bourbon and my wife had a Tito's and Tonic, both reasonably priced ($15 and $7). I can never get Eagle Rare any longer so I was pleased to see it here. We will definitely stop here again when we are in the area.“
“Sorry no pictures because we cleaned our plates. Portobello fries were super crunchy and tasty. I had the Bacons my Jam burger. Every bite was delicious. My husband ate the moo oink and said it was great. Burgers were cooked perfectly and not dried out. Staff is super friendly.“
“Delicious, ordered Coffee, 1/2 order Biscuits and Gravy, 2 eggs over easy, and sausage. Omg, 2 full biscuits, sausage gravy filled the plate. Got 2 sausage patties instead of the usual 1 from other restaurants. It's in the Boonies along US 20, small place. But Well Worth the Stop! Oh, and the price was less than $15. But in this Biden Economy that's Dirt cheap for All you get... I'll definitely be stopping my next time thru. I hear the Ice Cream place in back has the Best Ice Cream along US 20...????“
“Update: The last couple times we were there the dinner rolls were so dry and hard you couldn't even eat them. Went up and asked for a different one today but it was as bad as the first. Sad because they used to be fresh and fluffy but not now. The rest of the food was good.Cheerful atmosphere, good service, and of course the frozen custard is great!“
“I've driven by this place many times and thought of stopping everytime I did. Now I wish I had! My wife had the oyster stew with the salmon, both of which were delicious, and I had the fried chicken. It was quite possibly the best fried chicken I have ever had! Even my moms grilled club sandwich was a few steps above your average sandwich. Can't wait to go back“
“A typical "Mom and Pop" restaurant, but GREAT service and DELICIOUS food!!!! We had a homemade pizza that was some of the best my traveling buddy and I had ever had. The restaurant was hoppin' the whole time we were there! Everything that came from the kitchen looked DELICIOUS.
