“Don’t be sleeping on Aladdin's Mediterranean / Middle Eastern Cuisine located in downtown New Albany. Admittedly, it had been like 8 years since I have last patronized, which I regret! It was very delicious! Price point good. Portions were big. Friendly service and didn’t take long to get our food, despite it being Friday night. the Aladdin’s Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly! I was full after eating only the sandwich. We also had the gyro bowl, the lamb melted in your mouth and the rice texture was on point. Not under/over cooked, not gummy. Even if you are unsure about liking this type of cuisine, just give it a try. I will be going back very soon. They seemed to have a pretty steady carryout line, so that’s always an option too! 10/10 recommend!“

“My boyfriend and I drive out of town about 40 minutes because this is our absolute favorite spot! The ambiance is wonderful, service is always nothing but great, and the fish is DELICIOUS!! The freshest sushi I’ve ever tasted in the area. The escolar is always a go to. I happily spend a decent amount here and take a roll home as well. Charlie has always been our server, by coincidence but he is always on top of it!! I can tell this business has a great team by how well everything comes out. Servers don’t auction off items, everyone is super polite, food comes out in a timely manner. I’ve been coming here for years and have consistently seen, for the most part, the same servers and that says A LOT in the service industry! Keep doing you guys!“

“I finally get to visit this place after a while. They did get my attention when I posted the Friday Fish Day.

I love their location, and it does feel right. I love all of their decorations since it was unquie.

They have a good selection of beers, and I love how they have Guinness beers include and also local breweries too. I looked over the menu. They have great choice. I was impressed with their curried that made me want to try, which I would come back.

This time, I ordered samoas, which i never had it. It was so delicious and I love the sauce! Also, I ordered fish and chip. This fish and chips does remind me of my visit in Dublin, Ireland, which i miss it so much.

I truly appreciate how the people work there keep check on me. I truly appreciate it.

“This was my first visit to Wild Eggs, and was happy to eat a meal here. The restaurant is only open in the morning and early afternoon, so come by early.

I tried the strawberry tallcakes, a blueberry muffin, a side of potatoes, and a sweet tea.. All items were of higher quality food and enjoyable. The muffin tasted more like a cake than a muffin. This was my favorite item that I tried. Make sure to order a blueberry muffin! The sweet tea was served in a chilled glass, and tasted great. This drink would actually be refreshing, but needs to have less sugar included. Most of the food here was a bit too sweet for my liking. The potatoes were frozen food heated up, and not a fresh potato. Everyone at my table enjoyed their food.. Make sure to read the menu online before arriving. Prices here are expensive, but you do get good size portions and won't be hungary for awhile.

All of the staff members that I encountered were friendly and helpful. I didn't take long at all to get a table or my food after ordering. My waiter served us tea to go as well. This was a nice gesture on his part.

The inside of the restaurant needs some basic work done. My table was wobbly and somewhat dirty. I noticed some paint chips that came off the wall near my table.

If you are a fan of breakfast foods, then give Wild Eggs a try.“

“We were traveling & used the Google map for good food. Found this place.

There were two entrances. One was closed, so we went in from the other. The first thing we saw was a bar. Then, we saw a food counter in the very back. The girl working hard for the pickup orders told us to take seats and take our order. We walked into another section of the building. A wall was dividing the bar from the food (the closed front door directly leads to this section) Once she was done with what she was doing, she brought us water and the menu.

I wanted biscuits & gravy, but I was told they serve that only on breakfast time. We ordered the pork steak sandwich and the Vic's burger. The pork steak sandwich was fantastic! The Vic's burger was very very good but can't say fantastic.

We would go back to this place if/when we travel near by.“

“My wife Brittany and I stopped in on May 10. The restaurant was packed with only a few seats at the bar. It looked like the hot spot for pre prom dinner. The waitresses were working their tails off trying to keep up and we were very patient. Boy did that patience pay off. Sarah was finally able to ask what drinks we would like. I teased her that water would be great if we ever get it. lol. Sarah immediately new we were kidding and fired back with a little sarcasm of her own. She was wonderful the entire. Sarah brought our bread out. It was very good, but the sauce for dipping was the highlite. Sarah made some recommendations, as we were first time diners. I had chicken parm and my wife ordered eggplant parm. We loved both dishes. Great attention to detail was taken in preparation and appearance. It looked better than any food I have ever seen pictured in a menu, and tasted even better. We followed dinner with chocolate cake and a raspberry sauce that still makes our mouths water. It was so food, we ordered more to take back to the hotel. I would say it is the best little spot in New Albany! Sarah's service and playful personality was the best part of our evening. “My hibachi chicken lunch was amazing. The teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce is the best I have ever had...ever. The servers and hostess were very kind and helpful. I can't wait to go back for more yummy food.“

“I come to you're restaurant all the time, but today is a different story. I called to order and this is how it went. I told her what I wanted and she said ok bye and hung up. I was like really long story short i didnt pk up my food due to no time given to pk up and she never asked my name and was real short. “We ate at Mimo’s for the first time tonight. We were seated by the man himself. The place is cozy and authentic. We were served complimentary delicious warm bread knots with marinara dipping sauce and my gosh, are they amazing. Warm, fresh baked and just enough garlic. Grabbed calamari for our appetizer. It was cooked well and served with marinara. We ordered the large cheese pizza for the teenager, baked sausage ziti and linguini alfredo. We finished off with the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. EVERYTHING was perfection. Authentic, delicious and filling. Mimo, is kind, funny and a master at his craft. Please go visit this lovely locally owned spot. You’ll leave full and happy (from the food and Mimo cutting up with you).“

“Everything about this experience was Excellent!! Easily reserved a table through open table. We requested a booth in a certain location and it was ready for us upon arrival. The server was perfect and promptly greeted us and took our drink order immediately. The food was great as always. We both got the petite filet medium rare and they we cooked to perfection. “They put mushrooms in dishes that aren't listed on the menu. Major allergy alert for some! They'll argue that the dish does come with mushrooms even though it's nowhere in the menu description. “In my opinion the absolute best Chinese food in southern Indiana. With Chinese food, it's either bad or really good. This place is really good. So happy that we took a chance on them. We'd tried 3 other places that weren't good. We'd almost given up. Then we tried Hing Wang. The only item that could be improved is the egg rolls. They aren't the best, but everything else more than makes up for it.

We normally buy a package of frozen egg rolls from the grocery and heat them up, and pick up our order from Hing Wang to have with them. Don't miss out on their egg drop soup. Excellent choice.“

“I love both Pizza King locations, but I do prefer the Jeffersonville location. It's smaller, usually less crowded since it doesn't have a train side, and the staff is very friendly. I love their pizza, it's my favorite place to eat! The only downside is the fact they are closed on Mondays.“

“I spent about three years hearing about how good this place is before I visited it. With that in mind, I went in thinking there was no way it could meet the lofty expectations thrust upon it by my friends and family. I was right.Somehow this place managed to exceed all of my expectations. From the delightful and attentive server, to the delicious food as pictured here. Visiting America is always a journey for my stomach, and Tumbleweed was my favourite food stop on this trip. The environment doesn't immediately give off cozy vibes, but once seated it's easy to feel like you're the only table in the room.If I could give the service more than five stars, I would. My glass was never empty, and he never came around in that awkward phase right after you take a bite which was very nice. The chips and queso make for an warm up session for the meal. Overall, I am very much looking forward to returning here again, and making it a regular spot for myself and everyone I can drag there with me.

Kid-friendliness: The inclusion of a kids menu is a wonderful touch, and kept ours entertained throughout the whole meal. The staff were very nice to her as well.“

“Great first experience. First off, my wife left her phone at the bar when we left and the Lady Bartender ran out to catch us and return it! Very much appreciated and we'll be sure to catch her again next time to show our thanks. The beer was good. Shakezilla was spot on for my wife's preferred flavor style. I had the Zombie Kombi and the Braun Jovi and both were good representations of their style. The Zucchini chips we excellent, very crisp. The Burger Slider and the Reuben sandwich were both very good and the fries were some of the best I've had anywhere. The only little negative was the 1000 Island Dressing, not sure if it was bottled or house made but it could be tarted up a bit...literally, I'd ad some lime juice or maybe a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar. It barely tasted like anything other than mayo. Oh, we finished with the Bread Pudding which was very good and not skimpy on the portion as we couldn't finish it and took it home for later. We're local, we'll be back.“
