“Stopped for lunch today. My Boyfriend and I shared the green goddess salad, crab hush puppies, and the chicken sandwich. Aside from the decor being lovely and the bar/restaurant being super clean, the food and service was spectacular! Lily, our server, was extraordinarily polite and helpful with our questions. She was kind enough to ask the kitchen to split our order ahead of time which was much appreciated. The green goddess salad and chicken sandwich were amongst the best we have ever had. Looking forward to checking out their brunch while we are in town.“

“My husband and I went to Bistro Nota a couple of weeks ago on a cold rainy Friday night. We went because one of the owners/chefs is Jake - formerly of Chop’s Wine Bar (when it was at it’s best). As is Jake’s forte, the the food was fabulous! We tried several different things. We ordered a bottle of the “house” red wine from their varied wine list. It was a great wine, far superior to what I expected from anyone’s house wine! The Pain et Fromage was delicious-Homemade Sliced Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia served with Roasted Pepper Cheese Dip. For dinner we tried their delicious Bistro Mac & Cheese - for an “a la carte” item it was a large portion. We ordered Low country Shrimp (GF) from the “small plates” portion of the menu - my husband doesn’t eat pork so they graciously omitted the bacon. We ordered Beef Teres Major entree -Petite Shoulder Tenderloin, Roasted Garlic Marinated, Potato Veloute, Sofrito with Grilled Focaccia. The staff is engaging, congenial & professional. The atmosphere is comfortable, urban, slightly industrial. We will go back to Bistro Nota again and again !!!“

“Stopped in from out of town with little time to spare before the Komets hockey game, almost didn’t go thinking there was no way we’d have time for a sit down restaurant on a Saturday night but called ahead about 15 minutes out. They got us right into a table, our server was with us right away. I never leave reviews but Tonya was so attentive and swift with our service that I felt obligated. In a world where it seems every time you go out and spend your hard earned money to enjoy a nice family meal you end up feeling like a burden on your server or put on the back burner, she was the exact opposite. You could feel that she was genuinely working to ensure that my family was well taken care of and had an excellent experience. We never had to wait for anything, she paid attention, anytime my wife or I thought of something we needed she would pop up and ask before I could even wave her over. (Yet she managed to not be that overeager, constantly asking you if you need anything to the point it becomes obnoxious server). She had several tables and I could see they were all receiving the same attention we were. There was no stopping to play on her phone or going out to take breaks, or talking with coworkers, we were a priority. Our drinks never ran dry and the timing was perfect. We got there and got sat right away, quickly got our drinks, salads immediately after, and by the time we were done with the salads and bread the food was there and PERFECT. The prime rib was amazing and the Ribeye was out of this world! Everything was cooked perfectly the first time out of the kitchen, our couple little requests were immediately addressed by Tonya and she returned quickly. She was great with our kids and even helped pack up our leftovers for the dog. We made it to the Colosseum with time to spare before the puck drop. 5 star food, accommodated quickly, and It was so refreshing to have a server that actually cared so much for her job. From the hostess, to the server, to the kitchen- 5 star service all the way around. We will go back whenever we’re in town.“

“We were here last night, and overall, it was a pretty solid visit. The place is visually impressive and family-friendly, serving up everything from hand-rolled sushi to dim sum and pan-Asian favorites like Mongolian Beef and Chang’s spicy chicken. Our server was friendly and the vibe was relaxed, which made for a comfortable dinner out. We had some classic dishes - Kung Pao Spicy Beef, Pork Dumplings and Egg Drop Soup. “Today was my first time in, just found them via random Google search for breakfast locations near me, while I was visiting the Fort Wayne area- I'm all about supporting local small businesses, everywhere I go, especially when it comes to food... the food was so delicious and you could tell that it was cooked with purpose and soul, not just left under a heat lamp till someone ordered it, and so delicious... highly recommend the pancakes, they are super light but full of flavor! Personally I'm vegetarian, my friend is not, but we both ordered the breakfast sandwich special of the day, and I was able to substitute with impossible sausage, they also offer turkey sausage if you don't do pork. And the food isn't even the best part: it's what I found out from the owner while we were eating- it's what the cafe means to her! The owner is the sweetest, most genuine women you could ever meet. She explained that she's not exactly had a great history of making choices in life and been in some rough spots herself, and has overcome the odds that got stacked against her to get where she is today. Not only did that story touch my heart strings, but she then went on to say that also her staff is mostly those who that society mislabels and judges before knowing their stories, and she is willing to give them a place and chance do better for themselves. Unfortunately two of the people working that day didn't come in, but you would never know because she ran everything so smoothly!! If you're in need of breakfast or lunch in the Ft Wayne area, definitely stop in! You won't be disappointed! Once you become a regular they'll even greet you by name as we saw several times during our time there!“

“We started with the crab cakes for appetizers and ordered the 14-oz ribeye, 6-oz filet mignon, and lobster tails for our main entrées. Our sides included broccoli, mashed potatoes, lobster bisque soup, and chili. Overall, the food was very good — the lobster bisque was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The pretzel bread with the cinnamon-flavored butter was superb, and both steaks and the lobster were cooked to perfection.

The mashed potatoes were the only real disappointment — they were lumpy and cold. Another issue was with my date’s cocktail. I ordered a sangria, which was amazing. However, his Long Island Iced Tea tasted more like a cola (Coke or Pepsi) and had no noticeable alcohol flavor. Our waitress, Ashley, was super nice and attentive, but when we mentioned the drink issue, she became somewhat defensive and explained it had three ounces of liquor. The manager never came to our table to address the concern, which was disappointing.

Despite that, the restaurant had an amazing ambiance and overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent aside from the few issues mentioned. That’s why I’m giving four stars instead of five. I would still highly recommend Backstreet Steakhouse — just maybe skip the Long Island Iced Tea and ask for your mashed potatoes hot!“

“Pizza sounded like a great option for a late family meal on a Saturday night, and B. Antonio's did not disappoint. We got two pizzas, one regular and one gluten free. Some pizza places have gluten free crusts available but cannot accommodate celiac disease safely. My wife had no issues at all after eating, so we are thrilled to have a celiac safe pizza option. The rest of us enjoyed the combination of toppings on our pizza as well- just the right amount of meats, vegetables, sauce, and cheese. We will definitely be back!“

“My husband and I used Pint & Slice's upstairs rental room for our wedding rehearsal dinner and we're so glad we did! We were able to book the space ahead of time and provide our order via email. The staff introduced themselves so we knew who our point of contact was and all the food was ready right on time. There was something everyone enjoyed (we even got a GF and vegan cheese pizza for those with dietary restrictions) and the pizza, salad, and drinks went quickly. The staff was super accommodating (even on a really busy day) and we were even able to add a couple pizzas last-minute when we realized how quickly our guests were smashing the ones we previously ordered. We will obviously keep stopping in for slices and pies, but would recommend anyone to book the room for your special event as well!“

Normally places try to rush you through an order, he took his time and even when I had trouble with my form of payment he was patience and understanding. I told him his service was exceptional despite someone coming in late, it was like I was the first customer. The restaurant was clean despite telling it wasn't picked up yet. We decided to take a chance and get carry out steaks (we were a little skeptical of getting our food to go, especially when you’re spending over $100 in steak and sides). Was it suitable as a light meal while on a road trip to a place with better food? Debatable.
