“I had the pizza it was very good. Talking with the staff I learned they import their crust from Italy. It was like no other crust I ever had before. I though it was really good. I also had a chocolate shake and the large came out with the extra that was left over in the mixing container so it was like getting two milk shakes. Great job and great experience“
“I took my son there to eat, the food was OK not great but also not terrible; it was pretty much-overpriced middle of the road.I feel like if you are going to charge pretentious prices for food, it should be of the highest quality, not middle-grade food. Here is an example: my son and I ate there for 36 dollars so 18 dollars each. The sandwiches we ordered said they are $19.98 for two subs on the menu board they were $9.99 each, but we ended up paying an additional $16.02 for 2 french fries, and 2 regular-sized drinks, and taxes on the meal. I personally feel that Subway or Firehouse subs have better food prices that match up more to the quality + price on their menu. The truth is for $36.00 we could have eaten lots of different places and gotten better food choices. I will say the workers were very nice and friendly, and the restaurant itself was spotless and clean. However, we were there at 3 pm and there was only one other set of people eating inside. I do understand with prices like that, that not everyone can afford to eat there. I did ask the man and his family if he ate there often and he said no, and he went on to say he was not going back, they went there and ate but paid for the meal because they were already there but didn't intend to return because it was so pricey to eat there. In their situation, they had 2 small children and a husband and wife. I will be surprised if this restaurant lasts a lot longer, in this economic downfall. If you look at my photos you will see the sub isn't a big sub, not much on it. They have one added layer of trickery to get you to pay for their over priced food. They take your order but don't tell you how much it is, all they say is you need to pay at the other counter so you walk down ot the other end of the restaurant and pay when you get the final price, you may feel like your invested in the process because you went through an extra step in paying the bill. Just remember restaruants spend huge amounts of money in setting up their restaurants, they know the psychology of the restaurant flow and how it will help them in getting you to pay way more than you normally would for mediocre food.“
“I was driving in from out of state and since my husband has reminisced about Kmart subs for YEARS, I thought I would stop by Scoobies to pick some up to bring home to him. Unfortunately I was only in town for the weekend, and even though they are closed on Saturdays, the owner so graciously offered to COME IN and make subs for me!! I couldn't believe it! Incredible customer service and my husband said the Kmart subs were DELICIOUS and SPOT ON. Thank you for going the extra mile to help me bring back a memory for him. WE APPRECIATE YOU!!“

“I have been coming here since I was in high school and you can call it nostalgia if you want, but in my opinion this is the best subway around. Not only is the staff incredibly friendly but even after not returning for nearly 5 years (just wasn't ever in this area due to moving) the owners still remembered me BY NAME. Name another establishment that values their customers that much. Always has been one of my favorite places near Penn High School and probably always will be. The food is exceptional and the service is outstanding every time!“

“Okay, so no offense to any reviewer, but I feel this needs to be said because some reviews about this location I feel are completely off the mark. So of course no everyone will have the same experience, but I felt the lady helping me today and making my food was wonderful and deserves praise. Of course English may not be her first language, but so what, she understood what I meant and vise versa. She was very sweet, with a smile on her face and was such a pleasant person to talk with and have making my food. Again not everyone will have the exact same experience and you can't knock them for saying so, but to either bring up a language issue or just to insult the workers in general is completely wrong and I felt the need to restore some positivity about this place. Compared to some other locations, this place certainly has my business again and all around praise. So Thank You.“
“This sub shop is in a gas station.It's not very clean. Alway people walking through dining area as the restrooms are placed in the middle.The food is good. It is a bit pricey for a gas station restaurant. Have never seen it very busy. Their exclusive dew is great. If it's just a quick stop it's worth this stop for good food.“

If you are fond of cheesesteaks, Charlie's Cheesesteaks is a solid option in the University Park Mall in South Bend. It was warm, cheesy and the employees cool. Everything worked seamlessly considering they just reopened after the quarantine shutdown. This is the only cheesesteak place I'd ever been to and considering it's in the mall, I doubt this is the best I'll ever have. However, they definitely were a good place to have my first one. I don't know if I would be a regular as I have my favorite food place in the mall already, but I can see myself coming back.“

They have great options for a variety of tastes.... fresh fruit, salads, cheese, sushi, as well as fried chicken, soup, sandwiches, doughnuts, muffins, chips, and candy all right at your convenience near the Starbucks.The one suggestion I would make is that they need to stock the pint size Crystal Springs Creamery milk somewhere near the deli. (NOT only on the complete opposite side of the store in the dairy department.)There are also restrooms right inside the door to the right.“
