“I ate at outcast Wednesday. I would call to make a reservation and i would get hung up on, The host wasn't at the stand for around 10 minutes. the bathrooms were trashed and the host girl was rude to me. I've asked for the manager and I was told to leave. terrible service“

“We started with the lump crab tower and it was fabulous as usual. While it is not inexpensive, for the freshness and quality you get, it is a wonderful starter at a decent value. My wife and both had the grilled romaine salad and ahi tuna entree and they were very good. My son had the scallops with a lobster tail added on and while the seafood was topnotch, the accompanying succotash and rice mixtures was not particularly appealing as plated. It had a fine taste, but half the quantity on the plate would have been sufficient and would have looked better. Our service was outstanding from start to finish.“

“Overall we enjoyed our experience. Food was okay and I'm not so sure the taste equated to the cost. One person in our party got the mahi mahi and it was so dry she could barely get it down. The Mac and cheese we had as a side was very soupy. And the sauce on the chicken parm lacked flavor and tasted like it was out of a can. The atmosphere was good until the live music started. We were seated right in front of the stage, and once the music started we tried to get through our meal so we could leave.“

“I recently visited Moby Dick, and I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable the experience was. The place has a casual, no-frills atmosphere that lets the food take center stage. I ordered the kabob platter with rice and a side of their cucumber yogurt, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The meat was juicy and perfectly seasoned, and the rice was fluffy with just the right amount of saffron flavor. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the meal felt hearty but clean.

Service was efficient and friendly, and the staff seemed genuinely invested in making sure everyone had what they needed. The only reason I’m holding back from a full five stars is that the dining area felt a little cramped during peak hours, and it could get a bit noisy. Still, the food more than made up for it. Moby Dick is a great spot when you’re in the mood for something flavorful and satisfying without breaking the bank.“

I am from Florida and managed a seafood restaurant and this is by far some of the best tasting seafood I have ever ate. the shrimp boil was amazing, the cat fish had the best flavor and fried to a perfect golden brown crisps, the seafood tacos we good enough to slap your momma, shrimp and grits were full and taste with a Cajun twist, gator bites were perfectly cooked and the seafood Mac and cheese well let just say my dad doesn't eat mac and cheese at all and he said it was delicious... friendly staff clean atmosphere. will be coming back the next time we are in town.“

“Came to LJS for dinner and it was quite the experience. We ate in the restaurant and the staff was totally unexpected. I ordered a shrimp rice bowl with no rice and the chef offered to prepare it with lemon and then they accommodated my lack of rice appropriately and unexpectedly. The people who took the order were very friendly and attentive and three different people checked on our experience while we were eating. Food excellent. Staff excellent. Recommended. Everyone who has finished eating and left (about 5 people) have rung the bell, and I will too.“

“Ordered a #10 and added 3 shrimp. On the screen there were 2 orders and girl said oh I have to delete that and then she asked for our order AGAIN. She FINALLY had it right on screen so we moved on and paid for it. The wait was LONG-over 20 mins with only 2 cars in front of us with not big bag orders...anyway when got order that was repeated right again i opened up bag and instead of 3 shrimp there was a piece of chicken so I had to get OUT OF MY CAR AND GO IN AS LINE WAS AT FRONT OF RESTAURANT NOW. I told them what we ordered and asked if I can switch out the shrimp for the chicken. I was told no as the shrimp was more and each piece needed to be accounted for by the manager. I told them that I understand but for customer service they messed up my order plus I had to park and get out of my car and now wait on 3 shrimp...OMG!! PLUS I had to BACK to car to get money for the 90c difference as I had no money on me. I told manager the above and she said it was my fault as receipt said chicken and I said no it was put in wrong and reiterated about screen had to be updated and vocally girl told us 3 shrimp to be added. SO FRUSTRATED!! I told her that since it was an inconvenience that I shouldnt have to pay that 90c extra. She insisted that I was wrong bc receipt was was I got and I was given the money back for the chicken and I had to go BACK to car to get $1 to pay toward order since shrimp cost more. Asked how long I had to wait and was told 3 min. I told her for my inconvenience she could at least comp me a drink. She rolled her eyes and said I guess I could do that and then walked away--- wth-- had to ask for a cup...by then my other food was getting cooler. So the recipt was diff than what was quoted to us even at window...we just took the receipt as she said #10 and 3 shrimp. I just got a glass of ice and told her thank you..FINALLY got back to car and went eat the slaw and NO UTENSILS!! I WAS FUMING BY THIS TIME..IF I went back in I know the conversation would not have been nice. So I ate the slaw by turning cup up and using my finger to get it out the cup. My food was lukewarm at this point...I know they probably threw the chicken away...didnt want chicken but why not just give it back as it's left the store plus if you can comp a drink that cost more than the 90c difference And the girl at Mike messed up and at window repeated it correct...and now MY FOOD IS NOT HOT AND NO UTENSIL FOR MY SLAW....THIS WAS A HOT MESS AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! There is NO LJS near us and this was a treat for dinner on 9/11 around 5:30...smh...YOU need to do better.. its the principle surrounding our visit..“
