“I ordered 2 pans of rib tips and potato salad for a birthday party. They were prompt with my order and the guests loved the ribs! They couldn't stop talking about the way they were cut and tender. I was equally impressed by the potato salad because everyone doesn't make it the same way. I will be returning soon“

“We tried @halfliter_bbq in #Indianapolis, and this is what we rated them. A couple of things first. It was their Octoberfest, so they were very busy. Even with that, the food was out in 6 minutes! Brisket 8.5. Bark was very good, and the meat fell apart. Pork 7.8. Smoked well, was just dry Chicken Breast 8.8 Best thing we tried here for sure. Smoked wings 6.5. Very good flavor, but it was super dry Turkey. 7.9. Thick and smoked well, just a little to dry for us Sausage 8.0. Good flavor with a little heat Also, the pickled onions were outstanding. “I haven’t been to Big Walt’s since I was in my teens I remember when he first opened. Surprisingly the food is still good like it was back then…eating this food felt so nostalgic. The customer service was great, they smiled and made small talk with me. I noticed they allowed a lot of businesses to put their flyers and business cards up I thought that was really nice support of the local entrepreneurs. I asked for a 10 piece bbq and buffalo wing light sauce and it was great. Also got a personal meat lovers with extra sauce, sausage and cheese. It was really good but Ima have to ask them for more than that on my next visit I like my pizza loaded on some Xtrodinary pizza type…I would’ve gave them 5 stars but I think the owner should add more lights out front and security at night. As a woman alone I didn’t feel safe going in with so many random men standing outside. I noticed another woman who looked nervous as well and she repositioned her truck to be right in front of the door. I seriously contemplated on leaving my order…We want good food but we want to feel safe as well.

Ps. I’m not quite sure how my order came up to over $30 if the wings are .89 cent a piece and a personal all meat is $8??? I normally tip but it seems like they added it for me so I didn’t, next time I will get my receipt“

“A solid 4 across the board. Could be slightly larger portions. The cook was upset that they had takeout order scheduled ahead for turkey and had run out without having the pre-scheduled order. I felt bad for the lady who said she had a very restricted diet and could only eat certain things. I also tried to sit outside and they told me I couldn't because they wanted to clean it but I have no grievances for that i just wish it didnt happen while I was there lol.“

“I ordered ahead for curbside pickup. Finished my errands and I arrived about 30 minutes early. I was just going to wait, but app notified them I was there. Five minutes later they brought out my food. We love everything, but especially the brisket and smoked turkey. And their banana pudding is delicious.“

“I went for the first time today and got the hot lamb plate. Absolutely delicious. The lamb is seasoned well and tender, the bread was great, and the dipping sauce was on point. The yams were also delicious. The man running the spot was cool, too. Definitely pop in for a meal that won't let you down. I'll have to go back to try the ribs.“

“Visited tonight and had the ribs and the barbecue chicken quesadilla. Both were sublime. The ribs were smoky and tender, and the sauce was delicious. The chicken in the quesadilla was perfectly cooked and paired well with the Chipotle sauce. Loved it all“

Andrew and closing manager Deonte were two of the kindest and most hospitable guys I’ve ever met in the food industry! I ordered corn bread and it accidentally got sold so Andrew gave me a free banana pudding and when I went to use my $5 rewards coupon Deonte told me I could just keep it for the inconvenience! “Let me start by saying...WOW! This place is by far one of the best and most authentic Barbecue joints this side of Beale Street. The ribs are tender and swimming in a sauce so good it can only be handmade. The sides leave nothing to want for and the staff is just as sweet as the sweet potato pie. Hands down the best place for ribs in the state, they must animals volunteering to lay on that smoker because they know a pit master when they see one! 10/10“

“Went to Longhorn on Southport last night. Everyone was friendly & service oriented. Our service staff included Princess who did an excellent job, ensuring our food was great, drinks full, and even brought my daughter a piece of strawberry cheesecake as we were celebrating wedding planning! My steak was cooked perfectly and don’t sleep on their stuffed mushrooms. Yum! It really seemed the employees enjoy working there and the food was superb. Wonderful dinner & dining experience. He made sure he secured the last sweet potato cheesecake since what I originally ordered was discontinued. Our order was taken right away snd it did not take long for our food to be delivered to our tsble. We were checked on throughout our meal. I ordered the tips which were well seasoned and tender, collard greens and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious .
