“My boyfriend and I drive out of town about 40 minutes because this is our absolute favorite spot! The ambiance is wonderful, service is always nothing but great, and the fish is DELICIOUS!! The freshest sushi I’ve ever tasted in the area. The escolar is always a go to. I happily spend a decent amount here and take a roll home as well. Charlie has always been our server, by coincidence but he is always on top of it!! I can tell this business has a great team by how well everything comes out. Servers don’t auction off items, everyone is super polite, food comes out in a timely manner. I’ve been coming here for years and have consistently seen, for the most part, the same servers and that says A LOT in the service industry! Keep doing you guys!“

“I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.

I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.

They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.

This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.

I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.

“Don’t be sleeping on Aladdin's Mediterranean / Middle Eastern Cuisine located in downtown New Albany. Admittedly, it had been like 8 years since I have last patronized, which I regret! It was very delicious! Price point good. Portions were big. Friendly service and didn’t take long to get our food, despite it being Friday night. the Aladdin’s Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly! I was full after eating only the sandwich. We also had the gyro bowl, the lamb melted in your mouth and the rice texture was on point. Not under/over cooked, not gummy. Even if you are unsure about liking this type of cuisine, just give it a try. I will be going back very soon. They seemed to have a pretty steady carryout line, so that’s always an option too! 10/10 recommend!“

“This was my first visit to Wild Eggs, and was happy to eat a meal here. The restaurant is only open in the morning and early afternoon, so come by early.

I tried the strawberry tallcakes, a blueberry muffin, a side of potatoes, and a sweet tea.. All items were of higher quality food and enjoyable. The muffin tasted more like a cake than a muffin. This was my favorite item that I tried. Make sure to order a blueberry muffin! The sweet tea was served in a chilled glass, and tasted great. This drink would actually be refreshing, but needs to have less sugar included. Most of the food here was a bit too sweet for my liking. The potatoes were frozen food heated up, and not a fresh potato. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food.. Make sure to read the menu online before arriving. Prices here are expensive, but you do get good size portions and won't be hungary for awhile.

All of the staff members that I encountered were friendly and helpful. I didn't take long at all to get a table or my food after ordering. My waiter served us tea to go as well. This was a nice gesture on his part.

The inside of the restaurant needs some basic work done. My table was wobbly and somewhat dirty. I noticed some paint chips that came off the wall near my table.

If you are a fan of breakfast foods, then give Wild Eggs a try.“

“I come to you're restaurant all the time, but today is a different story. I called to order and this is how it went. I told her what I wanted and she said ok bye and hung up. I was like really long story short i didnt pk up my food due to no time given to pk up and she never asked my name and was real short. Anyway I never pked it up, and I know she was someone new because this is not how they operate. Please hire better help until then I wont support.“

“My wife Brittany and I stopped in on May 10. The restaurant was packed with only a few seats at the bar. It looked like the hot spot for pre prom dinner. The waitresses were working their tails off trying to keep up and we were very patient. Boy did that patience pay off. Sarah was finally able to ask what drinks we would like. I teased her that water would be great if we ever get it. lol. Sarah immediately new we were kidding and fired back with a little sarcasm of her own. She was wonderful the entire. Sarah brought our bread out. It was very good, but the sauce for dipping was the highlite. Sarah made some recommendations, as we were first time diners. I had chicken parm and my wife ordered eggplant parm. We loved both dishes. Great attention to detail was taken in preparation and appearance. It looked better than any food I have ever seen pictured in a menu, and tasted even better. We followed dinner with chocolate cake and a raspberry sauce that still makes our mouths water. It was so food, we ordered more to take back to the hotel. I would say it is the best little spot in New Albany! Sarah's service and playful personality was the best part of our evening. “I was kind of disappointed. This food was not as good as I remember it being last time. My steak was very gristley. Was cooked right med/rare. Then after we were done eating we sat for at least 25-30 minutes unattended. No one checked on us. All of our drinks were empty for a while. It took a while to get our leftovers together and to get the check. I didn't say anything to the server or anyone that works there but I don't think I'll be back.“

“My hibachi chicken lunch was amazing. The teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce is the best I have ever had...ever. The servers and hostess were very kind and helpful. I can't wait to go back for more yummy food.“

“Nice little neighborhood cafe. We talked to a table of two generations of local ladies that have eaten at Vic's their whole life. Grandma was at least eighty. She said to order the cod or chicken and dumplings. We had the turkey club and fried. We would eat there again if in the area.“

“My husband took me here for a brunch date. This place is delicious. I had a bloody mary w/ chicken & bacon. The 3 little pig plate , was spot on! And the berry stuffed french toast was the best I ever had ! We also tried a flight of flavored memosa , raspberry, mango, strawberry, and im not sure what the other was but i drank it. A must try. This place should be on diners,dives..“

“I love both Pizza King locations, but I do prefer the Jeffersonville location. It's smaller, usually less crowded since it doesn't have a train side, and the staff is very friendly. I love their pizza, it's my favorite place to eat! The only downside is the fact they are closed on Mondays.“

“In my opinion the absolute best Chinese food in southern Indiana. With Chinese food, it's either bad or really good. This place is really good. So happy that we took a chance on them. We'd tried 3 other places that weren't good. We'd almost given up. Then we tried Hing Wang. The only item that could be improved is the egg rolls. They aren't the best, but everything else more than makes up for it.

We normally buy a package of frozen egg rolls from the grocery and heat them up, and pick up our order from Hing Wang to have with them. Don't miss out on their egg drop soup. Excellent choice.“

“Came here at the last minute before returning home and had the BEST BBQ Sandwich and amazing fries ever!! The Zombi Kombi beer was a great addition to the lunch. We sat on the front ‘sidewalk table’ and we were extremely pleased. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming through New Albany! I will be a repeat customer.“

“We usually have the same server and she is always on top of everything, keeping our drinks, chips & salsa refilled at all times. She gets my baby a high chair and applesauce to eat, crayons to color with before our food ever arrives which is so nice! Food always arrives quickly and so far every dish I’ve tried here is packed with so much fresh flavor. I have tried the white chicken chili with jalapeño cornbread, the chimichanga with rice & beans, the Tex Mex Melt with seasoned waffle fries and literally everything from the side of rice to the seasoned ground beef is so flavorful and absolutely delicious! When I go to Mexican restaurants that are not Tex Mex, they just don’t have the great flavors as they do here at Tumbleweed. Or only one or two things are good and everything else is bland tasting. But not here at tumbleweed. It doesn’t matter what you get, it’s all full of flavors!“
