About P.F. Chang's

P.F. Chang's offers friendly service with hard-working employees, although some customers can get impatient with the made-to-order system. The prices can be a bit high, with unexpected additional charges. The portions are generous, but some find the dishes overloaded with unnecessary ingredients. The drink options are limited, but the food is tasty. Despite being understaffed at times, the service is still satisfactory. Customers with gluten allergies, like sensitive celiacs, have had positive experiences without any issues. However, recent experiences have raised concerns. Some diners reported receiving lukewarm food and facing delays in service, even when the restaurant was not busy. Issues with reservations have also been noted, where guests were left waiting despite available tables. On a positive note, a standout server has been praised for his excellent service, managing to keep guests happy despite the busy atmosphere. Overall, P.F. Chang's still aims to provide a satisfying dining experience, but recent feedback suggests that improvements are needed in service consistency.

Our experience didn't start well. 9:15 pm reservation , got there 5 minutes early and was told 10 maybe 15 to be seated. Didn't get seated until 9:42. Sat for 10 minutes without anyone coming to the table. When Isaac did make to the table, I was quite frank explained our disappointment thus far. Isaac apologized and brought out cold glasses of water and explained he had 2 large party tables. He took our order, was interested in who we were and what we were doing. Best food experience in Indianapolis so far (Italians coming to’ Indianapolis for Gen Con… so quite a special perspective).

Pad Thay was delicious and the place welcoming and chic.
The food was really good! The pastries were delicious, and the house beer was a great choice. I also enjoyed the edamame while waiting for the main course. If you're looking for vegetarian options, the Magnolia tofu is definitely worth trying, followed by the lettuce wraps.
