“I ate at outcast Wednesday. I would call to make a reservation and i would get hung up on, The host wasn't at the stand for around 10 minutes. the bathrooms were trashed and the host girl was rude to me. I've asked for the manager and I was told to leave. terrible service“

You could tell they warmed it and it sat until the other food was done to serve. Suggestion, when someone orders a baked potatoes and ask to be served with the others, cook it last. “We always are served well at The River House. We had the November special dinner and it was perfectly prepared. Nice steak, beautiful lobster tail and potatoes and asparagus were almost more than I could eat. But the salad and dessert were the perfect way to start and end my meal. My husband tried the scallops and shrimp pasta and it was all he was hoping for. We love dining at the River House because it always makes our special celebrations 100times better.“

I am from Florida and managed a seafood restaurant and this is by far some of the best tasting seafood I have ever ate. the shrimp boil was amazing, the cat fish had the best flavor and fried to a perfect golden brown crisps, the seafood tacos we good enough to slap your momma, shrimp and grits were full and taste with a Cajun twist, gator bites were perfectly cooked and the seafood Mac and cheese well let just say my dad doesn't eat mac and cheese at all and he said it was delicious... friendly staff clean atmosphere. will be coming back the next time we are in town.“

“We had the best experience! Came in on a whim while in town for our Anniversary. Our server Joc blew it out of the park with suggestions on drinks and food topped off with a nice little back story on the family history in distilling. The old fashioned was one of the best I have had at a restaurant. We had the calamari for an app and the extra spice from the clabrian chilli was an awesome touch. We shared the wedge salad which was an explosion of flavors, with a savory green goddess dressing and topped with fresh grape tomatoes a special type of blue cheese (I can't remember the name) The tuna my wife had had a perfect crust and was cooked to perfection (the best tuna she has ever had) I ordered the lamb which was out of this world perfectly seassoned and seared with fresh mint parsley and dill with a nice cool creamy sauce. We got to try a new dessert not on menu, a white and black cookie which pay's homage to the chef's home in new york. A fluffy cookie with a pop of lemon zest, topped with half white frosting and half chocolate served with a side car of their espresso martini made with their own whiskey for dipping. “My husband and I were dying for a good steak for our 45th wedding anniversary. We had never been to the Morton's in Louisville and wanted to give it a try. We were blown away! First the atmosphere was lovely and they really made us feel special with a note about our occasion and confetti on our table. Our waitress was great with information but then gave us our privacy. My husband had the lobster bisque to start and was pleased. Then we both had an 8 ounce filet medium rare that was seared to perfection! We shared sides of asparagus with Parmesan as well as delicious au gratin potatoes with a beautifully brown top. They treated us to a dessert of our choice. We went for the chocolate molten cake with vanilla ice cream, and we both wanted to lick the plate! 😋 Each dish was prepared to perfection. And they even took our picture which they handed to us in a lovely folder. We could not have been happier with every last detail!“

“Came to LJS for dinner and it was quite the experience. We ate in the restaurant and the staff was totally unexpected. I ordered a shrimp rice bowl with no rice and the chef offered to prepare it with lemon and then they accommodated my lack of rice appropriately and unexpectedly. The people who took the order were very friendly and attentive and three different people checked on our experience while we were eating. Food excellent. Staff excellent. Recommended. Everyone who has finished eating and left (about 5 people) have rung the bell, and I will too.“

We asked were they sure ours was correct...cars wrapped around the building. Really wanted my cod and shrimp. Food was good still.
