“Excellent place for a meal. Staff is friendly and fast! We've never had a bad meal here and we come here a lot. Menu is diverse but good in all areas. Portions are large so definitely worth the value. I've had normal burgers and sandwiches as well as the full dinners, all were good! Owner always stops by the table to see how the meal is going. Support staff are quick to clean away dishes and glasses so the table is already clean. Only knock is that sometimes the food comes too fast salads came right after we got the apps and we were still eating salads when entrees showed up so we had apps, salads and mains all on the table at once.“

There was hardly any meat in it and the Mac and cheese was meh. I feel it is very over priced for the quantity. Probably won't return.“

“well first bad meal ever at B33. onion rings not cooked enough. ordered traditional hot wings they brought teriyaki hot, pizza had thrown on top raw peppers and tomatoes. we were too worn out to push issues from Indy 500. mentioned to waitress no compensation offered even said " I don't know what the wings looked like, and never saw a pizza B33 look like that. been there 5 times before to flawless meals but this one was disappointing. 1 star.“

I love the setup at this location—you talk to someone at the window to place and pay for your order, then move up to wait for your food. It’s such a quick, easy, and convenient process! “On my way home saw the The Soul Food Shack sign. So I stopped in. Very clean professional looking establishment. A very friendly young lady came out to inquire how could she help. So very pleasant. I ordered the Smothered pork chops with collard greens and fried potatoes. Husband and I surely enjoyed this meal. Chops and greens were on point. Potatoes had a great flavor but just a little mushy. Whatever I was truly impressed.“

“I had the pleasure of having food catered from this woman's restaurant where I volunteer 2 times a week. We had yams, collard greens, salad with dressing, catfish, chicken, rolls, mac & cheese and cheese cake & cupcakes for desert. The food was so incredibly awesome. This was a true soul food experience. I met the chef in person and she's the kindest person I've met in awhile. So we will definitely be going to her restaurant in the near future. “The food is always fresh and made to order. We used the drive thru and waited a short period of time as it was past prime dinner time/rush.

Parking: The drive thru lines are extremely long and wrap around the building and onto the side street during typical lunch and dinner hours. With food all made fresh at ordering, it can be a pretty substantial wait time to order and get through the line. The food is worth the wait if you have plenty of time. There is ample parking but sometimes the drive thru can impede getting to spots to park.“

“I absolutely love and see if you're looking for home cooked food..
The only thing I would say is it is pretty expensive. 2 people is about 40 or 50 bucks. The food is amazing tho. I think the portions of the meat especially could be bigger especially for the price.
The service is amazing they now have people come to the table and ask how your food is and bringing napkins if you need them and that's really nice.. and please remember to tip the servers. Most places don't even pay them $5.00 an hour and waitress tips get taxes also!!!“

I went with my sister and dad tonight to commemorate 10 years of my mom’s passing. Our server, Heath, maybe did the math when “anniversary” was on our reservation… either way we felt above and beyond cared for during our dinner. Happy in our decision of where to go for such an occasion!“
