“I ate at outcast Wednesday. I would call to make a reservation and i would get hung up on, The host wasn't at the stand for around 10 minutes. the bathrooms were trashed and the host girl was rude to me. I've asked for the manager and I was told to leave. terrible service”

“My boyfriend and I drive out of town about 40 minutes because this is our absolute favorite spot! The ambiance is wonderful, service is always nothing but great, and the fish is DELICIOUS!! The freshest sushi I’ve ever tasted in the area. The escolar is always a go to. I happily spend a decent amount here and take a roll home as well. Charlie has always been our server, by coincidence but he is always on top of it!! I can tell this business has a great team by how well everything comes out. Servers don’t auction off items, everyone is super polite, food comes out in a timely manner. I’ve been coming here for years and have consistently seen, for the most part, the same servers and that says A LOT in the service industry! Keep doing you guys!”

“The Earl is one of those rare places that hits the sweet spot between dive bar and craft beer hangout, without trying too hard. In the middle of downtown New Albany, it’s got a industrial interior with brick walls, rough hardwood floors, and exposed beams, that still manages to feel warm and personal, im sure helped by the Bill Murray mural and fridge shrine dedicated to him. It’s weird, it’s charming, and it totally works.

Their rotating lineup of local and regional craft beers is always on point. You’ll find something familiar like Country Boy, but also a few wildcards you’ve never seen before. It’s perfect for after work or a laid-back late night drink.

On a personal note, this is where I first told my girlfriend, now wife, that I was falling in love with her. So yeah, for all the cool beers and eccentric charm, and even Bill Murray, I can personally attest that The Earl is also the kind of place where memories are made and actually stick. Can’t recommend it enough!”

“My wife Brittany and I stopped in on May 10. The restaurant was packed with only a few seats at the bar. It looked like the hot spot for pre prom dinner. The waitresses were working their tails off trying to keep up and we were very patient. Boy did that patience pay off. Sarah was finally able to ask what drinks we would like. I teased her that water would be great if we ever get it. lol. Sarah immediately new we were kidding and fired back with a little sarcasm of her own. She was wonderful the entire. Sarah brought our bread out. It was very good, but the sauce for dipping was the highlite. Sarah made some recommendations, as we were first time diners. I had chicken parm and my wife ordered eggplant parm. We loved both dishes. Great attention to detail was taken in preparation and appearance. It looked better than any food I have ever seen pictured in a menu, and tasted even better. We followed dinner with chocolate cake and a raspberry sauce that still makes our mouths water. It was so food, we ordered more to take back to the hotel. I would say it is the best little spot in New Albany! Sarah's service and playful personality was the best part of our evening. “We ate at Mimo’s for the first time tonight. We were seated by the man himself. The place is cozy and authentic. We were served complimentary delicious warm bread knots with marinara dipping sauce and my gosh, are they amazing. Warm, fresh baked and just enough garlic. Grabbed calamari for our appetizer. It was cooked well and served with marinara. We ordered the large cheese pizza for the teenager, baked sausage ziti and linguini alfredo. We finished off with the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. EVERYTHING was perfection. Authentic, delicious and filling. Mimo, is kind, funny and a master at his craft. Please go visit this lovely locally owned spot. You’ll leave full and happy (from the food and Mimo cutting up with you).”

But truly, hands down, he was one of the best waiters we ever had!! The tacos were amazing! So many incredible combinations and the flight option allowed us to try multiple combos. The Filthy Fajita and the Gangsta were really good. And the margaritas were to die for. Highly, highly recommend! And make sure to ask for Jeremy! He will take amazing care of you!!”

“Don’t be sleeping on Aladdin's Mediterranean / Middle Eastern Cuisine located in downtown New Albany. Admittedly, it had been like 8 years since I have last patronized, which I regret! It was very delicious! Price point good. Portions were big. Friendly service and didn’t take long to get our food, despite it being Friday night. the Aladdin’s Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly! I was full after eating only the sandwich. We also had the gyro bowl, the lamb melted in your mouth and the rice texture was on point. Not under/over cooked, not gummy. Even if you are unsure about liking this type of cuisine, just give it a try. I will be going back very soon. They seemed to have a pretty steady carryout line, so that’s always an option too! 10/10 recommend!”

“Being a teacher, it's sometimes hard to make it to our favorite place due to the hours. But, it's summer now, so all bets are off! We made it in yesterday and it was fantastic, as always. Don't leave without grabbing a cookie. $5 for a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie that's the size of a small pizza and delicious when warm.”

“I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.

I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.

They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.

This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.

I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.

“This was my first visit to Wild Eggs, and was happy to eat a meal here. The restaurant is only open in the morning and early afternoon, so come by early.

I tried the strawberry tallcakes, a blueberry muffin, a side of potatoes, and a sweet tea.. All items were of higher quality food and enjoyable. The muffin tasted more like a cake than a muffin. This was my favorite item that I tried. Make sure to order a blueberry muffin! The sweet tea was served in a chilled glass, and tasted great. This drink would actually be refreshing, but needs to have less sugar included. Most of the food here was a bit too sweet for my liking. The potatoes were frozen food heated up, and not a fresh potato. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food.. Make sure to read the menu online before arriving. Prices here are expensive, but you do get good size portions and won't be hungary for awhile.

All of the staff members that I encountered were friendly and helpful. I didn't take long at all to get a table or my food after ordering. My waiter served us tea to go as well. This was a nice gesture on his part.

The inside of the restaurant needs some basic work done. My table was wobbly and somewhat dirty. I noticed some paint chips that came off the wall near my table.

If you are a fan of breakfast foods, then give Wild Eggs a try.”

“I love this place, and I love their black lavender tea! However, the most frustrating thing about this place is that they are ALWAYS out of something specifically, the black lavender. I’m sure it’s a very popular drink. But there’s been times where they’re out for weeks at a time. I gave it time thinking it was from the new startup since they had just opened a little while ago, and had moved their other store recently. However, it is still happening.

I don’t know anything about what’s happening behind the scenes, so it could be a supply thing versus being the actual store itself.

Overall, the staff is quite kind. They always serve with a smile on their faces. Inside is quite casual and relaxing. The drinks are amazing when they’re actually in stock.”

“One of the items I got from there today was a large strawberry milkshake. The milkshake was literally sour. I spoke with Makayla Bishop. She said she put my name down for a free large milkshake, but said that was the only option. She was friendly about it, but I could not imagine serving someone a sour milkshake, and telling them the only option was to try another one of our milkshakes. I think if I buy a soured milkshake from your company, and I want my money back, because I will never buy another milkshake there again, I should have that option. She did say that she made the milkshakes fresh today. but that doesn't mean that it wasn't sour. This is a really poor business practice, especially for a two-star restaurant. You need to start listening to your customers. I think she handled it the best she could. but there are obviously unethical people telling her they can't give money back, even if they are served inferior products. Due to your unethical policy, I will be reporting this incident to the health department. You really think I want a free milkshake? I came for good service, not replacement food. y You policy suggests that you think you are doing someone a favor by replacing dangerous food that you serve. I only visited, because my son wanted a milkshake, and now he said he will never want to go there again either.”

“Went to fistful of tacos the first time today for lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Ben the GM at the new Albany location was very informative and super easy to talk to. Super cool they craft their own beer!!”

“I've done takeout from here a few times but finally decided to done in on one of my off days. The chips, salsa, and queso were all good and pretty much what you would expect from just about anywhere.

I got the tacos al pastor, and to say these tacos were some of the best I've ever had would not be an overstatement. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the toppings were perfect, and three tacos were enough to fill me up. The sauce that came with it was divine!

The service was great as well. I got drink refills in a very timely manner, and everyone was very polite.”

“I love both Pizza King locations, but I do prefer the Jeffersonville location. It's smaller, usually less crowded since it doesn't have a train side, and the staff is very friendly. I love their pizza, it's my favorite place to eat! The only downside is the fact they are closed on Mondays.”

With that in mind, I went in thinking there was no way it could meet the lofty expectations thrust upon it by my friends and family. I was right.Somehow this place managed to exceed all of my expectations. From the delightful and attentive server, to the delicious food as pictured here. Visiting America is always a journey for my stomach, and Tumbleweed was my favourite food stop on this trip. The environment doesn't immediately give off cozy vibes, but once seated it's easy to feel like you're the only table in the room.If I could give the service more than five stars, I would. My glass was never empty, and he never came around in that awkward phase right after you take a bite which was very nice. The chips and queso make for an warm up session for the meal. Overall, I am very much looking forward to returning here again, and making it a regular spot for myself and everyone I can drag there with me.
